- Thanks for checking out the video! We are selling our airplane. N89523 is a 1946 Cessna 140 for sale near Duluth, MN. We have used it for time building and it has been an excellent and beautiful plane to own. Now that we are no longer time building, it is time for our plane to find a new home!

Thanks for sharing. Around 1957 I joined the Civil Air Patrol as a cadet. One of the first planes I flew in while serving in the CAP was a Cessna 140. What fond memories.
looks like it needs another top overhaul with those comp numbers
Back in the seventies i flew my solo all the way to my ppl in a 140. I also got spin training in the 140. A very honest airplane and fun to fly.!

I got my tailwheel endorsement in a C-140. Fun airplane! I was spoiled though, it had an O-290 engine.
Now that sounds like fun! I bet it reduces the useful load though. I've loved flying the 100 series Cessna tailwheels (haven't flown a 195...yet!) and the 140 is no exception. I feel refreshed after each flight.

Good for you. You dodged the pterodactyl Cessna kamikaze experience. I must admit that I hate everything Cessna, Lycoming and Continental RIP Tango Juliet.
