Gilly l remember these paintings 😍 Love this one, the cells are incredible, Love the cells within others in different colours❤ Beautiful on the wall 🥰🌺🌼🌸. 🫶🏻🫶🏻☘️☘️
Gems they are!! Very pretty! I haven’t started doing pours yet, but I’m really excited to start, whenever that might be. I just need the money to start, and I just want to do black and white to start out. Thought it would be cheaper to start out with just a couple of colors, and I love black and white! I’ve been watching many videos. Thank you for going through all of that! It is very helpful. And, I just have to say, I love your bracelet! I’ve noticed it each time I watch your videos.
Just buy supplies from your dollar stores and try it out .That's how I started. Watching videos gives you insight and instruction about different ideals .Just go for it .
WOW! The cells are so pretty! Colors are gorgeous. I love it. I will give this glue mixture a try. Being a beginner I don’t want to go broke trying so many expensive stuff.😂😊
Absolutely loved this video what an amazing piece of art and well explained also loving your custom colour tips. Always look forward to your video so calm and relaxing :)
So useful and grateful for this video Gilly. It’s been ages since I’ve poured I’ve had to go back to basics. You’re always so generous with your teachings. lovely and fun to watch. Hugs to you
Hi Gilly, I love watching your videos, they are truly inspiring. I am in Aus and have been using the 70/30 mont marte glue to water recipe as my pouring medium, and have been struggling to get any nice results. This video clarified that the 30% means 30% of the glue you have , not 30% of the total. So I was doing 700ml glue and 300ml water (70/30), but I should valve been doing 700ml glue and 210ml water…. It has made a HUGE difference to my pouring which I am finally starting to enjoy rather than being constantly frustrated, not to mention, wasting a lot of paint. I just wanted to say Thankyou 🥰
@@Smoopy Let’s say I wanted to make up 1 litre of pouring medium, I would put in 700ml of glue (70% of 1 litre) and 300ml of water (30% of 1 litre) After watching this video, I realised that was not what Gilly was doing.. Gilly adds 30% of the amount of glue she has, so in this video she has 1 litre of glue and then adds 30% of the 1 litre which then gives her a total of 1300ml of pouring medium. So when I adopted the same logic, I actually only needed 210ml of water for my 700ml of glue. Eg. 700 x 30% = 210 Hopes this makes sense 🤓
@@TrueblueAussie67 Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. You're gonna hate me, but I still don't get it 😳🤣 I'll ask my partner to read it and see if he can make me understand. Thanks again!
@@TrueblueAussie67 To the mathematically minded, Gilly's mix is not a true 70/30 mix....it seems the 70 does not enter the ratio....it is merely some glue and then add 30% of that volume as water.....I will try that and see how that goes.
Yeh! Magic Gilly, brings back memories for me as you and your pics are the reason I had a go!! That should be a fantastic challenge for Scott x x love from Jo x x🇬🇧💋🌟👍
Hi Jilly Thanks for the lovely video for beginners. I really like your videos. I have a request .. can you also make a video about how to cover the painting at the end to make it shine? Thanks in advance🌹🌹🌹
Always love these tutorials - thank you. The colors are beautiful. With the silicone that you use, when your piece is dry, do you have to 'clean' the canvas before you resin or put a coat of varnish? I hear other artists mention that when using silicone, they have to clean their piece because of the residue the silicone leaves behing. BTW, I was able to purchase Montmarte clear glue via Amazon here in the US. Thought your viewers might like to know that the US Amazon does sell it. Cheers!
Hi Gilly. I have just found your youtube videos and love them. I am a sunny coast girl, but I recently moved to the north side of Brisbane. I am learning so much, so thank you.
Hi from Spain, I enjoyed your presentation. I have just one question, when you are "balloon painting" do you use the same proportions of glue, warm water and acrylic paint? Kind regards John.
13:2013:23 Hi Gilly, I wanted to share with that you are a delightful and talented woman. I started my pouring adventure with you. You made this process approachable and successful for me. When I'm looking thru thumb-nails I can always identify your beautiful work. I work to emulate your talent, compassion, and warmth. Misty Saltlake City, Ut, USA
I would like to learn your recipe that will give me a lot of cells. I watch many artists on youtube but yours is the most doable for me. It’s not easy, don’t know what I am doing wrong. I got this paint you are using from Amazon. I ‘ll let you know my progress.I don’t see Helmar silicone on Amazon.I have Elmers glue, Floetrol, Monte Mart it must be the silicone that I don’t have. Maybe you can tell Amazon to sell it just curious if you can do that. By the way I am in Delaware, US. Thank you so much.
I have a small torch. Can you adjust the flame small on these or does it have to be a large flame? I love this video and your work is so beautiful ❤😊 thank you!
You put the paint with the silicone right on the canvas? How do you do that and not have bare canvas everywhere? I thought you HAD to have a base coat down to keep the silicone off the canvas?
HI Gilly, WOW my goodness I absolutely fell in love with this one ✨👍 your art work reminded me of a Christmas Art Deco stunning thanks for sharing 👍✨❤️🎈🎈 Lin
it takes a few days to touch dry and a few weeks to fully cure sometimes, finish with varnish spray of resin coat links in description below video in drop box :)
Those cells are fascinating, love the cells within cells, all different colours. Thanks l remember those from the beginning ♥️♥️ Gorgeous 🌹🌹☘️☘️

En France il existe la colle transparente Cleopatre. Elle fait du bon et beau travail. Son prix est très raisonnable

Aww thank you so much 😊 appreciate
To save pennies I keep my coffee creamer containers and rinse them out and label them
Do you use tap water or distilled water
Another great result. You remind me of a female equivalent to the Biblical character Barnabas otherwise known as the son of encouragement ❤
Great tutorial..beautiful results..not sure why US ppl are having trouble getting the pvc craft clear glue that u now use, I got mine off of Amazon.

Nice. Thanks. Why did you put Floetrol in the aubergine colour?
Floetrol helps give Lacey cells 😄

How do you store your paints to keep from drying out
Can you use any kind of glue as long as it is PVA?
not all work as well :)
How did your first project turn out, mine was A DISASTER
How long does it take to dry? Do you finish it with something?
it takes a few days to touch dry and a few weeks to fully cure sometimes, finish with varnish spray of resin coat links in description below video in drop box :)
Do you apply varnish as a final coat?
Yes 👍
When do you add the Floetrol please
when making up your paints, just add to mixed paint :)
Tyvm❤️
Hi Gilly, it's Kris from sunny coast Queensland Gympie. Is there a general rule to witch colour goes on first ie: darker to light?
Hi I don’t really think about it, no rules in my art room 😀😀
Like warm honey?
Please what is exactly the ratio of water ,glue and flour.
What is the flotrol for?
Your husband is a good man to do all that for you.
What does flowtrol do please gilly
It helps create cells or lace in your work 😊
How does it come out if you leave flotrole out?
Try and see, it’s ok 👌
O que fazer ou tomar condo este. Espelindo muco transparente
Can you give me an idea of why I’m not getting any cells?
What dose the silicone do?
Gives cells in your work 😉
I do prefer not to use silicone though 😅
Why do I always create marbleized painting s? Help
Can anyone tell me why I got tons of unwanted cells using only paint, water and glue. Thanks!!
Did you put flotrol in it you didn't show that
At minute 9:39 she showed just a dash of flotrol.
Wouldn't 70/30 with 300 ml of water mean you 700 ml of glue, total of 1000 ml, not 1300? Just starting and want to get it right!
You're right
Wondering the same
That isn't clear glue. I'm confused
This is a good option, especially if in USA 🇺🇸
Why arent the corner blocks for canvas in.
Thanks so much, I live in the U.S and am on a VERY limited budget...so thanks so much!!!
