In links, at least, you can insert something like "&start=1&end=27" or "&start=154&end=197" at the end to make it start at the start time and automatically stop at the end time, but only when it's played for the first time, and it doesn't work everywhere
The bass sound is different in this version and the bass line notes are slightly different in the "I bought you drinks, I bought you flowers" part. A few other subtle changes for other instruments too: bells, pad, high string note is different. It does sound like a pure Fairlight only sequence, so perhaps an initial version / starting point for the session. It could be what Chris initially brought in to the studio - he had a Fairlight and interestingly no one is credited for Fairlight programming on this track, also suggesting it could be Chris. Track was produced by Stephen Hague so there were almost certainly overdubs and replacements performed later on (check out Electronic "Disappointed" with the one version produced by Hague and another produced by the band and spot the subtle changes.)
