ALL PETS NEED GOOD QUALITY, HEALTHY FOOD regardless of whether they’re a Bombay cat!!!(The latter is regarding your “expensive food” for Bombay cats, comment.)
Anybody who has a Bombay should be prepared for daily conversations with your cat. I have 1 and my mom's had 3. All very vocal when they want attention
Yes very vocal. Which can be nice to remind you of feeding time
My British Bombay is less vocal, and more communitive in a sense. He will get vocal around feeding time and if his water is empty, but other than that, he's only vocal to get my attention. Once he has it, it's hard to get him to be vocal, maybe he's too focused on me giving him pets lol
I HAVE A BOMBAY CAT
mine legit clucks and chirps at me like a bird, usually when I tell her no about something lol
Can confirm. My Bombay loves to chat. He also yells at me first thing in the morning 😅
Bombay cats are SO chatty. Whenever I get home, my Bombay cat loves to trot up to me and start meowing and following me around until I can sit down so she can crawl into my lap. They’re sweethearts.
They love to talk to you
Same with mine
They are sweethearts
Same here!!! Very Chatty AND drags his toys into the bed to play when he wakes me up!!!! lol!!
JUST GOT MY FIRST CAT - 7 MONTH OLD BOMBAY : She has changed my life. So loving, smart, and bloody ninjas!
Great cats!
Hi! ı have a question
@@erdalsevinc9105 if thou ask, ye might just get thine an answer
The creator of this video should spend more time with cats in general. The seven reasons he gives apply to almost every cat out there.
Yes , I agree with you!!!!
I've had two Bombay cats. They looked like little panthers and were muscular. They passed at 15 and 16 years old. They were affectionate and very good with people. I've never had a problem with them and miss them dearly. 🖤🐈⬛
Unless you cant give them time and attention theres no reason not to love a Bombay, theyre a bit more like a dog in how theyll follow you around and somehow youll end up knowing what theyre frequent vocalizations mean... YES, im saying I understand my Bombay, lol
My bombay cat loves me and she follows me
Amen!
Yes they are like dogs
@@CheetahYT2013I had a Burmese and was dead set on another one. Now I’m open to a Bombay, too! They share that loyal, loving heritage. ❤

My bombay whines and talks for hours when I’m working, but I fell in love with him immediately from all the affection, so I put up with him. He also yowls at the door when he’s ready for his walk. He took to a leash instantly and loves daily outdoor time.
That’s great he’ll walk with you!
Yep that’s my cat. Didn’t have to train him, he realized to go outside he needed a leash.
what do you do when he talks ALL the time? even after playing for hours and feeding her properly..........
My Bombay was feral. He’d sit on a rock outside in the yard and squeak at us. Slowly we started feeding him and he drew closer…finally, after a few weeks he let me touch him…that was quite an evening. Since then he has come inside, sleeps with us and will accept affection from us anytime. He is a gorgeous cat. How lucky I got to adopt a Bombay in the neighborhood! I’ve never seen such an intelligent cat. He’s like a dog…follows me around…likes sitting with my husband and I out on the porch. It makes him so content. I can’t recommend this strain of cat enough. They have great personalities.
You say your Bombay is intelligent and you got to adopt him, in all reality he chose you to care for him forever. Lovely cats.

@WVFG mine found me at a 711 it was so cold I couldn't leave him, great decision. Shadow is my lil homie and love this lil 🥷🏾 to death. I just found out yesterday he was a bombay. Everything these yt flicks have said describe shadow to the t
I had no idea this cat was a Bombay. I went to the shelter to find a cat and Midnight was in the room with feline leukemia positive cats. I live alone with no other pets so I figured it would be fine to deal with the feline leukemia. The vet said to try re-testing her in 9 months, since a healthy cat may be able to fight off a mild + infection and I also researched it and the in-house test they use has a lot of False positives. It was my girlfriend who saw Miss Midnight and said " Oh, you have a panther!" I looked it up and I was surprised that these kittens are very expensive to buy and rare. She is 8 years old and I cannot imagine someone giving her up to a shelter, but she fits all the descriptions. She is the most affectionate and smart cat I have ever had! True story, I paid extra money to have her bloodwork sent out for the more definitive feline leukemia test and it came back NEGATIVE, so she is super healthy and beautiful. And you are right, she is in my face-- literally-- if I am slow waking up in the morning, she puts her face right up to mine and starts purring and licking my face, even tries to nuzzle under the covers when I try to hide my head to get a few more moments of sleep! Midnight is active and playful, but I agree, this cat is not for someone who wants one of those aloof, independent cats. They crave affection and cannot seem to get enough. Which is fine with me, lol.
Good info!!
❤I got two cats from Kitty Town 😢...I already a black cat and he needed a friend...I got this cat that was wayyy different from the other .I had my vet .he's a exotic pet vet..did a blood draw and weeks later we found out he's a Bombay..so different..Batman is really cool but needs a bit more time and attention
yeah when my Bombay kitty needs food or attention he keeps licking me until i respond
Awe, bless you twofold for taking such great care of Midnight. 🖤
My muscular male Bombay loves when we’re home, hates when we’re gone. Love that big black panther!
We got the British bombay cat from the shelter. I can say, first time in my life that I have loved a cat. Active, smart, affectionate, liked to be cuddled, greeted me when I came home. What else can I say for a perfect "mini panther" cat❤️😊
That is awesome!
Exactly the same thing happened to me. Never been much of a cat person but the Bombay we adopted is the sweetest most cuddly thing ever & quickly changed my mind
I suspect the cat I got from the shelter may also be British Bombay. Solid black, shinny fur, green eyes, black nose and black paws. Follows me from room-to-room.
@@thestreetlogbook611 I hope you rescue that Bombay cat. They are very lovely and smart. They can even play run and fetch objects😊
My Bombay tomcat is by far the best companion I've had so far. He is playful, smart and chatty. He even learned how to open doors though he is only 1 year old. I didn't even know he was a specific breed when I found it hidden in the engine bay of my car 10 months ago. I thought he was a stray black kitten. I just took him home and it turned out to be the best decision for both of us. I found out that he is a Bombay at the vet, but even if he weren't, I would still love him just as much.
I’m amazed how some people got their Bomies from either a shelter, it was given to them, or a stray! If I could be so fortunate ,it’s my dream 🐈⬛ 😊
I'm from NE part of India, there are few Bombay cats but not very common like other stray cats. You can get if for free, because most of Bombay cats are stray. Even if they breed, you can still get it for free because here there's an unwritten rules cats are not for sale. But, imported cats are different tbough.
I adopted my Onyx from a rescue lady which the mom was a feral she didn't aske for any money for her. No that i know her breed i am more in love with her. And dead on with their personalities, not one wrong point. Wish I could show photo.
to all Enjoy and love your Bomie's.
I adopted two Bombays. They were in the shelter for almost 2 years before I adopted them
@@MidnightAndLuna See, that seems amazing to me. Because, I’m told, they’re quite expensive due to their special breeding. I hope you’re enjoying them very much 😊
I have a black rescue cat. I have no idea what breed he is but he acts like a Bombay cat. He is very devoted to my dad. Follows him around all the time and is never far from him. If dad is gone for a day or more, Spooky will get mad and ignore dad for a few hours before coming around to purr and rub on him. If dad is gone for an hour, Spooky will come in my room and be with me, since he needs to be with someone. Spooky is not a lap cat but he is a sit next to you cat.
He's also very stocky and robust, but he's not small. He also sheds like crazy. I think he's likely part Bombay verse full-blooded.
Love the name!
@@catsnow He is also a round boy. I call him a "panther bear," because he has a bear-like face. And he loves, loves watching animals! He loves bird videos and whenever a nature documentary is on, he sits on the coffee table and watches it. Hilariously, he is not a good hunter. Jasmine, our other cat, is an excellent mouser. She has strong material instincts, so she taught Spooky to hunt but it didn't take. It is very likely that Spooky is part Bombay. His purr can also be super loud and I read that Bombays have a loud purr.
@@amyrat151 Spooky just loves hanging out and watching tv! that's great
@@catsnow He's a good boy.
Trust me black americans and bombays have totally different carracteristics. Look at the head. My bombay has massive head. And he sheds when it hits spring unnaturally. Hairballs every other day. You'll know you have a bombay when theyre super passive aggressive wanting to go out. They walk like a panther. (They sway) bombay will be in your face constantly. Theyre basically assholes but they really just want attention. Many more things. You'll know you have a bombay if you owned both a black American and a bombay. The bombay will be an attention whore
Bombay is a fun cat with a mix behavior of goat, dog, human, and cat. Fun, affectionate, and wall climber. Half the time, he is standing on two feet, trying to climb a wall or jumping in the air playing with his toy!! The bombay is playful and fun. Love mine. Highly recommend. He is not boring.
I have a Bombay, she just came ambling down the road into my life one day (I live in the country). She purred her way into my heart and now we are inseparable , one of the best cats I've ever had. But then I live in the country and have plenty of land for her to go outside. Even then, she follows me around like a dog and we're best buddies. I love her so much. ( By the way I don't find her particularly picky about food and her coat is shining and beautiful)
I had a Bombay for 16 years.
My Bombat shed less than any cats I've ever owned.
I take care of an stray Bombay and he loves his scratches. He talks and talk when he walks up to greet me and purs when he’s comfortable. But he is SUPER LAZYY and loves his distance
Sounds a lot like my cat
My Bombay is the most beautiful, intelligent, affectionate, creative, playful, friendly, “ dog-like” cat in the world! I ❤️❤️❤️ my 🐈⬛
Awesome!
just like mine!
We have a Bombay cat. He climbed up on the counter and on top of the convection oven to look outside. My sister took his picture while he was up there. He looked like he was the "King of the Hill!"
Haha nice!
My Bombay, Ms. Harper, is the BEST pet I have ever had! She is also the cleanest! She chats with me all the time and she loves to be up under me. If I am not in my room for a long while, she will whine for me to come get in the bed. This baby helped me in one of the worst times of my life. She pulled me from an almost catatonic state. I thank the Most High that she came into my life. I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world! I've dated men who didn't like cats, so I got rid of them. My baby is THAT important!!
Mr Harper! Great name!
I have a black cat that I got from a friend. He's not a pedigree cat, but has many of the traits of a Bombay cat. The most affectionate cat I've ever known. I'm his mama, that's for sure. He goes to my husband for food, but to me for lap time and cuddles. I had the pick of the litter, and he was cuddly even as a baby, so I took him home, and I'm glad I did.
I greet my British bombay when I get home. All you hear is the jiggle of his collar and a robust 'meow' from the window lol he's really calm and smart, probably common from British Bombays
That’s great!
I've had 3. One passed away. Hands down the best cat breed. Very lovable and loyal and they always have a nice black shiny coat. Sometimes they do suffer from sneezing problems though.
love the beautiful coat
Spooky sneezes all the time over every fucking thing! It's so gross and annoying. We tried to give him some antihistamine, but he's so delicate that he threw it up almost right away. Damn cat. So yeah, I think he's a Bombay boy.
Yeah mine sneezes too, lol.
@@cassiusdio6048 Lol
Omg my Norman and his sneezes
My cat talks non stop and I talk back to him and he understands me just like a dog would. I tell him to go check his bowl for a special surprize and he can't get to his dish fast enough.
We purchased two kitties from Humane Society. I noticed how the male walks and looks exactly like a mini panther. I did some research and WOW! We have two Bombay cats. They are very friendly and follows us around the house. The female let’s the kids carry her around like a baby. They dress her up and have tea parties with her. She loves to eat so she was sitting there in her dress eating her dry food. Lol.
Got my first cat a year ago at 4 months from the shelter (I didn’t know anything about breeds at the time) now that my GSD passed away recently this is honestly the best cat I could’ve gotten. My dog was from a working line so I’m used to keeping my fur baby active and as more of a companion than a pet. She has so many behaviors that make her seem more like a dog and I absolutely love it.
thats awesome! the bombay is a great cat. the mini panther!
You got yours from a shelter? If only I could be so fortunate 😊
I LOVE bombay and bombay mixes!! Iconic! I will always have a Bombay /Bombay mix!!!
As for shedding, their silky coat does not matt and they're very easy to maintain. My two Bombays were active but NEVER jumped on the counters. They had their own small table with cat beds at the window to look out at the birdies and squirrels. 😻
Interesting... my bombay doesn't jump on counters either. My roommates has 2 cats. They jump on counters and are a bit mischievous. I've notice my boy seperates himself when the other cats are doing bad things.
@@aliza3997 😻
I had a bombay cat, I saw her getting born bit sadly after 5 months it passed away. Now I don't give loved ones that much feeling (maybe I do)
Ours literally jumped on everything EXCEPT the climbing tree we got her, which she mostly ignored. She was very friendly and would greet all visitors. She lived 15 years and I would love to have another like her!
I Own a Bombay Cat.
She is Beautiful and Intelligent. She is 10 Years Old, And Such a Sweety. A bit Moody at Times , She Knows That she is Loved.🖤🖤🖤🐈
thats great - love black cats
What do you need to feed them?
I have a Bombay cat and he isn’t active AT ALL, he just sits around and never wants to do anything but cuddle me and nap on my chest. Literally the best cats to have, they do love to look outside though, the food can be dry, but all cats should be fed high quality food no matter if it’s dry or wet.
I have had 6 Burmese Cat's at the same time and 4 British Shorthaired Cats. Burmese are like Bombays often the bombay is just a Black Burmese or British Shorthair. They spend the day napping but when awake they follow you everywhere, forget going to the toilet alone! my cat's have moved in a radiator hammock and a cat tree to the bathroom/toilet. They never tire talking to you. They are house cat's but my cats have access to the garden it's secure to stop them leaving. It's a large garden with lots of areas to hide from each other. They have health issues because they're pedigree. If you want a pedigree get two they love each others company. Check out reputable breeders as most come with genetic faults.
A mother Bombay dumped her kitty in shrubs 2 weeks ago. She was stretched and a huge botfly. She was pitiful with little energy, but affectionate. I got the botfly removed and know she is growing so fast , full of energy and demands lots of attention. She is a finicky eater, her favorite is cooked chicken livers , peas , cattots and spinach pureed. Other food I have to pour tuna water on top to get her eat.
I remember that I did get a black cat (looked most likely a Bombay or Domestic Shorthair) when she was pregnant, and afterwards, we had to return 4 kittens while she and another kitten (which was the most unique, since it was grey while the other kittens were black, some having white spots) stayed. However, after her spaying and her kittens growing up, she seemed to be aggressive. One day, she unexpectedly bit me when I pet her back (she still does so today, but it's been going on for almost 10 years). And later, she hissed at people who pet her in ways she didn't like. Overall, she is basically an introvert cat, as she always sleeps in areas where my family usually doesn't spend time at (while the grey cat sleeps anywhere he feels good at). Up to today, I have gotten used to knowing when and where she is fine with being pet or held.
If she is a Bombay cat, I would assume that her previous owners were very ignorant of her, and she didn't have proper attention from her before she was somehow abandoned and then sent to a shelter while pregnant. This has, sadly, discouraged my family from approaching her, meaning that if she doesn't correct her attitude (which probably won't happen at all), she'll still have this problem.
His name is Bowtie. He enjoys every aspect of his life. I feed him skipjack tuna, chicken liver, wild caught salmon and hgh quality grain free dry food. He has access to the outdoor world at will through a unique double door that allows him free range to the wilderness area where he lives. He's a great pet.
What grain food do you feed him ? I have a bombay and I'm looking to improve her diet
@@aspookyspookynight It is called Naked Essentials with Salmon and Trout. It is grain free. (Cats do not need grain in their diet.)
My Bombay kitty had a lower intestine problem, and was given 48 hours to live. The diet at the shelter of giving kittens grown cat food almost killed him. He can only eat hills perfect digestion now and he his happy and healthy
Nice job saving its life!
i have a 1 year old bombay cat that we've had since she was a small kitten and she is a complete angel. she doesnt climb or anything. she is also just very light.
The Bombay is the cat version of a dog which is why I love them. Yes, they love their families, including other pets. So if you have a dog that gets along with cats that will minimize the separation anxiety. One thing to look out for if you want a black cat. Not all black cats are Bombays with the same traits. Bombays are all black including noses, paws, everything and their eyes really are striking. And of course there's the very affectionate personality. The first Bombay I met was at my vet's office. Out of all the people there this little boy picked me out and latched on to my arm to play with me. He was just too adorable. I would have taken him home with me but for my two Giant Schnauzers, a breed with a very high prey drive. At the least, particularly with my male, it would have been very dangerous for him. Bombays are a very new breed bred to look like panthers. Now If panthers were this friendly. They are NOT meant to be outdoors cats as they don't have the health constitution for the outdoors. But if you get a Bombay you ARE getting a furball of love. It will often seem like you've got a velcro cat rather than one who just wants his space and only really tolerates you.
Best cat ever. Healthy and loyal and obedient affectionate
Awesome cat!
I had the exact shiny black cat but very active, intelligent and caring. His name was snow white. He died yesterday, he was just 6 months old. So I'm watching the cats that resemble him, as I miss his presence
I lost my Fester a year ago and it still hurts. Sorry for your loss.
@@changethegame.9400 🫂I'm sorry. I hope they are in the rainbow bridge, as many mention.
Ours has an awesome personality. So personable, loving, talk talk talk......yet playful and will throw down and scrap in a moments notice!! :)- She's the best!
I have a 3 y.o female Bombay and 5 y.o male brown tabby and for the love of god I can’t get them to be in the same room. It’s been over a month or so now and they’ll be okay for a while up until the female tries to swat at the male and chase him away. I’ve tried everything and even bought the cat calming wall plug ins. Any advice or help would be awesome! Thank you:)
I’d recommend a automatic toy that keeps them entertained from time to time. Sometimes they get bored then start to mess with each other
Mine isnt a fan of sitting in windows . Would rather sit in my lap i never see him in the windows like my tabby
My Bombay seems to prefer dry food and pet treats over just about any kind of wet food. My other cat, not a Bombay, is just the opposite to the point she even doesn't seem to figure out what pet treats are for. It's hard when you get kittens, especially rescue cats, to know what kind of personality they will have later. It's been nearly a year and my two are finally acting like friends.
Our Bombay preferred dry food as well. We lost her to old age about 4 years ago, she was 24 when she passed away. We took her in as a stray
My Bombay cat is very picky eater, they are just like your cat, my other cat eats eveything i give to him; he wants everythkng i eat from biscuits, noodles or junk foods. But, Bombay cat doesn't want any of this, only dry foods, cat gravy foods and sardine can.
We bought our Bombay kitten few weeks ago and we love love love him , I had many cats in the past but thus little monster he is the sweetest and easy to litter train and sleep . He is already a member of a family and yes he loves people and in your face 24/7
I LOVE MY BOMBAY CAT!!!
I just found a stray kitten that looks just like these guys. Has the cutest little babydoll face. She’s was so cuddly and friendly, literally let me pick her up and take her home where she instantly made herself at home.
I just realised my cat is Bombay, she plays soccer with ping pong balls and is very smart and doesn’t like the curtains closed even of an evening, all this time I just thought she was really smart lol
They love ping pong balls
I love my Bombay girl Ebony. She is so affectionate, smart, and active. I get scolded everytime im away for more than a few hours. My House Panther definitely has her own attitude and runs my house.
My Bombay is the best cat I’ve ever had. Like a human lol. I love my baby
I can’t go anywhere without my Bombay following me. If i close the fire to the bathroom she will stand outside scraping and meowing until I open the door😭❤️
I have a male Bombay and female Blue Russian. Amazing cats, both intelligent, vocal, affectionate... BUT a lot of responsibility!! Hands-down two of the best breeds... in fact, after deciding to rescue these 2 from a box of at least 12 others, I fully transitioned to a "cat person". They'll take care of you!
Very nice!
@@catsnow I'm truly in love with them.
All these reasons are why I want one again. I miss my little girl and would love to get another one. Just hard times right now for me to get another one. :(
I think my black cat may be a bombay (not sure cause he’s a rescue) and for the first point, he loves my rrom cause it has a stair like bookcase and my bed is a bunk bed with the desk underneath. He is a very adventurous cat as he goes and roams around the neighborhood all night and loves laying on my stomach when he thinks i’m asleep.
He is also very vindictive as he pees on any spot my grandma sits on frequently because she’ll always yelling at him and talking shit about him… I love him so much.
He has a lot of loose skin hanging from his belly from when he lost weight when I was hospitalized and he was worried about me😅
Well if he has slightly bigger eyes, copper yellow eyes, and silky fur, he is probably a Bombay 😊 I think the best cat next to a Burmese 😊
I already have a Bombay cat for 1year now. I rescued him from road. His name is Taranath. He is becoming very agressive. I've more than 10 cats so it's difficult to give attention to a specific one. But i give him time when I can. But the problem is my another male cat is become adult and Taranath can't tolerate him. He tries to attack him whenever his sees him. And also he attack me when i try to stop him. I don't know what to do. I love my all cats and i could never think to get rid of them. And it's becoming difficult to handle.
I need an answer , im about to adobt an 2 years old bombay cat … my question is : will he see me as his family now after teo years with other family ?
I got an 8 year old female Bombay cat a month ago who was surrendered by her family to shelter. She adjusted very quickly and is super friendly and social. My kitten is super energetic and always annoying my Bombay and chasing her but she still wants to always be around us and puts the kitten in his place without hurting him. She’s amazing.
@@katiepaoletti6987 thanks a lott❤️this helped me a lot to adopt one
How's it going?
yes, my roommates bombay cat has basically become my cat. ima actually try to buy it from him weve become so attached, even though i already have two Dogs.
One of my good friends had to leave their home and was temporarily rooming with someone who couldn’t take in their Bombay cat. I adopted their cat which he was about 4 years old at the time. The second I brought him home. We bonded instantly! After a few weeks he would jump on my back when I get home from work just to let me
Know he misses me. He constantly wanted to be around me, every morning I wake up he’s staring at me with his huge yellow eyes. Or snuggled up under me. I swear it felt like we connected spiritually at times. He just made me want to talk and have conversations with him. And I swear he understood lol. Also very active. Always wanted me to play with him. So yes they will adapt to you if you show them love and admiration.
Oh please. One word, baloney. You lov'em, feed them and give them a clean litter box always. Give them tons of hugs and kisses just like any other cat. That's what I do with my three and they always want to sleep under the covers with me.
These reasons describe 90% all cats.: likes to climb and jump, sheds, wants to see outside, likes being around people, affectionate, need good quality food, smaller.
my first cat was a bombay cat. My landlord found her in a plastic bag as a kitten in the dumpster, rescued her and put her in the leasing office for anyone who wanted her. The moment I walked in to pay rent I saw her, we been best friends since. PS she scratched everything to pieces, she was very cranky and super loud. Also she was ultra needy and nosey and she shed all over the f'ing place :D gl! hahaha worth
My Bombay. His name is Koko is a great companion for my other cat Tig who is a British short hair. They are inseparable and best buddies. He doesn't have any hangups and extremely well mannered. Never waking me up at night or scratching the furniture. I love Koko!! ❤️
My girl was a Bombay/Burmese picked by her breeder specially for me.
She was perfect and so loving and loved pulling tricks and playing games on unsuspecting James! I even taught her acrobatics, so trusting as she was.
Also no 'fraidy cat' was she, being always right in the middle of gatherings demanding attention, of which she got plenty!
This is my little buddy to a T. One of his nicknames is monkey boy because he LOVES to climb. We built him a two story catio with old driftwood we got from the beach and a cafe table that we got from someone that was moving out under an old reclaimed greenhouse for the top level and a 15 foot scratching post with perches going down to the bottom level. The bottom level has grass a chair for us to sit in and hang out and a sandbox for digging which he also loves to do. It connects to the house with a 50 foot catwalk. He loves to run full steam back and forth on the catwalk and sing for us. Owwwwwww woooooowww wooooow. He greets me at the door every day. Follows me everywhere and has a designated snuggle hour in the morning while I’m having my coffee when he sits in my lap and gets pets and scritches. He’s all things you’ve talked about. A small dude but a solid wall of muscle when you pick him up. Loves to sing and play with his toys and run and climb. Such a fun little buddy but kinda high maintenance
all you said is true which ive seen in my bombay cat.this kind of cat also likes playing by biting our feet and hand once you touch them because they are very playful. Our cat loves to hunt whatever he sees small creatures flying.
Got mine from a rescue 3 years ago. Best decision ive ever made. Love my lil kitty.
i love my black cat but he's not like what you described round hes slim and longer fur his paws and nails are massive he's really loving he has whiskas wet meat pouches separate biscuits and i buy them tins of tuna that they love they have that a couple of times a week
Once you go black - you never go back
Bombay cats are awesome if you want a cat that is similar to a dog. My two ride in the car with me everywhere.
That’s great!
My Bombay cat chose me..can be very talkative..good natured, loves to be with me and if I'm gone for several hours he let's me know...a very good companion cat for sure.
You forgot the biggest reason. They rarely shut up. My Bombay meows, chirps, and makes noise all night and most the day. Other then that he is an awesome kitty
I have Twins boys 3 months old... I love these boys so much....very active and yes vocal... ❤❤❤❤❤
You can get special cat food to help there allergic be it from them round and when they lick there self it gets the allergy on their dur
Being that My partner in life is a bombay cat. She is a very loving cat, that I rescued from severe abuse. I have had her for 5.5 years. She is now 14.
I take issue with the medical ssues. All the other videos I have seen about Bombay cats say they are very resilent anh healthy. I see no evidence of things like arthritis or other pains.
She is a very loving cat. But it is obvious that she has PTAS from her abuse, so she does not like to go outside, so Ii leave the door open for her to lay just inlide, watching the outside.
I highly suggest getting a beautiful Bombay cat. Literally everyday, I thank Spirit for the wonderful gift she gave me. I was given her, a carrier and a bag of food because I am a veteran with 50% disability.
But, she is a diva.
i have two Dogs, a Golden Retriever and a German Shepherd Dog, and my roommate has two cats, a bombay, and an orange tabby. the bombay cat is on my window ledge, and the other is MIA. sounds about right.
awesome - they love the window!
True my Bombay loves her tiki cat food, comes to me to brush her, she likes laying on her chair to watch me. She loves her cat tree and 4 scratch post and all her toys!
My Bombay is Enormous and weighs 25#! The rest of the video is spot on! He thinks he is a dog too! 😂
i have a female Bombay cat and she is the best pet for owners who are home most of the time. i also feed her organic food, which has made her coat nice and shiny
That is awesome!
We have fuzz everywhere in the house but there is no hair on our clothes and he weighs 16 lb and is huge and muscular and walks like a panther
I just love Bombay cats!Unfortunately mine passed away,am looking for another one.
I lived with a Bombay from birth till he died in December 2020 by then I was 13

i am retired and my neighbor put a tiny black skinny black cat at my door. she was crying so loud, i could here her from the kitchen. i answered the door and asked my neighbor, that was downstairs if this cat was his. he told me that his family was collecting strays. would you like her? he asked me. i said sure , cat looked up at me and walked between my legs inside my home. when i picked her up i could feel her individual ribs. in two weeks i fed her organic food with salmon and tuna treats. i got her to the vet and had her get her vaccines. i explained to the vet how thin she was when i got her. the vet told me she had two weeks to live being that thin. i am so grateful the kid gave her to me. i saved her life. i have saved other lives, like my daughter, an old boyfriend, etc. I don't understand how anyone can let a life die. i will save any life if i am aware of it. I have been told that i have the gift of being a healer. I love and adore my sweet, loving and playful Bombay cat. we get along wonderfully. Please have a safe, happy and wonderful life
I love this breed so much
I had two and loved them both . They were both polydactyl .
Sounds like dude described a shorthair. They seem to have the more round features, whereas Bombays have the more distinguished panther-like features, especially in the face.
I love my angel Bombay cat she stay small forever, but she is my little angel. She never be mean to me.
they are adorable im a good friend of the bombay cat of my neighbor she likes to visit me cause i play with her very much is true is a very dynamic cat absolutely loves to play. jump and run they need psychic attention they very special.but most of all cats are special
they are the best! They will wait hours by the door like a dog until you come home and are so happy when you walk through the door
thats great!
I got 2 Bombay Cats. And they learned to behave the way I expect them to be. They know what things I dont wamt them to touch and play with. They love sleeping on my bed next to me and they dont disturb me at all. And they dont take space at all.
The only true thing you mentioned is they always lovd being with you ALL THE TIME.
Bombays are great!
my bombay cat only eats dry food and has a very runny nose and is very small
7 reasons, all we heard were positives. Our black Bombay is the best.
🐈 Part of our 🐾 family 🐾for sure 🐈⬛👍🕊✌️❄️
Awesome!
@@catsnow she’s our little super intelligent princess that understands more than most people 😂 love her. ❤ 🐈⬛ 👍✌️
So it's a medium cat at the beginning of the vid but small later on in the vid. Most of this is opposite to my Bombay
I love mine so much!! My Sparticus is so lovable. If I bend over he runs across the room and jumps on my back. Since he is VERY big and heavy he almost knocks me over. He does like a lot of attention and gets along well with KleaKatraBella, my grey and white tuxedo girl. He regularly comes up to me when I sit on my couch because he wants to be held like a baby with his paws over my shoulder. He didn't meow the first year of his life. The 2nd year maybe a couple of times. Now he talks all the time.
If you don't think a Bombay is for you then get a black domestic cat. They are adopted/rescued far less that other cats because of ridiculous superstitions. They are awesome too!!
I believe both cats are large because I make their food. I NEVER feed my cats dry food except for high quality and as a treat ONLY. At 5 o'clock they get one teaspoon. They sit in front of me a half our before and stair at me until they get their treat. NO CATS SHOULD GO OUTSIDE except on a harness. They like to go for walks like a dog. They get cold easy so get them a bed and put a blanket over them.
Go to catinfo.org and listen to Lisa Pierson DVM and Karen Becker DVM to learn how to feed your cat a proper diet. You can also listen to them on UA-cam. It's actually cheaper to feed them homemade food then buying expensive high quality food. I make it every 2 weeks and put it in containers into the freezer. Easy peasy !!😻😺🖤🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛ Oh Black Boubies.🎼🎶Bamba-lam 🎼🎵🎶🎹
🎼
You forgot to mention they like to chew on shoes and chase after balls like dogs 😅
Best cats 🐈⬛ I’ve ever owned!!
My MR. Sir is as needy as a dog. Lol loves to run and jump and play.
