    I have just recently connected a Giandel 3300 to my 12Volt 280Ah LiFePO4 battery which is being charged by a Epever 4210 solar charge controller. I have noticed as the battery charges up that the inverter is intermittently giving the "HI" error and high pitched whistle indicating over voltage. The battery is showing only about 13.9 volts which I have verified with a multimeter and is nowhere near the specs of 16 volts in the Giandel manual. Do you think this is caused by the Epever charge controller? I have been searching for this scenario online and your channel came up in the results. Thanks

    how can victron controller controller the Epever peak voltage???? they are 2 generator in parallel..if Epever go on peak, the higher voltage of the two, is what you have

    I build my 460Ah battery using CATL cells and JK-200A BMS. I use 60A EPever MPPT with 4x200W Rich Solar panels installed flat on van roof in 2S2P config. I am in Arizona but at the peak of the day in March, I only got a little lower than 500W at most. Wonder if that was due to poor performance of the EPEVER controller. I am searching all reviews had not cited one about EPEVER inefficiency.

      "Panels flat on van roof". You are losing some efficiency due to the angle of the panels with respect to the sun. My Epever controllers could output their full rated power.

    I am looking into purchasing two EPEVER 100 Amp for a 48 volt Absolyte VRLA battery bank...still looking for any videos on these subjects.

      I have 3 epever controllers, and they working perfectly.
      Its a myth that you charge to be full, i charge all my cells to 3.45 volts in a 48 volt system and after boost, it will saturate for 30 minutes and goes to float mode.
      It works already 3 years and just perfect

    i have epeverfor 3 years and work perfectly, and victron for 1 years now. yes is better in some.
    The power in one day is the same, but victron catch better cloud-edge situation when the power go above the nominal power of panel for 20 or 30 seconds due to the cloud reflection near the sun.
    A 300w panel make max 310w with Epever and 330 with victron. a 450 w panel almost never reach the max 30 amp of Epever but reach the 30 amp on the victron more often. I dont see the max power with cloud edge because the 30 amp controller limit is about 430-440w and the 450 w panel can go until 470 sure.
    victron have really no voltage peak with cloud or suddenly load shutdown or power on.
    another thing, in rv, victron go to max power a lot rapidly at the exit of a tunnel or bridge. Epever maybe need 20 or 30 second, victron 2 o 3 second

      And the victron nanual indications are generic for the chemistry, not for victron battery only. All the lifepo4 manufacturing say that absorption is regularly needed. Not every cicle clear. But many people put 0 time absorption and absormbtion voltage a 13.8 on lifepo4. For years. And nothing say this in literature

    Well, you're using the wrong batteries to start with.
    Why bother with that? Just get 48v rack batteries.

      I expect to get about 10 to 15 years use out of the "wrong batteries". The system now has 8 of those batteries configured as a 48v bank using an EG4 3000 All in One Inverter.

      Oh, and why bother? It was much less expensive. If I had to start over, I would get either the rack batteries, or better yet, one of the wall batteries equal to almost 3 rack batteries.

    is funny like all are obsession with cells serie balance, but not with battery series balance😂😂😂
    now, all cheap lifepo4 are garbage, cells have big IR difference and they never will last long. active balancer, top balance and all this obsessions are only because 90% people have crap cells. no good quality battery have active monster balancer or need top balancing. cells are premium with same IR. a lithium battery cant be overcharged. with the first cell at 100% charging stop. than, if IR cells are different, the battery will be garbage. very simple

      under user setting you can set the boost voltage and max charge and so on as you wish and the unit will perform as whatever you want from it will no problem.thanks for shering

      if you had purchase the epever an series you would get the led lights on board that you are comparing with the victron....thanks again for sharing @@arnoldsolof

    Warning Will Robinson Danger, system failure likely to occur. Controllers can not reference battery voltage because controllers see each others output and not battery. Also if one battery goes short will take out other and possibly feed 24v+ into one due to series set-up. Speak to a local solar expert. A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing.

      You missed the point... You got 2 cells in serie, if those 2 cells are at 24v it do not mean each cells are at 12v and by the time one is at your lower limit for their internal balancing to start as you said... they the other cell may shut off cause of an over voltage on one of its cells.
      Using a victron or épever will change nothing, the design got a problem. You need a balancer in your 2x12v pack

    Puting lifepo 12 volt in series is asking for trouble . Never do that even if the bms say they can . Buy a 24volt instead or do your battery yourszlf ...

      I'm in real trouble now because I reconfigured the 4 12v batteries into a 48 volt series for my new 48 volt all-in-one inverter. Everything is working perfectly, so I guess they are unaware of your warning.

      @@arnoldsolof i would not trust it unfortunatly :x i'have seen bms fail because of overvoltage ( since yours are 12 volt bms in series, this can happen ) the mofset burn but still let the bms alive unable to stop the current flowing to the battery ... i'm not saying this WILL happen to you, but it CAN, i have seen it

      @@arnoldsolof unfortunately, this is not advised, unless the BMS's manufacturer explicitly says so: When you are running 4x 12V (nominal) BMSs in series for a 48V (nominal) system, and one of them cuts off due to OVP, then the other BMSs' FETs will potentially face a 36V (nominal) voltage difference, plus any over voltage by the charge controllers at the time (i.e. if the charge controllers are in full blast at the moment). Better make sure your 4 12V (nominal) batteries are nicely balanced, which means you should probably get a 4s 12V battery balancer, or alternatively 3x 2s 12V battery balancers.

      @@arnoldsolof Your BMS will be fine! Only +48 is seen at the far ends ( main + and main -). Take a volt meter and check EACH battery + and - and it will be 12v.....if you do it in sequence from main - and step through the battery + from battery 1, 2, 3, and then 4, you will see 12, 24, 36, 48 but again the battery 1, 2, 3, and 4 only see 12v!
