Nicely done! Question for ya, I want to put a front Hitch receiver on my 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2, I know the skid plate has to be modified, but what curt hitch receiver would fit this vehicle? Is the chassis a Silverado 1500?
I assume that if you mount one of these, you probably cant mount a snow plow as well? I have an 07 silverado - looks like this mount and the snow plow mounts attach to the same spot of the frame.
Actually, if your plow mounts into a 2-inch receiver it works just fine. However, if your plow uses a two point mounting system like the K2 plows then the receiver will be in the way of mounting this up.
Need Front 2" hitch for 1999 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4WD ? Do you have any info (Brand/ Product number/SKU) on compatible hitch for this 4 Runner. Great video Thank you.
Hi Matt, for the purpose of video we do all of our installs on a lift. The front hitch should not take very long on the ground. Very simple install. www.realtruck.com/curt-front-mount-receiver-hitch/
Playing around with thin springy metal wire and no safety glasses! Looks like accident waiting to happened. 5K rated hitch and held on by 4 half-inch bolts? Don’t think so, but thanks for the video
+Brad Andre The wire was only used to pull the bolt through the front of the trucks frame to provide a mounting point for the front hitche. After that we discarded the wire. Thank you and let me know if you have any other questions.
You left off all the swearing! LOL
Do you have this for a 2017 explorer?
dang the fish wire trick! 1st time I've seen that for a bolt on a chassis.
If you had help it's a lot easier.... Really 2 guys laying down fighting to get it done ✅.
And don't forget that they will be learning new words!
would this fit on the 2012 ford escape?

Must have edited out the new curse words that was invented during installation. It must have been truly simple!

Do you make them for a 1999 F350 4x4 6.8?
Gene, we do! You can find them here, realtruck.com/p/curt-front-mount-receiver-hitch/v/ford/f350/1999/.
“It’s that easy!” Ok, now show us how easy it is when the truck isn’t on a lift, and you have regular ratchets.

I don't know about easy.
Why do need front mount hitch
youtube it why? :)
For rapid rearward trailer towing. For mounting SOME snow blades. For a front step. For a hook so you can apply huge amounts of pul to become unstuck.
