I knew this one would “knock your socks off”… best tenor on the planet! David moves me also and his voice saved me from some dark times. I have seen him in concert a few times and at 53 years of age, he still brings the house to their feet! Phenomenal! Can you believe this was taped love in 2000. He had recorded so many wonderful contemporary Christian songs and a few secular songs and he is in his 50's now and is still the best tenor on the planet. To get you motivated, try reacting to his "NO MORE NIGHT", "THE END OF THE BEGINNING" AND "WE SHALL BEHOLD HIM" . What a genuine beautiful reaction. I watch this over and over and never cease to be moved by it - goosebumps, tears, almost takes your breath away - I agree - once I heard David sing this song - no-one else will ever be able to sing it. He is annointed, his voice is straight from God. And he is so humble.
There are so many wonderful songs and performances by David, and he is amazing in all of them. He is doing more secular stuff now, but I still love the older Christian performances. All his songs from Freedom and all with the Gaithers.

I truly believe that God opened the windows of heaven and a lot of this song to pour out into this man and into this place. I believe it was a true visitation of the anointing of the holy Spirit. I mean, we often times compare a female singer--Alison Krouse for example--to sounding like an angel, BUT in the Holy Bible whenever we read about an Angel, they are ALWAYS male.
