- Migaloo Private Luxury Submarine - Meet Migaloo, the world’s most expensive private luxury submarine. This submarine is absolutely huge, measuring over 377 feet long by 36 feet wide, the submarine is anything but small. It bears the appearance of a traditional submarine in most aspects but the tower is custom designed in order to house a staircase and elevator shaft.
The enormous space of the aft deck includes lounge areas, sun beds, a bar, an 8 by 3 meter-pool as well as a heli-pad. When Migaloo is submerged, all furniture is stored underneath the granite decking and the pool bottom rises to form a flush deck.

They have to test a submarine with a lot of plexiglass. If it leaks at a depth of 700 the pressure might force that leakage wider and sink everything crew and all, so they’re most likely also going to perform by most people standards extensive testing.

Do you think that the owners would need to know in advance if people could handle going under water for long periods of time or even just diving to the depths of the seabed?? probably the same way you prepare to take a cruise on a super yacht, planning. you can't simply take the boat out for the day, you need to have enough fuel, food, drinks on board, a crew. and know your destination, if you plan to sail to another country you will need passports etc.

Probably won't. For that amount of money you can buy a surface yacht twice the size. Far more showy. People buying these things are doing it purely for show. The vast majority of yacht owners only ever board when their yacht is tied up at a yacht show. Cruising to different moorings is what their crew does.
