I think it’s hard to say if something is “worth it” when we purchased them years ago for less. If you’re new to the brand and lusting after a certain item to add to the closet, it’s probably “worth it”. Value is something that is different to everyone. Which is pretty cool. Things are only “worth” what someone is willing to pay.
Completely agree with you! It really does boil down to each person's individual taste and what they really love love and what they're willing to spend.

I see what you're saying about the pochette being a good "accent piece" (that may be the phrase you're looking for as it's not an eye catching statement piece). I've always loved the ebene alma, but once the price hit $1400 I figured I was priced out. There are too many other bags that I feel ARE worth it for me to grab the Alma first
I wouldn’t buy the Goyard St. Louis tote as an alternative to the Neverfull. The Goyard tote isn’t meant to hold a whole lot to carry around everywhere. The Goyard site says it was originally designed as a beach bag. Reverse it and it can hold wet things at the end of the day. The bag itself is unlined. Since it is meant to be reversible it’s very pliable which doesn’t necessarily bode well for throwing in your laptop and lugging it around campus. Amie from Chase Amie got one as a college graduation gift and it got thrashed. Minnie from Minks4all pointed out its beach bag origins. There are probably better alternatives at Goyard but I imagine the price point will be more comparable to the Neverfull or even more.
Another option instead of Neverfull is the Faure Le Page Daily Battle. I was originally planning on getting a neverfull before the price increase but I opted for the FLP instead and I don’t regret it. 🥰❤️

I bought the Pochette Accessories before the last price increase, and I’ve got to say I think it’s still worth it. I get a ton of wear out of it. It’s just so easy to wear. I have multiple crossbody straps and shorter straps. It’s super comfortable. Great for travel. Thanks for the video:)

Alma bb for me 😀Purchased the Ebene last year and the Epi at the current price and for me it’s would still be worth it up to 2.5k usd lol It doesn’t fit everybody’s style but for me it’s so cute, durable, classic and versatile and the quality is pretty good.
See I personally love the Alma bb soo much so I think it's worth it BUT for other people I would recommend them to use that money towards a more "practical" crossbody. A couple of my friends have the Alma and they definitely don't love it as much as I do bahaha

I completely agree with you on the LV Neverfull MM, it’s just not worth $2K+. Period. I got mine in May 2021 for $1520 and in less than a year it’s gone up $500+, it’s crazy! Do I love it? Yes! Do I use it all the time? Yes! But still don’t think it’s worth it’s new price. I was planning to get the GM for travel but anymore. Don’t even get me started on the mini pochette 🙄 love the video!

I got the Mini pochette here in Texas a day before the Feb increase luckily but the PA is the one I really wanted and it's the one that got away😪. I now wanted just 3 items but with the new prices I wished I got all of them last year☹️.

I’ve also heard that the side flap bits are prone to cracking as well but I think it’s just a design issue there’s no way to prevent it other than to store your bag properly and keep it away from water so it doesn’t dry out!

I did finally get my first Chanel though. 👀 Preloved Chanel mini Gabrielle in a red tweed with dark blue leather. 😁 Been loving it more than I thought and it fits so much! So easy to use and style.
Pochette Accessories didn’t cost $910 in 2015. I bought mine in 2019 mid July and I paid around $550.
It is totally not worth it for the current price.
So, last year for my 24th birthday, I purchased the neverfull in the empriente leather, so I went to grab my recipet because, I haven't purchased another LV bag since then, I laid $2200 with tax, so I believe it was about 2080 or something like that, girl.... Do you know that this damn bag is $2700 now!!! 😭😭😭 Like, it hasn't even been a year. Like 8 months ! I had no idea that my bag went up that much. I don't think I would purchase it for that today lol.
