- Did I make something cute out of the fluorescent pink orange shirt? I'll let you be the judge of that!

The fleece sweater turned out cute!
Tip for cat bed stuffing cut up your left over scraps from projects 1 through 10 no waste! This makes the bed goed and sturdy.
Great idea! Thank you!
Love how your refashion turned out, just adorable. Extending the gore up past the armhole is such a fantastic idea. You're absolutely brilliant.
Can't wait to put them into some of my tops that I've outgrown due to my taste for Krispy Kreme donuts. It's a win/win. I'll get to wear cute new tops and eat dessert....life is good.
Thank you and it is hard to resist a Krispy Kreme that is for sure so I completely understand. Glad I could help.
The sweater looks so much better, and the hat is fun. I loved the melon story.
Thank you so much!
It's like a sweatshirt only 10 times better! Nice upcycle.
Thank you!
The applique on the front is lovely. Underarm sleeve gussets are a historical technique I am familiar with, but it never occurred to me to make one into a side gore. I really like how it looks.
I guess you could stuff a cat bed with fabric scraps ( I've seen footstool / poufs? done that way) but it makes for a hard surface not a comfy one.
I did think about scraps but I don't think they'd wash and dry well plus like you said, not be as soft.
Hi have to widen my blouses like that all the time because in my senior years my spine has compressed, and I am thick in the middle. I use a complementary fabric. It is very fun to do. Your applique on the front is very fun and makes it so special.
Thank you so much and I"m so sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your spine.
I Upcycled something similar once. I believe I used plain cotton in addition to the nitted fabric. If you then do the bottom hem with a zigzag stitch, the fabric will create a very nice kind of ruffle without you having to do anything else. So that the cotton I added immediately folded in line with the other fabric
I might have to do something like that. I have seen people on Etsy use a serger to intentionally make it wave and use it that way. I just have never done it so I'm a bit nervous. I hope this one isn't a fail. I do expect to fail some of the challenges but hope to complete them all.
I love how the hat looks...I never thought about putting elastic in, I also have a small head size. Thanks for sharing this "fix"
Thank you and I was surprised myself how much I liked it. Glad it blessed you!
Love the pink top, great save on the hat. For the pink knit top, cut off sleeves down the sides and a bit under the front stripes, now add back sides with sleeves from a soft shirt, this can upsize a lot, now add tiers to bottom to create a “babydoll” type top hard to describe, but I think it would be so cute! 15:38
Thank you! It sounds lovely. How adventurous I get will depend upon whether my walking foot arrives in time...ha ha
@@SherryJonesDesigns I have a walking foot but don’t use it because for some reason the way it attaches to my machine it wants to unscrew itself and it a real pita. I just use a zig zag stitch and that seems to work.
Very funny, they took directions literally.
Make large baby head bows. Love your channel!!!
I really love what you did with the sweat shirt, so cute!
Love your last transformation and the expanding method at the side is such a brilliant idea. When you held up the arms my first instinct was leg warmers. Great these days for teens with growing pains. Sorry but no idea for the rest of the garment. X
Thank you!
My little sister had to do that to her wedding dress, when she discovered that she was pregnant, four months before the wedding…!
It worked and looked lovely.
Afterwards she would jokingly advise her friends to just get married instead of delaying it and saving up for a more expensive wedding - she wished she’d gone cheaper because a baby turned out expensive!!!
That is so funny. Hind sight really often is 20/20. Thank you for sharing.
Ha ha! Your last episode was also 9, so that's two episode 9s! LOL Love the flower design on the pinky-orange top, it's so cute!
Thank you for pointing that out. I went and even checked my videos to be sure I had the right number. Getting old is just no fun.....lol..
Retro cute. Well done, Sherry!
So much better than a cat bed!!❤🎉
Put wax or parchment paper under the dog feed it will slide smoothly with out stretching.
I'll have to give it a try. Also, a satin foot might help I think. I'm going to see what I can figure out.
I like the way you sized up under the arms.
That is super cute and looks great on you 🩷💚
Thank you!!
That ribbed top is cute as is, but so tiny!
Could you make some twisted headbands? Also, wrist warmer/fingerless gloves?
I may have to. I did find a cute plaid in my stash to go with it so we'll see. I will work on it today.
Yes you did a good job of upcycling.
Thank you!
If you have bias tape or interfacing or anything like that, make it into half inch strips to use along seams of the difficult fabric. It will stabilize it, but it will also bulk it up . The best product to use would be a soluble stabilizer. Good luck with this one! I got nothing.
Thank you! This could be a tough one!
I love your stories and yes, I like to live a simple life. Wish you were my neighbor. Thank you for the video.
Thank you so much! Good neighbors are so precious. I'm honored that you wish I was yours!
Awe, it's pretty 🌸 Your idea was great!🎉
Thank you! 😊
Very cute! I think this is sellable!
Thank you! 😊
Very cute !
It’s very cute
I think it is cute also. It works. Great job. Turn it into a top, or dress, or leg warmers..
Nice job shirt is cute. But they did water each melon. . .tfs 😊
My mom helped them and showed them what she meant after she saw what they did.
I had a brother who would have followed the directions just as literally. Once again her.
very cute
I love it! Well done!❤
Thank you! 😄
Its darling
