- Part 2: Christmas Confession: A year after the date Christmas date with Adrien, Ladybug starts to realise somethings have changed, including her feelings towards her partner.
A new Christmas series, written by Jheqia and Narrated by Dawn; looking at Christmas through the love square.
Part 1: A Friendly Kiss. Adrien is forced to attend a charity event for the Agreste Brand but by some ladybug luck, ends up biding on his first date with the lady of his dreams.

I always feel bad for Cat/Adrien because he’s almost always walking the edge of being akumatized because of how he feels for Ladybug.
Its almost like he needs someone to talk to in stories, someone who knows his secret.
Yeah I know what you mean, but who would he have to turn to? 🤔
@@dawnchoruswrites-miraculous Honestly? If we stick to the show, there’s pretty much only Nino. He doesn’t show any signs of being close to any of the other boys in the class, and he wouldn’t want to risk their safety by telling them himself. That and Nino tells him that he and Alya are the heroes Carapace and Rena Rouge. So… I don’t think he would tell Nino or Alya since Shadowmoth knows their identities.
So taking that into account… there is basically no one he could feasibly talk to without it being odd. I mean there’s Marinette, but he cares too much for her in a protective manner to put her at risk like that, so he visits her as Cat Noir. Plus there’s always the chance she won’t believe him if he tells her “Marinette, i’m Cat Noir.” And chances are, she wouldn’t believe him since she has a crush on him and she is Ladybug
In my mind they need to develop Adrien’s character a bit more, probably by having him either make a new friend whom either discovers his identity and is chill about it, or he gets akumatized because of internalized feelings that could’ve been easily discussed.
*taking a few minutes to think about this, yes these are on opposite sides of the good and bad spectrum, but kinda necessary. Unless they’re trying to make Adrien an example of “You can always talk to your friends” but its not the best example… and they did that with Marinette, in a less… catastrophic way.
But the possibility of a new character being added in the fourth season who basically immediately becomes Adrien’s best friend, so much so that they learn his secret identity would be extremely suspicious from the audience standpoint. I mean… maybe Zoe could be used as Adrien’s emotional support character?
It would be a stretch but it wouldn’t be suspicious if he went to the Grand Paris Hotel. Zoe used to live in New York which has super heroes so she would know to keep a secret, further emphasized by the fact she is Vesperia. And its reasonable that they would be friends while not being romantically interested in one another (Marinette and Alya would likely notice them spending time together and would assume things though).
Apologies for the rambling, just a topic i’ve been thinking about for a while now since its kind of a core issue with miraculous
