- How to change the region settin from USA market to EU or from any market to any other market basically on all Volvo cars + how to activate navigation on all Volvo P3 cars with Sensus Connect (typpicaly MY2015 - 2018).
I made these changes:
Instrument cluster X Europe (km)
Frequency band and step radio X Europe (100kHz FM)
Belt reminder X EU type
CCM unit setting X Temp: deg. C, Clock: 24 h, Distance: km, Fuel Consumption: Liter/km
Service distance X 15000 km
System default language X CZ Czech
Language region X Europe
DVD region X Region 2 - EU, Japan
Navigation system X Enabled
Navi map regions (Sensus Connect) X Europe
Traffic Message Channel X RTTI + TMC FM
Speed limitation X 250km/h (160mph)
Screen skins X DIM: R-design ICM: Volvo logo

after changing market from US to EU, do I need to download eu maps?
what about the SPA platform? will it also work for XC90 2021, for example? the same list of things.
I've got a VDash subscription and also have a cable that connects to the car perfectly.
Sad, that the prices of Vdash are sky high
The problem is that the dice unit is more expensive than having a dealer activate navigation
Can you do a video on the IHU engineering mode? Looks really interesting to see what is available to change in there. E.g equalizer settings?? Also curious if there is anything similar for cars that do not have Sensus if you happen to know?
sure, but if I remember good, there is no audio setting
@@D5T5_com There's 7.8 and 7.9 Audio and EQ parameter settings visible in your video at 7:37 ;) But I have never heard of this engineering mode until I saw this video so I'm curious of the menus overall.

@@D5T5_com Hi, Could you do an introduction video of Vdash Lite (Free version) and how it can be used - after all most of the viewers here are regular enthusiasts not dealers or diagnostic companies. So it would be good to see what options it offers and how the paid extra services work for free version (for example cost of AUD reload process, cost of MOST (ITP) protection off process, cost of Config change, etc
Im personally interested in doing some config changes in a 2010 XC70 without Sensus - changing trip computer to extended trip computer, changing amplifier from high performance to Premium Sound, enabling center speaker and subwoofer option, etc. Would be good to see if these are possible to do for regular user before buying Vida.
This does not work. You need Vdash Pro for this action sadly I cannot add photo I took when trying my V40 2015. Nothing is possible to do in car configuration without Pro. Worthless

Hi Ladislav 08. 04. 2020 16:56:33 try to change region US/EU on V60 CC 2015 YV4612HK0F1000640, and its gone bad with mistakes, then reboot again and try to change only miles to kilometrs.finished Ok but oll credits out. Now cant change service time, language, service remider, dvd and etc. Please assist. No one answer me on vdash support page.

Is it possible to update sensus to the new version? Here in the US, my 15 V60 has the old version of sensus 15.5 received the updated version.

Made as shown here. Radio works. All good. But stopped working voice control, language change for radio unit (for dashboard works), and sms in phone. What could be wrong?

This is what I need to do to my s60. Change mph to kmph.... volvo dealer in Ireland quoted me €550!
Volvo in Ireland quoted me €350. VDash is priced at €189 which I think is a ridiculous price just to change from mph to kph. I didn't find out about this charge until after I'd bought a win 7 laptop and vida/dice unit. These videos and the trial say nothing about a charge. I'll just stick to mph in this car.
