- Part 1: Adrien is partly distracted by planning his first anniversary with Marinette whilst playing video games with Plagg, when Bunnix shows up in his bedroom.
Why did she need him? Why wasn't Ladybug with her? Why was Bunnix handing him the Ladybug Miraculous so that he would become Mister Bug? Who was Lady Blanc?

I need to see Alex become the new guardian! She knows all, she's wise and know when to step in and when not to. Her telling Adrien and Marinette that it is time for them to reveal themselves is like she is the guardian of the Miraculous's.

Plz go back and check the shows where someone else wears the earrings, everyone says their own superhero name when throwing the lucky charm.
I understand what you’re going for but if you take into account the situation Cat/Mister bug was in… calling it extremely stressful and kinda terrifying is an understatement on both accounts.
So he would be in a rush to purify the akuma as he’s almost never faced an opponent where he could truly die with no chance of his lady bringing him back. Except for Lady Blanc, who has the power of destruction. So when he got the akuma and purified it, he was in a rush/panic to do so, causing him to say whatever came to his mind and not the miraculous mr bug line, as he needed the ladybugs to restore, not give a certain catchphrase.
Yes its a tiny detail, but still. Understandable in his situation
@@Will-mk5pj no. You're missing the point. It is not the insects that are miraculous, they are just the image of the power, it is the holder. Calling on them would do nothing. By calling the holders name the power comes from their personal strength and character. That is why each new holder has a new name.
Heck, we had a whole episode with Alya trying to find the right name for herself. That is why Adrien should say" miraculous Mr Bug", as he did in Reflekdoll.

While it is indeed necessary to call out a name when summoning the bugs to fix everything, I think it doesn’t quite matter what name specifically. Alya could’ve used any name at all and it would’ve worked fine, as seen with mr. Bug. Also when Alya was looking for the “perfect name” for herself, she also kinda proved that she’s not the best holder for the ladybug miraculous. After all, she was trying to control everything around her and treated Cat less like a partner and more like a sidekick.
But in this situation, where Adrien is in a rush to purify the akuma of the single most lethal and destructive akumatized person he’s ever had the misfortune of meeting, he wouldn’t be thinking of calling out the hero name he has for himself, he’s thinking of the first thing to come to mind, ladybug.
