Thanks for your video. My tip on vachetta straps is to unbuckle them when you store them and to switch around what hole you use so you don’t get metal stains and too much creasing. Also clean out the metal buckle regularly to avoid rust

The monogram speedy 25. My mother is a single mom and it was my first bag she designer bag she purchased for me as a teen in the late 80's. It's my favorite. I also have the Alma ...and the Graceful. I love the classic look of mine and the history of my mother working tirelessly for me to have some of the finer things in life even though we weren't wealthy. I will never sell my bag and it was made much better than my other two that I purchased on my own. I love your collection!
My favorite LV is also an Alma small. My first LV bag. Will be 27 years old. I clean it with non scented no moisturizer baby wipes. So far it’s looks clean. I also have the MM bought it 2.5 years ago, quality is not the same. My 27 years old Alma is the best ever.
I currently own 9 Louie bags. Right now im in love with my Neo Noe & my PSM. I had my eyes on Alma Pm in monogram for the longest time but couldn't pull the trigger. The price point not too bad at all. When i was younger i used to own a few Coach in that exact same shape like the Alma lol & they were so so good to me. I’ve had my speedy 30 for more than 12 years and I wear it everyday as my work bag. I agree, it tends to get heavy if I stuff it. The only wear is on the bottom corners near the piping…The red interior is starting to show through. 😩 Such a bummer since the bag is perfect considering. I plan to take it to see if they can repair it. I also have the Eva Clutch in Damier Ebene and it’s in perfect condition because it’s my least used bag. 😏 I love Palm Springs mini now but after first I was regretting the purchase because it’s so small. But I find myself grabbing for it the most now. I’m on the ‘notify me’ list for the Alma BB in DE. Great list! Thanks for sharing. 💕

I was dead set on an alma bb in epi leather. But then I went to the store to try it on, a lot of things annoyed me about the bag. The strap was so long that when I wore it as a shoulder bag, it was hanging way past my hip, and I’m 5’6, so definitely not short. The strap was unadjustable, so I knew I would only be able to wear it crossbody without getting annoyed. Also, the bag feels so much smaller in person when I tried it on, and it didn’t fit as much as I would like. Lastly, most of the Epi options only have silver hardware, and I’m not the biggest fan of that either. I ended up leaving the store that day with a speedy b 25, after trying it, and it fit all the criteria I wanted that the alma did not, and I’m in love.
The speedy b25 (even though I don’t own it) is SUCH a great choice. And definitely more practical for everyday and will also go with everything! If I didn’t have my DE speedy 30 I would definitely go with the b25 no question. Congrats on your new bag 🥰

Lv monogram was made to darken, but it’s a bag that should darken. That was the intended result LV was thinking of. I love that you let your leather darken!

I love the side gussets); Vintage Montsouris Backpack (a classic, I love the brass ring on top); Monogram Pochette Accessoire (I finally found one by stalking the website-I’ve wanted this for ever. The perfect bag because it holds enough and is so easy to carry tucked in over my shoulder); Monogram Noe (a classic and a workhouse, this is the first bag I bought at the LV store; sizewise a little bigger than NF but easier to carry when full because of the wide strap)

Great collection ! Girl you can just take your NEVERFULL in to have all the vachetta replaced , there is no time frame for a repair ! Pretty sure you are able to have the interior redone also ! Just not sure if they will replace the original script interior with the flowers or if you would have to get the new style interior ! My Palm Springs mini has been my #1 go to for the past few weeks , I haven’t been able to put it down lol ! Thanks for sharing
Would recommend huggies pure baby wipes to get the light color back to its original color. My lv rep. Told be that's the secret to keeping or correcting the darkening.
About the DM Speedy 30 - Same girl same. First designer bag I own / bought for myself in 2008, it was about $800 cad tax in. Mine is also in prestine condition even though I used the heck out of it before because that's all I had. I also have the same sentiments as why it's still in my collection.
Love how detailed this video was! My most used LV is my Bumbag. I struggle with using my Speedy 30B because I feel like it's so big but I love how it has the strap. I've considered selling it but it's great for travel.

I have an alma bb in epi noir. I love that bag! ❤️😁 Use it all the time. Epi is so durable, and it has this very nice understated yet luxurious feel to it which is hard to describe if you haven't seen one in person.
@@beebee32002 epi is just cowhide leather which is textured. I have not owned a softer bag in epi like say a never full so I can’t speak to it being too stiff. I think alma bb and epi is a wonderful combo. Alma bb is structured in any material, and the shape is so classic, so epi elevates its look even more.
Oh my God yes my first bag was a speedy 30 in Damier Ebene and I paid $730 😂 in 2008 I think, I still have the receipt. Prices are so high now. I don’t used that bag but I will never get rid off 😍

Hi Maggie! I have the Eva Clutch and I love it. It does fit so much. As for your Vachetta on your Nano speedy. You can buy the Apple guard and spray all the Vachetta. It will protect it from water marks and dirt. So the Vachetta will age evenly. I do have a bandaue on my speedy. It looks so super cute. You should definitely add one to yours.
I love that eva clutch. Wish they still had it. My first LV bag was the Speedy B 25, got in 2015. The 30 was too big for my needs. But I love it. Still wear it today and looks great. Very practical as you say.

I have the Alma’s BB in the world tour monogram with black combination and absolutely love it! The DE alma just did not rub off on me and living in Melbourne Oz with unpredictable weather I just can’t bring myself to buy anything with that much vachetta in it. My 3 most used bags are my Alma, PA and YSL medium college. My daughter (teenage) most used bags are PSM and Felicie in black empriente (which she claimed from me 🤣).
OMG someone else who loves and appreciates the Totally! It’s my most used LV. It was my very first LV (Monogram in PM) and I have bought three more, all in MM (2 off fashionphile after it was discontinued). The buttery zipper plus the outside pockets make it the best! Water bottle, umbrella, anything fits in outside pockets when traveling. It’s my daily bag in DE. My huge phone fits completely in a side pocket, 6-ring key holder in the other…and at times they are both in one if I need the other pocket for water. I have 2 Speedy Bs (25 & a 30 in World Tour) a Petite Malle, a Saintonge,a Pochette Accessoires, and I just bought an Odeon PM for the phone pocket (which is the best part of the Totally LOL). ANYWAY, here is a suggestion for you: take that Eva strap to LV and ask for a replacement even if you have to buy it (it will be at a cheaper price). Perhaps say you’d like one in brown treated leather, like they sell for DE. Then you can put it on your Pochette to use crossbody! I bought an Eva strap for mine (full price because I never bought an Eva, which I regret). Anyway, I know the armpit bags are back in style, but I use my Pochette all the time crossbody when I need to travel light. It holds twice as much as my Petite Malle. And I carry Chanel Minis any time I go out with anyone for lunch or dinner. That Petite Malle was a crazy purchase but I do love looking at it!

just got the PSM as my first luxury bag and i was so shocked and disappointed on how inconsistent the bags are. i asked my SA to bring out at least 3 bags so i could get the best one but i still feel like it could’ve been better. i mean, i know they’re handmade and can’t be 100% perfect but if i’m gonna pay so much for a bag, i might as well get the best looking one while am at it, right? :( here are some things people from reddit told me to check for when getting the PSM, in case you’re gonna get one as well: 1. back stitching is centered with the monogram print 2. “Louis Vuitton” print on front pocket tab is readable and not crooked 4. four strap tabs (the first one that i got were already peeling when i got it 😬) 5. inner lining stitching (i saw videos where the inner cloth lining were NOT sewn in and it was just glued into the bag) 8. scarf loop holder thingy on the bottom of the bag (mine was SOOO crooked, the first time i got it so i had it exchanged) 9. top handle (i saw some in store that were so crooked, it’s hard not to notice 😢) 10. the overall shape of the bag (mine is still pretty asymmetrical but not super super bad) hope this helps in some way!! ❤️
I sold my Speedy 35 and 30 two months ago but kept my 25. I use my 25 as a top handle because she’s not to heavy and I can’t over stuff her but I didn’t use the 30 since 2019 and only used the 35 when driving and not walking far. I regret selling the 35 as she had the best canvas in my entire LV collection but I have a Noe GM, Saumur 35, and a GM backpack. However, I still regret selling her so much that I bought a Mulberry Oversized Alexa online. She’s slightly bigger than the 35 but she has the crossbody strap which means I’d get much more use out of her as a daily bag or when travelling. She’s been on my wish list for years since buying my original regular Alexa. Now I just need the mini Alexa and my Alexa family will be complete 😇

That’s how I feel about my speedy bags! I bought a strap on Amazon and I use it more than I use to. So maybe try buying a strap. They also sell them at LV but they’re expensive for a strap lol

When you started talking about the Alma BB I thought omg that was so me!! I bought it before I went to the beach thinking it was indestructible. I even wore it running in the rain and I regret it so much :(

I LOVVVVEEEEEE my Alma BB as well! It was my third LV and now I have the 3 classics, the Speedy Bandouliere 30 and my Neverfull MM.... I love them all ! As soon as I say that it is , no more, I get the bug to buy another- LOL..... we’ll see. I DO have a knockoff of a pouchette crossbody like the one the salespersons use in the LV stores . Great collection ! Girl you can just take your NEVERFULL in to have all the vachetta replaced , there is no time frame for a repair ! Pretty sure you are able to have the interior redone also ! Just not sure if they will replace the original script interior with the flowers or if you would have to get the new style interior ! My Palm Springs mini has been my #1 go to for the past few weeks , I haven’t been able to put it down lol ! Thanks for sharing

Would recommend huggies pure baby wipes to get the light color back to its original color. My lv rep. Told be that's the secret to keeping or correcting the darkening.

About the DM Speedy 30 - Same girl same. First designer bag I own / bought for myself in 2008, it was about $800 cad tax in. Mine is also in prestine condition even though I used the heck out of it before because that's all I had. I also have the same sentiments as why it's still in my collection.
Purchased Alma bb monogram ..in just few days i saw how the leather transformed to darker color..i just love it.

Love how detailed this video was! My most used LV is my Bumbag. I struggle with using my Speedy 30B because I feel like it's so big but I love how it has the strap. I've considered selling it but it's great for travel.

I have an alma bb in epi noir. I love that bag! ❤️😁 Use it all the time. Epi is so durable, and it has this very nice understated yet luxurious feel to it which is hard to describe if you haven't seen one in person.

@@beebee32002 epi is just cowhide leather which is textured. I have not owned a softer bag in epi like say a never full so I can’t speak to it being too stiff. I think alma bb and epi is a wonderful combo. Alma bb is structured in any material, and the shape is so classic, so epi elevates its look even more.

Oh my God yes my first bag was a speedy 30 in Damier Ebene and I paid $730 😂 in 2008 I think, I still have the receipt. Prices are so high now. I don’t used that bag but I will never get rid off 😍

Hi Maggie! I have the Eva Clutch and I love it. It does fit so much. As for your Vachetta on your Nano speedy. You can buy the Apple guard and spray all the Vachetta. It will protect it from water marks and dirt. So the Vachetta will age evenly. I do have a bandaue on my speedy. It looks so super cute. You should definitely add one to yours.
I love that eva clutch. Wish they still had it. My first LV bag was the Speedy B 25, got in 2015. The 30 was too big for my needs. But I love it. Still wear it today and looks great. Very practical as you say.

I have the Alma’s BB in the world tour monogram with black combination and absolutely love it! The DE alma just did not rub off on me and living in Melbourne Oz with unpredictable weather I just can’t bring myself to buy anything with that much vachetta in it. My 3 most used bags are my Alma, PA and YSL medium college. My daughter (teenage) most used bags are PSM and Felicie in black empriente (which she claimed from me 🤣).
OMG someone else who loves and appreciates the Totally! It’s my most used LV. It was my very first LV (Monogram in PM) and I have bought three more, all in MM (2 off fashionphile after it was discontinued). The buttery zipper plus the outside pockets make it the best! Water bottle, umbrella, anything fits in outside pockets when traveling. It’s my daily bag in DE. My huge phone fits completely in a side pocket, 6-ring key holder in the other…and at times they are both in one if I need the other pocket for water. I have 2 Speedy Bs (25 & a 30 in World Tour) a Petite Malle, a Saintonge,a Pochette Accessoires, and I just bought an Odeon PM for the phone pocket (which is the best part of the Totally LOL). ANYWAY, here is a suggestion for you: take that Eva strap to LV and ask for a replacement even if you have to buy it (it will be at a cheaper price). Perhaps say you’d like one in brown treated leather, like they sell for DE. Then you can put it on your Pochette to use crossbody! I bought an Eva strap for mine (full price because I never bought an Eva, which I regret). Anyway, I know the armpit bags are back in style, but I use my Pochette all the time crossbody when I need to travel light. It holds twice as much as my Petite Malle. And I carry Chanel Minis any time I go out with anyone for lunch or dinner. That Petite Malle was a crazy purchase but I do love looking at it!
Oh the Alma bb is my most fave LV bag. I have it in DE and recently got the neo alma bb as well. I would also like to add an epi one in pink or that new caramel color. Second fave is the bumbag 😍.

just got the PSM as my first luxury bag and i was so shocked and disappointed on how inconsistent the bags are. i asked my SA to bring out at least 3 bags so i could get the best one but i still feel like it could’ve been better. i mean, i know they’re handmade and can’t be 100% perfect but if i’m gonna pay so much for a bag, i might as well get the best looking one while am at it, right? :(
here are some things people from reddit told me to check for when getting the PSM, in case you’re gonna get one as well:
1. back stitching is centered with the monogram print
2. “Louis Vuitton” print on front pocket tab is readable and not crooked
4. four strap tabs (the first one that i got were already peeling when i got it 😬)
5. inner lining stitching (i saw videos where the inner cloth lining were NOT sewn in and it was just glued into the bag)
8. scarf loop holder thingy on the bottom of the bag (mine was SOOO crooked, the first time i got it so i had it exchanged)
9. top handle (i saw some in store that were so crooked, it’s hard not to notice 😢)
10. the overall shape of the bag (mine is still pretty asymmetrical but not super super bad)

Yeah LV is not worth the price to me anymore
I sold my Speedy 35 and 30 two months ago but kept my 25. I use my 25 as a top handle because she’s not to heavy and I can’t over stuff her but I didn’t use the 30 since 2019 and only used the 35 when driving and not walking far. I regret selling the 35 as she had the best canvas in my entire LV collection but I have a Noe GM, Saumur 35, and a GM backpack. However, I still regret selling her so much that I bought a Mulberry Oversized Alexa online. She’s slightly bigger than the 35 but she has the crossbody strap which means I’d get much more use out of her as a daily bag or when travelling. She’s been on my wish list for years since buying my original regular Alexa. Now I just need the mini Alexa and my Alexa family will be complete 😇

You can use those 2 small LV bags for your cosmetics and you can link the chain thru the strap.
Alma is one of my favorite LV bag is the Alma as well! I want the mono! I have Alma pm in the DE and Alma BB in the Epi leather. Love the nano bag as well. I just recently got the multi Pochette and omg on how much I love ❤️ it.? Great video.
That’s how I feel about my speedy bags! I bought a strap on Amazon and I use it more than I use to. So maybe try buying a strap. They also sell them at LV but they’re expensive for a strap lol
