In response to above comment, the scenery is average compared to the best of the Alps, the Cascades, the Sierras, the southern Andes, New Zealand's South Island or any other intermediate mountain range of the world. Big Ranges like the Himalaya, certain small but high parts of the central Andes or the big Yukon-Alaska Ranges will exceed it in size and perhaps grandeur, but the Canadian Rockies and the adjacent Columbia River Mountains to the west bring a lot of things together in an artistic way: Mountains, Canyons, Valleys, Rivers, Lakes, Waterfalls, Icefalls, Glaciers, Icefields, Forests, Meadows, Flowers and Lots of Wildlife, as well as accessible but true wilderness, and it is extensive in area too, 100,000 square miles of almost total wilderness, 10,000 square miles of that protected in various Parks, many of them contiguous. This video showed maybe one-quarter of 1% of the region, and nearly all of it looks similar to this in one form or another.

Thanks for a beautiful video of an awe inspiring place. I had the privilege of being in those areas in August of 2015 with my parents. It was the last major vacation for my dad who died at the age of 85 in 2017. Didn't have time to hike to Lake Agnes so your video fills in that blank for me, mahalo! Some day when this pandemic is over and if Canada allows Americans back in, I hope to go there again with my husband who has never been there. I hope you can go back to experience Moraine Lake, Peyto Lake, Athabasca Glacier (if it is still there), and Jasper (that's as far north as the tour took us).
hello, been there in august 1999 and august 2016 and i can't wait to go back to these places, so beautiful and Canadians are really welcoming. i wish i could leave that messy France. I'm fed up with the general state of mind there.
One of the most amazing places in the entire world (the Entire Canadian Rockies, Banff, Yoho, Jasper, Kootenay, Athabasca Glacier, Lake Moraine and the whole area). Went there in 1987 for two weeks. Amazing place. Mankind has built incredible structures, but it pales in comparison to the handiwork of God, and what took Billions of years to create.
THANKYOU SO MUCH I have dreamed for years to go see Banff and now I have!!! I don't think any place could be prettier. I also so appreciate the delicate touch of music you chose
How beautiful! ❤️ What a shame you didn’t see Lake Moraine though - you’ll have to go back some day. This brought back some lovely memories of our trip there in Aug/Sept 2017. We were affected by fires too, but not as much as you seemed to be. Thanks so much for this, and beautiful music accompaniment - suited the magnificent landscapes.
I wanted to visit Banff my whole life and it finally happened a few years ago. I knew it was going to be pretty but I still wasn't prepared for how jaw droppingly beautiful it was. I just stared and stared and stared and stared. And the surprise was how many other amazing landscapes there were in Alberta besides the Rockies. All of southern Alberta was just fantastic.
Thank you for your comment ! This year i go back last time i did not finished my trip because of the forest fires . . I missed Moraine Lake ;) i hope to go all the way up to jasper this time 👍
It's worth the trip. When you drive north up the Icefields Parkway the terrain gets more rugged and more intense. I went as far as the Athabasca Glacier. I'd recommend going on that giant truck to walk on the glacier too. Just dress warmly even if it's decently warm at the parking lot. You'd be walking on a glacier after all. Non mountain getaways in Alberta (Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump, Badlands/Drumheller, even the Oldman River Valley (Lethbridge) were great too but a very different type of experience than Banff.@@TheFlyingDutchMan8K

@Abir Almoznino Prices have been creeping up even during this pandemic. But $500,000 Canadian should get you a decent 3 bedroom house with attached 2 car garage in a fairly safe neighbourhood. Crime isn't as bad here but does get worse as time goes by. Our nations are morally degenerate anymore and it just keeps getting worse, doesn't it?
Many people consider it and adjacent Jasper to be the most beautiful scenery in the world. Although ive got to say you have amazing parks in the US too. Yellowstone is gorgeous.

hello, been there in august 1999 and august 2016 and i can't wait to go back to these places, so beautiful and Canadians are really welcoming. i wish i could leave that messy France. I'm fed up with the general state of mind there.
Sorry to hear. The rioting was all over the news in the States about a month ago. It seems to have died down after Christmas.
Canada is heaven 🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦

Breathtakingly beautiful...😍impressive.It’s now in my bucket list.Thank you for sharing.
Don't forget Moraine lake ;) Subscribe if you like to see more video's this summer !
One of the most amazing places in the entire world (the Entire Canadian Rockies, Banff, Yoho, Jasper, Kootenay, Athabasca Glacier, Lake Moraine and the whole area). Went there in 1987 for two weeks. Amazing place. Mankind has built incredible structures, but it pales in comparison to the handiwork of God, and what took Billions of years to create.
thank you for your comment !
next year i create more video's about banff and jasper i have to finish my last trip. . . did not made it too jasper with the forest fires
THANKYOU SO MUCH I have dreamed for years to go see Banff and now I have!!! I don't think any place could be prettier. I also so appreciate the delicate touch of music you chose
The video is nice but it isn't being there.
@@survivortechharold6575 Yes, nothing can quite prepare you for how huge and overwhelming it all is.
Thank you ! The plan for this year is to record a new video at banff but i think its not gonna happen. . .
The Flying Dutchman - it will still be there when you can go again 🙂

@@GoWestYoungMan thanks i will look when am home from work 👍 ive seen on the internet that peyto lake viewpoint is closed for 2020 😕 i was really interested in that view point for video . .
@@GoWestYoungMan first week i visit waterton lakes and glacier and then i have 2 weeks for banff yoho and jasper 👍
@@TheFlyingDutchMan8K I went to Waterton. The hotel perched on the hill overlooking the lake is marvellous but didn't have time to see much else. Enjoy your trip!
It is amazing.
We were there also in 2017.
We miss Banff, yesterday my 3 years old son asked me to go back to Canada :)
i go back in 2020 thank you for your comment !
Hey Saif
How are you keeping,
Where are you from??
Nice
Me emocioné hasta las lágrimas, viajé un poco mirando esto, gracias, nuestro planeta es alucinante
Is it okay to cry when I see such beauty?
Go right ahead. I live in Calgary, just an hour's drive away from it, and it really is overwhelmingly stupendous to be there.
Increíble como es de bello este planeta, gracias UA-cam por cambiar la forma de percibir el mundo.
Thank you for this video. Wonderful...
i live in the U.S. and want too visit a few National Parks here. but i would love too visit this place. it is stunning.
Many people consider it and adjacent Jasper to be the most beautiful scenery in the world. Although ive got to say you have amazing parks in the US too. Yellowstone is gorgeous.
Thank you for showing us this.
Awesome video. So beautiful. You must have a real good camera. So clear. Thank you for sharing God's beauty.

I love my Native Land!🇨🇦😍🌄
6:25... hope you made it back to Lake Louise when the sun was shining on the lake. Eating in the restaurant overlooking the lake... then going out on the lake in a canoe... there's nothing quite like it! Thanks for sharing your adventure. You brought back some great memories!
