- You need a specific pairing code to connect your Kawasaki Ninja 500 SE or Z500 SE to your phone, but you need the manual for that code. Here is how to do it without opening your manual.
Download the Rideology app first and create an account.
1. Turn the key (or knob), the bluetooth icon will blink in the display, waiting to pair
2. In the Rideology app, press the helmet icon in the lower right corner
3. Click on 'Add new vehicle'. It should find your Z500 SE or Ninja 500 SE.
4. Click on the nearby Kawasaki and press 'connect' near the bottom of the screen. Press OK to connect.
5. Pairing is in progress. Press 833454 and press 'pair'
6. Change the name if you want to, select model year and press 'Submit'

Thanks! Would never have completed the pairing without this video.
The Rideology app prompts for a code - which the connecting device (bike) should display, so you can enter the code in the app. Nothing! This default code from your video worked.
You are my hero. Liked and Subscribed.
That is awesome, my daughter has been trying connect using the suggested 1234 or 0000 with no luck but your code worked first time. Brilliant!
You're welcome. Glad I could help out at least one person. :) For other Kawasaki's it shows the code in the display, but this one somehow does not and the code can only be found in the manual. That is why I made a video about it as not everyone reads (or has) the manual.
What are the functions of "bluetooth connectivity"?
I don't quite understand what it is for, does it show google maps on the screen or what can be done?
Some basic info in the app about the voltage of the battery. Furtermore you can record rides. Next to that you can see a lot of info of the ride itself combined with location. Like speed, gear, rpm, coolant temperature etc. A lot of info. But how many times will you use it? Probably not that much. Also you will be able to see if you got a phone call or email on your phone. That will be displayed on the cockpit. Yet only an icon. No names. Because everyone gets spam, chances are big you will always see that email notification when you ride with bt connected.
for me in the app rideology, in my veichles doesn’t exist the “add new vehicle”, how can I resolve this?
Someone else found it in the bluetooth menu of the phone to allow new devices. Have you tried that? After that when going back to the app the bike could be found.
The cod is not coming. Help please
Did you follow all instructions in the video? You need to enter the code yourself, the display won't show it.
When we connect via Bluetooth, can we see Google Maps on the motorcycle screen?
Unfortunately not. It is quite limited. You can get info from the bike itself and see if you get messages or have missed calls. Would be a perfect upgrade to have navigation on it and I think Kawasaki will do this in the future, but it will probably take a couple years before we see this on small displacement bikes.
Where can I get password for pairing?
It is in the video itself and in the video description.
@@MotoSnax thank you for sharing, done pairing.
Top speed
In a couple days probably. I don't have that much time to edit videos. I have two small kids and they take a lot of time.

Great video, many thanks. Connected to my new Eliminator, no issues.
Thanks! Luckily the Eliminator does not have this 'problem'. It is not really a problem, but you have to look for the code in the manual instead of the cockpit showing you the code (which it does for other models).
Can u please explain how to lock the steering? With kipas
@@andreihordila9367 push and turn to the left. Just like you would with a key.
For me the bile wont show up in the app 😢
Did you try it with another phone? Or did you on your first phone perhaps connect it via your phone's bluetooth menu first? That should not be done, it should be done in the app.
@@MotoSnax hey, so my issue was that under my phone’s bluetooth setting I had to click on allow new devices to connect. I hit that - went back to the app and the bike showed up under Add new mortorcycle
I don't even get the promotion for the pin it just searches until time lapse even though it knows it's there they won't connect
So even if you press Connect on the bottom of the app, nothing happens?
@@MotoSnax nothing happens tries to connect for 5 minutes then times out each time
When you switch the key, bluetooth icon is blinking for 3 minutes. After that it will shut off on the bike itself if it can't find anything. Perhaps go to the dealership and ask them for help if your phone can't see your bike.
@@MotoSnax again my phone can find it, it just tries to connect for five minutes then gives up.
@@probonostoner5774 But you didn't try to connect via your Andoid/iOS bluetooth menu, right? As it should be done via the app. The app should see the bike, you click on the bike and in the bottom of the app you press 'Connect'. And that is probably when you don't see the pop-up to enter the code. Or see what another phone does with it. If it is able to connect. Might also be something wrong with the cockpit itself.
