We just bought this set. And I can’t figure out how to do a spin only cycle. They talk in the manual about steps to take, telling you not to select a cycle first but go directly to that button. But other sections of manual say you can’t bypass the cycle option. I got stuck with a sweaters that wouldn’t spin out so I had to wring out and manually empty tub. First day with it. Hoping you see this. Thank you in advance.
Owners manual says (page 27): Spin Only - Use this option to spin clothes and drain the water from the tub. 1. Press the Power button to turn on the washer. Do not select a cycle. 2. Press and hold the Spin button for 3 seconds. You can change the spin speed by pressing the Spin button. 3. Press the Start/Pause button to begin.
Jessica, thanks for posting. How are you liking the washer now that it is 2 yrs old? I just lived a nightmare with Speed Queen. had one machine (AWNE92SP113) die after only 8-9 yrs and the replacement SP didn't last 2 days. Sis has an LG. Originally owned a front loader, hated it and got a top load LG. Hers is no longer made (bought same year I began my SP nightmare and hers is still going strong, no service calls to date). It has the impeller. I am interested in one with agitator though. Do your clothes get clean? Wrinkled to death? The SP TR7003WN didn't wash or spin clothes correctly. Made a horrible noise. And I have learned ALL Speed Queens are energy hogs - both water and power. I am trying to see if maybe LG is the right fit? I miss my KENMORE- 27 yrs. 3 moves.
That's not agitating, it's spinning water out. The actual agitation is very strange, it spends alot of time leveling the clothes then fills and agitates a little, then alot, then a little. Very weird
How/where is the filter? I have washed a lot of baby clothes with some food stuck on them...and sometimes I see little pieces in the washer. Where/how does the little crumbs get filtered out and how can I clean the filter? Thank you so so much!
I was wondering if you can adjust the water level. Sometimes I just have a few items and the washers use too much water. Also, I wanted to see the controls. Thanks.
@@jessicagreinke8358 The water level can be adjusted by 1. Using Deep Fill Cycle, 2. Pressing the Deep Fill Button (on most cycles), or 3. Press the Deep Fill button for 3 seconds for maximum water level (more than regular Deep Fill setting).

OK so I'm still trying to figure out the spin only. But if you want to soak it only there is a button all the way to the right and it says delayed wash/soak do you wanna hold it down for three seconds until you hear a beep end it will delay the wash and soak your clothes
Is it still loud, or leveled now? Has that made a difference in noise level? Are you still satisfied with this LG washer? I'm on the fence about getting this model, & so far there's only 2 video reviews.
No no no, I still have my Frigidaire Gallery Washer and Maytag Washer for 20+ years. I can wash a load of clothes in 15 minutes and have them dried in another 20 to 30 minutes. I've been looking at new washers for the last 4 years. I can not find anything that out performs my old $200 washer, and never had to repair it. It's only a 3 Cu top load washer and have been looking at 4+ cu. No current washer has convince me to go their way for washing clothes for 45+ minutes. I think washer brands have turned cleaning into a scam. My washer is a drop and wash washer, no waiting for a computer to figure out what... clothes capacity and weight; So laughable.
From what I read in the description on the H.D. website, you can have it add more water. I like it when I can control the water level and add less water, but I don't think the modern washing machines can do that anymore. I got a good deal on a 4.1 cu LG over the holiday. I'm hoping it's better than the old Whirlpool I'm replacing. The Whirlpool doesn't have the agitator and I really didn't care much for it. I missed my old Kenmore with the agitator, that I left go when we had to sell our old house. :( With my old Kenmore, I could adjust the water level to what I wanted it set at for each load. The Whirlpool, I couldn't adjust at all. It claimed to know, but it always put lots of water in the drum no matter how much clothes were in it. My Whirlpool is finally on its last leg and has a barring problem, so it sounds like an airplane taking off and moves all around all over the place.
Don't plan to do that, it balances the clothes first before it washes. If you add more, they won't be balanced. You need to use it as intended for the best result.
Try and evenly distribute the added clothes in the tub, but if you are using deep wash setting (for extra water) it probably helps prevent any unbalance problems.
Yes. I leave the lid up on my LG washer for a few hours after each use. And also, you can pull the detergent tray completely out and dry it out if you wish, but I personally do not usually do that. Very happy with this model. When it is in the spin cycle it does vibrate the washer a small amount, but it is completely level and does not move on the tile floor. Very quiet operation overall! Matching LG dryer works very well too. I probably did not have to buy the extended five year warranty. But if never used, after five years, I can get 1/3 of the premium paid refunded.
Thank you for this. Was researching and was on the fence on this one but now seeing this and how it works has made my mind up.
Yes I really like it! Seems to get my clothes clean just fine and it actually agitates! Which I like a lot! So far so good!

I am still liking it! Cleans my clothes really well and haven't had any issues with it. Clothes are pretty dirty (i have a messy 8 year old)

Turn your washing machine on tub clean to let it clean itself without anything inside it
Can you show us how it agitates again lol
I was thinking the same thing. Oh so that's how you agitate it right
@@Mike-jk7do agitate something lol
Does it fit king size pretty well? Mine is tiny and it takes 3-4 loads to wash a king size bed set.

Not that i have seen no. The auto fill spins and levels to see how much water you need

Where is the lint trap on this washing machine?
Can you show how to run a short cycle? Like 15 minutes
Hi! if I just need to rinse and spin the laundry, is there such a function?
On page 28 of Owners Manual:
Rinse+Spin
Select this option to rinse and spin a load separately from a regular cycle. This can be helpful in preventing fresh stains from setting in fabrics.
1 Press the Power button to turn on the washer.
• Do not select a cycle.
2 Press and hold the Delay Wash button for 3 seconds.
• You can change the spin speed by pressing the Spin button.
3 Press the Start/Pause button to begin.
This machine does not spin out very well. I wish there was a way to do a spin only or soak only. Do you have any tips?

Also wanted to say that if it's not spinning out properly it might be because of the load is off-balance I found that to
On Page 27 of the Owners Manual (and as I described in a comment above) it shows how to do a spin only. You can also do rinse and spin only (page 28).
Usually you either hold down spin or when you power on the machine, hit spin
Hi, the lid have 2-3 positions ? Or just comes to close at once?
I got last Sunday, i used it the same day. Today I need to do laundry and it doesn't want to turn on at all
I am so sad.
O no! Contact the company!!

Tell me your favorite washing mode, for a full load and a small load?
I always use Deep Fill, or use some other cycle and hit the Deep Fill button in right side. Otherwise the amount of water is too low IMO.
I always use the "speed cycle" and if I need more water I pause it and hold down deep fill button for 3 seconds and it levels its self
Sounds noisy. Does it just spin the clothes in a circle? Can it fill with more water?

if i add clothes after the wash has started will if bounce all over the place like my roper washer dearing the spin cycle?
If its not balanced yes! If you hit the little button on the side that says deep fill for 4 seconds this usually helps me

Hoy can Select only wash le only rinse , how much water does It fill??
I haven't been able to figure that out yet so i just do quick cycle. Will try to figure it out more

Is it normal to have water residue in the auto dispenser tray after each wash?
Mine does but doesn't seem to be a problem.

It doesn't dispense the soap, it shoots water through it, that's why
