We named him Sapphire.
He is an adult dog about 2 years old . He was appeared at the streets a few days before we got informed. The collar that he had around his neck with two ropes tied on it makes us think that he was tied somewhere and when he got sick his family abandoned him.
Very close to the area we found him is a neighborhood that gypsy people live .. Just saying..
A lot of scenarios in our mind .. We will never know his past...
Of course he had no microchip.

i know right!? for me animal abusers are worse than people that kill other humans! animals are completely helplessly at our mercy, a human at least can TALK to try and find a way out of a bad situation (not that i condone human killers at all, just saying!;)

What a GREAT dog! He's happy, has a HANDSOME smile, he's smart and gentle and everything good! I cant wait for him to get a GREAT home with someone that deserves him!
Wow! I really wish I could own him becuz he would be shown plenty of love and affection from me!! But unfortunately with me being on disability, I can barely afford my own medical care let alone the necessary vet bills associated with owning a dog....ho hummmm....very heavy sigh.....I hope that he finds a good home with people who'll love him ALOT!!
@@barbwhitcomb8395 I give you credit!👍 So many people adopt a dog and don't even think about or care about their future medical care costs. They simply keep the dog while it's healthy and then dump it or take it to a rescue when it gets sick. I'm sure we both realize that's why so many of the dogs on the street that DAR and others rescue have untreated medical issues. It makes me so angry that people do such things!🤬 They wouldn't dump their kids, so why do they dump their dogs!😡
Me too I love this small dog, whose left eye is light blue, and his right eye is brown. And he is calm, friendly, lovely nature. I have a cat who had been born in the street some 8 years ago, and i love her, she is my adopted child. Cats are good pets, they move less than dogs, don't need outside walks, are clean and quiet inside. Yes, the vet bills may be heavy for the low income people, but my cat is healthy so far. She is very picky, we offer her 10 different kinds of kibbles and 10 kinds of soft cat food, which she tastes only, but we spend a lot to please her. She is self confident, trusts us and sleeps often on my chest. I am a senior. OK, so, I would suggest to Barb to have a cat. But I love this dog here.
He doesn't want to go out in the streets again when leaving the wet, he is a smart dog. 💝🌹🥰

He looked a little I uneasy when walking around outside because I think he was afraid he was going to be abandoned again. Poor little guy. I'm so glad you rescued him and are providing a safe place for him to be treated and given food and water, as well as a soft bed to sleep on. This is a lovely little friendly doggy. He is small, so thin that he must have been starving in the street, and his left eye is light blue, and his right eye is brown. Very cute. He is a lovely home doggy for a person who will deserve him for a cute companion. Thank you Ermioni for helping this dear little dog.

One just knows that this beautiful dog was abused before he was abandoned; he cowered when he saw the leash. I do hope we get a follow up on his future advancement. His Angel came to save him, as she does so many animals. Bless you forever, Ermione. :)
Poor little dog, he had been neglected for a while before he was abandoned in the streets. He's so cute but so thin. First thing first: Off to the vet! This is what I appreciate the most about DAR because it's important to find out about a dog's health condition to better help him and, if he were sick or contagious, he wouldn't give it to the others at the shelter. He keeps on smiling knowing he' s safe and well cared for. His future is bright thanks to Ermioni and DAR.

A very sweet natured, quiet, submissive dog. A very convenient size. Most people with bad backs would have no problem occasionally picking up. Short haired, easy care.
Perfect little dog. Would suit me, if ancient AND I wasn't snowed under with rescues myself - and in Australia!
I so hope someone sees how perfect he is, to have as a pet. Hopefully with another dog who would love a quiet buddy to hang about with.
I want every dog to find a great home, and some you take because you have a big heart and can see a great need - but even though it is true for this dog, this dog will be a wonderful companion. You aren't just giving him a loving forever home for life, YOU are getting a great dog companion. What he has and can give, is so valuable.

You rescue a treasure, here. Or really, are lucky enough to be able to adopt a perfect little companion dog, that someone was so nastily twisted, they couldn't see.
At least he didn't seem badly traumatised or expecting beatings.
I really hope his worth is recognised and he is adopted, quickly.
I hope one day, to see video of him chewing a bone, in a warm, lovely house, taking walks in beautiful woods, playing in streams, with a dog buddy.
Will never understand how people can be so cruel. If they couldn't keep him, why not just bring him to a shelter and surrender him. Leaving him on the street like that.......... At least he was found and now is with you. Such a sweet little fella.
