Yeah our sable Burmese girl has similar needs. She loves consistency. And definitely needs play time although sometimes she will play with herself in the middle of the night. But do Bombays also meow and vocalize when they have needs like a Burmese cat?
Yes, because Bombay cat is a breed from two cats black short hair and Burmese cat.
@@mihaelafilipescu5818 oh I am fully aware of what breeds make up a Bombay😊
He says "mew", not "meow ", rather quietly, and he also sometimes sings at the moon, best way I can describe that one. Then he scent marks me and gives me kitty kisses when he wants more food
@@kellyschiller8166 soo sweet🥰🥰🥰 I want to eventually get a Bombay boy kitty after my Champagne Burmese lovie boy passed away too soon due to in-breeding medical issues.😅 I want a similar Burmese boy personality with less genetic issues.🙂
@@rachelk2457 go for it! Another thing Mojito does is give me a heads up on the weather, gets way clingy, and when I go downstairs, my daughter's cats are going nuts, and, I say, oh, hell, it's gonna rain. When he does the "mama, don't go", I know the storm will be bad
My Bombay cat was trying to entice me out of my bedroom this morning by putting his toys under my door. Bombay cats are so interesting
Any cat needs the same attention as the Bombays. This video can pertain to any pet cat.
I lost playing an online game because my bombay kitty jumped right on my desk and on my keyboard. I yelled her name at her at first and she looked so concerned but then immediately i was like "Im sorryyyy honey *mwah mwah mwah*" and she was so happy. Haha
Such a smart and affectionate breed. I was like "You're right, youre the princess and i love you! It's just a game!" 💜
all i would have to do is look at my Bombay cat and she would stop and look back at me and ok mommy, i wont do that and behave. She was with me all the time every day a i worked from home. She was amazing i miss her daily. RIP baby
Thanks for the PSA! Anyone thinking of a Bombay should watch this.
i love my Black Bombay Cat! God Bless!
I want an all black cat! 🐈⬛
I have a neighbor that has one well trained. Cat is always outside and stands by her all the time.
Go to a rescue group or humane society to adopt one! Black cats are not as easy to adopt out b/c of superstitions. I have adopted 2 black cats! One is a Bombay, I think.
I love mine all three
Trust they are the best I love them so much my little baby someone stole him :(
I own one as well as a Ginger tabby cat and Cockapoo. My black cat’s name is Casper and the other one is Milo.
Never yell at your fur baby whether it is a cat or dog... Being aggressive isn't the way... You have to have patience and unconditional love, if you lack those 2 behaviors then fur babies are NOT for you... ❤❤❤
I tell Mojito that I will come home as soon as I can, and that is a promise every day
These rules can be applied to any cat. (mega eye roll).
My thoughts exactly
I have a kitten Bombay and she’s SUCH a sweetie and very smart. So far she hasn’t shown to be very sensitive, and she loves our Chihuahua. But she’s only 7 weeks old, so we’ll see 😂
Thanks
I have three black cats and one of them is a Bombay
Thank you for this video. I just discovered my almost 2 year old black cat, Ming, is a Bombay. 🖤
My cat miso in my profile I found out he's an Bombay too !!!!he's only months old tho
@@Strawberryshortcakekittycat Aw, cool!😻🖤
@@Kristbjorg-Nymann thanks your cat is cool too!!
@@Kristbjorg-Nymann ♥ 🖤
Great video!
Spooky says we're good.
❤️
Im sorry but I gotta yell. You’re not going to keep scratching up my carpet
some cats like attention some cats don't even like cuddles THIS INCLUDES ALL CATS BREEDS!!!!
non more for me! i have one that end up at my 10th floor,4 years ago,she was pregnant,i accept her and her kitten, but today she is so aggressive and hate stay indoor, she wants to run ,sleep on top of cars in the carpark lot or under it
apart from her,i got another older 16 year old 1/2 australian thifany female and her 4 year old daughter a 1/2 ginger and 1/2 british tabby girl,
she just hates this daughter,at the point of attacking her constantly and beat her up
she is even agressive towards me,the only tiime she ins'n't is when she on the run and on the road
Hitting any animals is a sin to me,its just not right to hurt an animal emotionally and physically just to keep them quiet
i started off with a male bombay, then got a female to cheer him up and to start a family, but he's been very abusive to the female, but i thought it was part of the mating ritual of bombays' but ive found the female has the symptoms of being an abused cat, because of it, or is it just part of the gestation time they are going through, im doing everything i can to make the female feel as acceptable as possible, but she is still a bit withdrawn and timid, should i concered behond this point...............????
When you get a new cat, you are supposed to keep them separated for a while. This gets them used to each other and their smell. I’ve used baby gate(s) to seperate them but they can still see each other and have limited interaction at their own pace.
I don’t believe in breeding animals, so you are on your own with that. You are supposed to have your domestic animal….house pet spayed/neutered before adoption.
I asked my Bombay cat if I leave this place would he come with me and he shrugged 😢
I'd really like to know where the myth of cats being a "creature of habit" comes from, because I don't see it! No, wild cats don't have a structured day ("Food will be provided at a certain time!" - Nope, they have to catch said food and they might not always be successful! Same for social interaction, they might not have any for days if they live solitary!) :(
