That is one talented family. Clearly they aren't interested in more acting otherwise we would be seeing them again elsewhere. Thanks to the Hiams for making this film the success it is, great
This scene and this acting was brilliant. I was shocked how well all the Haim's did as I had no idea who they were prior to this movie. I hope to see more roles go their way. Brilliant.
@@Coco_Loco95 Their mother was PTA's childhood teacher. She was one of the people who supported him to pursue a carrer in art (filmmaking in this case).
At the beginning of the movie, I empathized with Gary so much, then he started opening his mouth and I felt so many emotions with/for Alana and then by the end of the movie, I realized how toxic they both were. Phenomenal movie 10/10. Problematic asf but goddamn one of the best movies I have seen this year.
I had flashbacks to the sisters from Punch-Drunk Love watching these scenes. I cannot wait to see the film again, especially Bradley Cooper as Jon Peters. Laughed out loud every scene he was in. It is my second favourite PTA film since P-DL, with Boogie Nights as a third. It's too long though.

I love how Danielle just turns around and keeps walking in the kitchen trying to do SOMETHING haha
she's like "nope, not gonna get involved" lol
Love how Danielle is always the chilled one. You can always count on that even on a movie.
I'd pay to watch a reality series of the Haims. Their scenes were hilarious and all too-brief - best moments in the film.
Yeah I really thought there could have been more scenes with the family!
I'd like a whole companion movie just of Este silently thinking
LOL. The Haims version of the Kardashians.

every haim family member deserves an oscar for this scene
It could happen, look for them to become future Oscar winners for this role.
Absolutely they were terrific and it is totally awesome they are a family.
It’s acted like they’re a real family (which is good because they are a real family) but most of the Oscar voters will interpret that as bad acting :P
@@jqyhlmnp i dont think so, good acting is good acting
Incluid the mom.
Estes got a Goldie Hawn quality to her. I can see her becoming a movie star.

I love how danielle it's giving the cool vibes even for just some seconds in this movie
I didn’t know all of the Haim girls were in this 😆
Is their actual parents too
The whole family was in the movie.
They even kept their first names.
The director is a family friend who also directed their music videos.

Ladies and gentlemen, *THE HAIM FAMILY*
This is so like Punch-Drunk Love. Love it.
Alana should be nominated for Oscar for this scene
this is such a great movie - i loved it, and would recommend it highly!!!

It's almost as if life and people are complicated, and Paul Thomas Anderson tries to capture that.
Best movie of the year

It does go on a bit too long, there's a bit too much meandering around 70's SoCal.
Great taste, those are his best
Coulda shoulda, maybe woulda been Alana's Oscar clip.
A normal day at the Haim family house. 😂
Oh, "Thinkers that think things" are... *TIGHT!*
That comment was Super Easy, Barley an Inconvenience
A 42” oner perfectly executed by PTA.
This is hands down the funniest scene in the movie 😂
her driving backwards in the guys in the back of the moving truck being thrown around was my fav
I still haven't seen this movie yet gonna watch for free on prime tomorrow
Este and Danielle didn’t say much in this movie, but when they did 😂😂
You thinker! You think things! 😅
Classic “thinker”.
How did they get the entire family to do this?!?
Asked them

What a great movie
I love Este
I'm dying to watch this. Damn!
I did yesterday. Now I’m dying to watch it again.
Get out and see it . I drove an hour to see it .
Great film.

Great movie! loved it.
Makes me wonder if the Haim sisters were really like this during their childhood.
It's all about whether humor rules the day.
Scena capolavoro. Estratto di vita familiare in purezza
Catchin up with the Heims
HAIM
Yoooo for real this acting is amazing!! Sorry Harry 🫡
This is real world Brady Bunch.
the 4th haim sister is missing

Man if this was in polish I would know someone that's the Walmart version of this.
Thats makes me feel angry. Great acting!
Second movie with a large Jewish family of mostly girls….
Makes me wonder how tense Paul Thomas Anderson’s house was growing up. 😄
Hope PTA gets back to real movies again soon.
This might in fact be the most real movie he’s ever created.
What does this even mean
They're how old those girls and still living with mom and dad? Hahahhaa that weird
It was the 70’s that’s what happened back then

I thought about that too and I think it’s because they’re an ethnic family and that was typical in those days.
Me rn
This movie was awful because none of the main characters will likeable.
"he's Jewish!" Isn't that a good thing???
Aren't y'all also Jewish? I'm so confused with this scene
