Fyi for those who don't know polk is been around since the 1970's but they recently started making home audio systems , but I remember in the 80's when a big band would come to play live they had huge polk speakers , yeah I'm that old

I had an aftermarket stereo with Polk speakers in my 1996 Z28. Most crystal clear speakers I’ve heard.

I've been a Polk Audio fan for many years. I've always liked the volume control for the center channel/voices. Many of my elderly enjoy this feature.
Bought this from Amazon for the bedroom for sci-fi Saturday’s with the wife as a Christmas present after shopping some used options. This Polk ticked ass my boxes. Thanks for the video.

The signa s3 is same price at 199.00, thinking about getting it, either that or a vizio m series 5.1
I actually just bought this soundbar a few weeks ago. I went to Best Buy to listen to a few other ones, and they didn't have them set up, so I had to decide from about 5 others including this one. For the money, this one sounded much better than anything else in the range. I love it.
I am thrilled that there is a good review of this soundbar that I have been thinking about buying for my new 4k UDH tv. Looks good too!

I bought one the other day, Best Buy, $149 on sale. Bought the Rocket Fish TV mount. This inexpensive sound bar and subwoofer actually sounds incredibly good. The voice clarity of the sounder is top notch, worth every penny and I would recommend to friends. Very impressed.

Well done review. Someone posted the bar is meant to mount directly to wall, not with under TV bracket mounts? Is this true or wont be a problem to mount w/ brackets under TV?
Picked up the sound bar for my low end hi-fi theater system a few years ago and it still sounds better than some of the newer stuff that’s being released.
Thanks for this informative video. One question, do the aux and hdmi ports function exclusively or can they function together at the same time? For example while watching music on tv, can I somehow plug in a mixer in aux where I can plug a mic so I can sing along?
I have a low end tv that has speakers facing toward the back of the set. I just checked it does allow for adding a sound bar.

I would buy this soundbar for my bedroom but here in New Zealand cost more than double than over there for some reason which I would prefer to go for a more premium one. Good review thou, looks good too

Great sound bar. Sounds excellent. Very clear. It’s loud enough but you probably won’t win many sound off competitions as I believe the sound bar and subwoofer are rated at 60 watts each. Awesome bang for your buck but probably not loud enough to piss off your Neighbors.

I just bought this model from my co-worker today for $30 and in brand new condition. He gets lot of stuff from his son due to him working at an electronics store and getting discounts. I'm loving it and when I play BF2042 it's amazing.

How do you get the sound bar to boot up into HDMI mode every time? On my Sony X90j it forces me to use the optical as a primary. It boots up a with two dots for optical. I have to press the TV button to switch to HDMI every time I wanna hear better sound.
I have an older Polk sound bar ,, this one sounds much better so I'll be getting one.
If my Cable box provides signal via HDMI to my TV, can I still use the ARC for the Polk for output?
What do you think of the Polk S3? I want to buy a soundbar for a small room in my house. In the living room i use the lg sk10y (or something like that). But for a small room i don't need that kind of sound

They had me when I saw the Polk logo on the right side of the sb 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 bought mines Black Friday from bestbuy 2018 and it’s still rockin!!! btw as of 10/16/23 here in vegas movie tix are $17 and large refillable popcorn w 2 large soda is $29.75 yeah I enjoy

No just , any one connection is req at a given time

I have this soundbar but every 330 am it turns on by itself everyday. And its very loud. So i just have to unplug everynight before going to sleep which is annoying when i watch the next day. How to stop this?

Hi It is the same power cord of the sound bar and the subwoofer I ask this because they gave me this sound system but it does not come with power cord they are 2 equal power cord

Bought one like it great value ,I do not listen to music through it to much. You will spend much more to beat it's sound and quality...it's a Polk folk....nuff said.

So your shelf is shallow, and the back of the soundbar is flush up against it and that's probably not what most people have. You have an additional surface loading: increased volume and bass that most people won't.
I own this sound bar and 1 acrivating thing is that the unit turns off automatically after a short time period
Great quality
If people don't like the bass you can always tune the bass box with polyfill, add or remove by stuffing the box with more or less of it. Super easy to do. I don't see anyone doing this. 😏
The Polk S2 may not work with your TV unless you can use the optical link, the HDMI may not.

Then been around for a good while , is an American brand but you know like apple, but they were more focused on auto audio , and live music band equipment, they just started getting in the home audio , I have one it works very good

Polk is always hit or miss with everything. Guess that's the nature of the beast when dealing w/ these entry level Chinese products

I was given a Sound Bar for Christmas but it only works on my edroom TV and that's right above my nieces room so I hlcan't be blasting Movie theater experiences with it. :(
Just the voice audio alone makes it worth the 2 hundred for me, for some reason the other sounds always seem to drown out the voices. That always sucks.
