As an electrician, I would not wire the negatives like that. I would do what you did to the positive, splice them all together, then put them all in a screw on wire cap with one wire sticking out, wire that to the switch (neutral) then wire that to a battery, make sure it’s the correct voltage or that the lights a dimmable. Then wire the hot the same way, except skip the switch and go into to the battery. I like dealing with 12v. Get a an 8 AA battery holder. If you get 2 and wire them correctly, you can either double the voltage, in this case I wouldn’t, or double the amperage, which I would do. Just my 2 cents. Thanks. Oh also I would use silicon covered wire. That’s what I like to use. For this, use something like 16, 18, or 20 gauge wire. And get them in the correct colors. Not bare copper and white. Red for neutral and black for hot. ALSO please don’t solder the neutral to the switch. Please crimp it like you’re suppose to do
agreed.. though this is DC so black should be neutral. and it looked like the copper wire was enameled.. though I think it should still be done like you described. that's how I've always done it. my 2 cents. you should also put some resisters on there.

Are those led strips 7 of them are connected in serial or parallel? One strip has 12 leds of 4v each..so per strip 48v .. How you are maintaining constant current? Seems like no resistor used. Source voltage seems 3.7 to 4.2 as 3 battery are connected in parallel, source current seems 2+2+2=6 Amp. I m new, sorry of my question is basic. If you reply, it helps a lot. If constant current is not maintained then led may burn out or doesn't last long so asked
