@toddg4228 Do u have a video link of how to install it? I'm having this same issue on my 99 cherokee xj sport. I jist fixed the clockspring, now gotta open it back up because I only have one setting for lights and I'm not even sure if it's low or high beam, but the highbeams show as on prior to turning them on by turning the know past the click counter clockwise.
please help ! when I use my head lights everything works for like 5 minutes them my running lights turn off but the bliker and brakes lights work! could it be the switch?
I’m guessing you have a loose ground somewhere. Depending what year XJ you have, there are wiring diagrams available in their respective Factory Service Manual.
There a lot of electrical gremlin on jeep cherokee own two learn a lot from your videos keep it up.
Most definitely.
Advice from someone who has replaced his own switch three times: get the relay and assemble of the harness from Daniel Stern. You’ll be glad you did
I have recently done the harness upgrade in the red “Sonja”. 👍
I did the relay and harness on my 99 and it works wonderfully

Yes I did! My final video in that series should be posted in a couple days at the most. Let’s just say, sometimes it is that easy!
