- We took a breakfast flight to Sebring and had to dodge the late morning showers on the way home. Leaving Sebring we got to see some of the race cars on the track.

Very nice Flight! I am amazed by your wife’s participation in the Flight. My wife is absolutely terrified, and I’ve been trying to get her more involved with the flight itself. So from that standpoint, this was definitely inspiring. Fly well!
@@RusscanFLY thanks Russ. She really wants to be more involved with being part of the crew and not just riding along. She likes that flight companion book I got for her that helps her to understand all the things she can help do. It’s free for AOPA members so maybe it can help get your wife more involved. I took my youngest niece to lunch at the Sebring airport. Nice FBO and restaurant. Such a beautiful day we ate on the patio. Cute little downtown.
It is a great FBO and restaurant. It was a little to hot for us to sit on the patio and eat but that is on my list since it faces the runway.
Just did my first training xc flight from KFMY-KSEF. Very quiet airport. Next time I'll have to stop at the FBO. Great video.
@@jimciot glad you liked the video. It’s a great airport that is very quiet and has a great FBO and restaurant. Make sure you go when they are racing. It’s a great view to fly over that when they are racing
Great video. We are in the process of relocating to Central Florida from the Naples area. Sold my RV12 and will be plane shopping once we get situated. Sebring is always a fun destination for a breakfast flight. KAPF

So how was the Sebring restaurant foods? Pretty good last time Millie and I was there.
For an airport being as close as it is to me I have never been there before. That being said, I really enjoyed it there. The staff was very friendly, our food was delicious (I had the meat lovers omelet) and the service was very fast. The FBO is clean and the fuel is cheap ($4.89 /gal for 100LL) and there is a race course. What more could you ask for.

How does the icy breeze work. How much does it help
It’s a cooler that works like an AC unit. Not a swamp cooler but actually flows chilled water over a modified condenser. It helps Justin a lot. Honestly I think if I had tinted windows and left my window closed , it would help a lot more but you can definitely feel the difference. I think the fan needs to be faster which is why we put that little fan on the end of the house. The air coming out is 37 degrees so it’s definitely cold
