    It seems you might save yourself many hours and benefit from some sanding equipment to smooth your foam, instead doing it with scissors. 1) It explains the thought processes and foundation, not the steps. Too many videos explains the steps of making a fursuit head as if there are hardset rules. Yours offers advice that can be applied anywhere with a little thought and creativity.
    2) You’re cool.

    I work from 3d bases but its so so so cool watching you be so intentional with building form on the bases. It's not something I see too often with other makers (theres no right way to get a good shape) its just super interesting

    this is really helping me i think this is a good tutorial
    but one question
    Do you have any tips on starting to properly getting into fursuit making, I struggle on paws mainly and I kinda need a few tips?
    earnt yourself a sub :)

      When it comes to fursuit making all you really need is basic crafting knowledge and sewing skills. You need to be well equip with reasearch skills as well becasue some people neglect to realize they have to find furs and different materials that work for them

    Beginner head maker here - A lot of this is paying attention to detail. If there's anything I've learned from researching these things to the bone, it's that there's a pattern that a lot of people follow, and it may differ depending on the maker. Typically the order goes: Bucket base, muzzle, cheeks, eyebrows/forehead. Again, after that, it's a lot of attention to detail. Smooth things out, use references to match the shape as best as you can. Triple check things over to be sure that the shape is right. Also, remember, remember the utmost important thing? Have fun with it. It's something that you're making, and you're doing your best.

    The foam I use takes about 10 minutes to dry with the hot glue an it’s a pain to have to hold it until it’s done

    • @dragon-xx4fo
      @dragon-xx4fo 4 роки тому +1

      I'd suggest using pins, it holds it well, But don't use the pins for anything other than fursuit making because they will have glue on them

    Hi! I’m a currently practicing fursuit maker and this tutorial helps SO MUCH! I did this with a previous headbase I was working on (which turned out really good), but I delayed that project for now because I had the idea of making fursuit heads where they purposefully look like someone’s first fursuit head (lopsided in shape, asymmetrical, triangle ears and duck shaped snouts, etc.) Coming back to this video for a rewatch because this tutorial make such wonderful headbases and I needed a refresh. Thank you so much!
