This cmv has actually made such an impact on my life over 10 years ago in high school. It introduced me to homestuck which got me through a hard high school experience and Grimes which changed my taste in music for years to come when I was a teenager.
Wow, first comment in years! Thank you for your comment. We are all very proud of this video. Everyone involved has moved on our separate ways but we are all still friends, and the cosplayers in the video will be happy to hear people still come back to it.
The snow is quite lovely sometimes, but most of the time it's a pain. Uneven ice is very treacherous to walk on, the cold wind cuts, and the melting snow was hell on the makeup (probably our biggest problem for this video). I really hope we get the chance to do more videos in the summer when it's nice. Also thanks!
Everyone involved has moved to very different places in our lives, but we still look back on this project fondly. Glad to see it's had a positive impact on so many!

This video is incredible. That John's facial expressions are PERFECTLY in character. now let me just go retreat into a corner with my Seer: Descend feels ughhh
If you give your camera and lenses some time to become the same temperature outside, then the fogging won't be as much of a problem. We were probably outside for two hours while filming this. Although some handles don't handle below freezing temps very well.

((and last time I checked, which was a few weeks ago when I got to meet him, no he doesn't but w/e)) It's really a great comic for people with certain interests, and if you don't have those interests, no one is forcing you to read it or watch this fantastic video which people put /so much effort/ into. I really hope you can learn to be polite about it in the future, but for now please be nice to people who have nothing to do with you. Thank you and have a nice day!
If you can get some friends and equipment together, I highly encourage it. Even if your results suck at first (i have tons of terrible films no one will ever see) eventually your hard work will pay off and it feels so good. Plus just making the video is a great way to bond with your friends.
