- Announcing the new and improved 8K2 MIDI controller from Pete Prodoehl (used with the Lekholm DM48X Digital Harmonica)
Rasterweb shop! @ Etsy
Please NOTE: Lekholm is a Swedish company that manufactures the DM48X. It is NOT associated with the Rasterweb Etsy Shop whatsoever .
I’ve also included a brief overview of what I’m doing in AUM on an iPad Pro to create the multi horn sounds. I’m planning more “Tips & Tricks” videos for the DM48X, stay tuned! 😀
Well done Jason!
Great explanation Jason. Thanks for making that. Hope all is well with you and let’s catch up sometime soon.
Fantastic!
This is very informative and invaluable information thanks a lot for sharing. Great playing as usual Jasón.
Thanks man! More vids to come..
Jason thanks for the instruction. I have gone down the rabbit hole only to get stuck. I love the DM48X and purchased a new iPad to accommodate a few Swam instruments but when playing live with a band latency issues and - I believe other wireless instruments, WiFi interference cause issues. AUM seems to be problematic. ThumbJam seems to be more stable without AUM. Never bought the controller because I can’t seem to work the bugs out. Glad you have the expertise and the skill.
Interesting. I have found AUM to be one of the most stable apps on iOS, so there may be something specific that’s causing issues. I have zero latency issues because I mostly use the DM48 wired. The wireless feature is fun when practicing sometimes, but as an electric bass player I’ve always dealt with a cord attached to my instrument, so it’s not a big deal.
Can you plug the 8k into the DM48X and stay totally wireless?
The 8K plugs into the ipad, not the DM48X. Yes, you can play wireless with the DM and be wired with the 8K. But as I mentioned above, I’ve always performed wired, which has zero latency issues.
