I went to a goodwill last week that was right across the street from Hobby Lobby. The goodwill had a section in the store with pieces from Hobby Lobby that had the original Hobby Lobby price on them. Not marked down at thrift store prices. Not even 40-90% off that you would pay if you bought it at Hobby Lobby. 😡 I was glad to hear the new black metal basket was less than 1/2 price as what you would have paid at Target.

Wow you get good prices on your goodwill picks!! Ours have gone up so much in price you can almost buy it on sale for the same price. But I loved what you did. That large blue green piece has the look of leather to me. Don’t know what it’s supposed to be but I liked the finish you did.

I love thrift flips, too. I used to like the Dollar Tree videos, until I started to buy some of it, and the quality was not very good and it seems like everyone does the same things. Now, I love thrift flips because they are unique, beautiful, and still a great price.
Edit: I love the frames, I have a ton of frames that my mom collected over the years, and, honestly, I really think that empty frames are beautiful. Some of them are so pretty, they can be the "artwork," themselves, they don't need a picture inside of them. That blue/green vase, or jar, or whatever it is, that you painted, was so unique, and I love the colors that you chose. You always do such unique things, and I look forward to your videos. ❤️🤗❤️

Miss Molly I had the same experience with Dollar Tree up cycles. I was amazed at how they could make them look so much better and looked excellent in the video but when I did them and saw them up close it wasn’t so fantastic. Plastic is plastic no matter what it looks like. Thrift flips from garage sales and thrift stores are so much better! Higher quality and fun to find and create with! I just have a difficult time buying at Good Will and we have them near me. I’d much rather shop at Salvation Army, garage sales, and church thrift stores where you know the money is going to a good place and they are so over priced at Good Will. I even find things on FB Buy Nothing Project Groups. Those are fabulous. Sorry so lengthy.

On the big mirror couldn't you do some stenciling around the edges to cover the scratches and spots? I think it would be pretty especially if it could look like frosted glass. Just a thought.
Paint the mirror and put a saying with vinyl saying on it, decorate with flowers/ greenery around frame or just paint frame or do both. Hang horizontally. Just suggesting

I think it's called " silvering" when that happens to mirrors, I had a friend who few that did that, and it's the way the surface is breaking down, for whatever reason. Nice finds.

@Coffee With My Sunshine you're quite welcome! I'm also older ( past 55) so I recall that from 20 years past, lol. When you see that, or it has dark spots, etc, the silvering is taking place, the breakdown of the mirrored surface.
