I know you find doing these chores to be very mundane, but in the midst of all the division, arguing, and mean people, I find your videos to be rather cathartic and settling. Thank you for these precious moments of peace and happiness.
My thoughts exactly!

A huge degree of sanity, common sense, grace and knowledge. I look forward to every one.
Although I am a stranger to you, can I say that I am proud of you and your accomplishments. After my husband died, I was the one who had to do whatever I could at our home. It wasn't always "pretty" or the way he would have done it, but a lot of the time I surprised myself. I could almost imagine him smiling.
❤
Aww, much love Paula.
💖💙🏴
And well done, learning to do 'stuff' your way. No doubt hubby is smiling right back at you. And proud as well. 👍
There have always been partners who can pick up the slack and keep 'the band together' and keep playing on. Good work! ⾺
I've lived alone for most of my life and do all the inside and outside work, so good for you to take it all on! I know many women who are lost when they lose their husbands and hope they can all be as resiliant as you ♥ Women may not be as strong as men, but we find ways to get things done and get them done well. Never let anyone tell you it's too big or too much for you to handle, you got this!
"Other than the blizzard, it was pretty easy." Lady, you are tough as nails!
That sounds like the attitude many Canadians have about the weather-- especially farmers and those living on the Prairies and Rockies. Much the same landscape as Montana. 😊
Great video! I hope that the pasture grows lush and green with the specially timed snow!
It's all about our attitudes, how we view life's challenges. The less import we give them, the easier they are.
When you are on your own, it's always YOUR TURN to do everything! I've lived by myself my entire life. So, yes, I've learned many, many things! The 1st time I do something is a learning experience. After that, I'm the "professional!"
Truth! I've been told that I am a scarily independent woman. But, when you live on your own, it's that or you don't get anything done. I'm certainly not going to give up and move to a city apartment just because there's work to be done.
sometime when a person vents (like CC) it releases the built up frustrations. We all complain, we all threaten to bag it but very few ever really do. Why is that, well in everything we do some irritation's happen, so we vent. The key is here we have seen CC's devotion to her charges and that she'll not let something mundane as weather drive her away. Weather is pretty and is terrible no matter where ya go....
@@M.Campbellwe are intimidating with our independence, stay strong ladies 💪❤🐴
Ditto, and there is no one to tell you that you are "doing it wrong" ! 😆
@@HARDMASADA I didn't think that she was doing anything but venting. Goodness knows, I've done plenty myself.
I will never complain about mowing my lawn again.
🤣🤣🤣😊👍

Your “stick-to-it-to-finish” courage deserves applause. Moisture on the seeds will aid germination and you will be rewarded with lots of green grass. 👍👏👏
OMG!! Duct taping faulty equipment! Break neck seeding in a Blizzard! In your sunglasses!! I am just filled with admiration for the job you do. You're a Pioneer Woman making do with what you have and making it work. And Thank God for Duct Tape!

Hello to Nigel, Skeletor, Huckleberry & Tiny-and all the rest ❤
Once the grass is green, the cold and miserable day will be a distant memory!
I had to smile when you said you made a big miscalculation about the weather. I cannot count the number of times I have been caught in the rain/snow when working outside. I too think I will have “just enough time” but Mother Nature had other ideas. At the end of the day, it is typically worth finishing the job and then going inside to warm up and sip on a hot beverage. You could not pay me enough to be an office worker! Give me the great outdoors doing what I love. Well done clever cowgirl!!
You are really clever cowgirl 😊❤
Good one 😊
In lieu of duct tape try gorilla tape as it is way stronger😊
Great dramatic music when it started snowing! 😂 👍
My husband thought it was too much 😆
Put your husband on that scooter seeding the pasture in a storm maybe he feels the music better, why doesnt hè help you?
I felt your creative editing was PERFECT!
@@TheCleverCowgirl didn't know you are married, always thought you were all alone on that spot 🤔😊😊
You are really growing this channel too. I’ve been here since the beginning and I’m loving this for you. You are a very dedicated, determined hard working woman.
Thank you so much!!
I’m glad to see someone else open the gates like I do 😂
Just a little tap 😆
I always say I shouldn’t do this but that little tap saves me a lot of getting on and off the ATV when you do it all by yourself every step counts
It's amazing what we are willing to do for our animals.
Duct tape is like The Force.... it has a light side and a dark side and it holds the universe together.
True 😂
I’m in Nova Scotia Canada and this last couple of years has been awful for weather. So much precipitation and we even had two storms that broke all the records. A hurricane called Fiona in 2022 and a snow storm this past winter that was way worse than White Juan of 2004. Fiona wiped out my lovely forest and we lost power for a week. I was devastated about my forest and the loss of power was sobering. I don’t know why we haven’t been washed into the ocean with all the mud. So I was ready to pack up and get out until I realized that there is nowhere on this planet earth that doesn’t have its own horrible weather. Some places even have tornadoes, earthquakes and volcanoes. Hang in there! You are in a fantastic place.
We need to pay more attention to climate change and what will happen if we continue to not pay attention.
@@artemisXsidecrossClimate change is a hoax. The scientists who debunk it are silenced. "Climate change" plays into the agenda of the globalists.

Duct tape and WD40….a girls best friend. LOL.
Boy, you do everything. I’m so impressed. You have so much energy. Love your videos. ❤️🐴
I love that: ...no time to figure it out. "So, I am just going to duct tape it". Snow, cold, but --> job done! Just a few more weeks and it will be warm. 🌞
I’m smiling at your use of “chintzy,” it was one of my mother’s frequent expressions ❤
Here In Finland we call it "SISU" . Strength and determination to finish the job even what ever happens around .🥰
I learned something today. Fescue and pregnant mares. Who knew? You did!
I love your videos. Reminds me of my past. I’m 70 now and my body feels the pain of my past hard work on the farm. Please don’t beat your body up!
I am a year short of being 80, and my mind is the only place where I still can ride the range 😉
I didn't realize all the hard work that goes into keeping the pastures for the horses xoxo
One thing about having real winter's are that we enjoy the spring - when it gets going- and the summer's so much more. Winter is nice if it's mild, but when it's harsh, no thanks!
I tell myself that a lot living in Alaska

Loved the dramatic music as the storm was rolling in. I was thinking "Go, Clever Cowgirl! You can do it!!!" lol. Man oh man! Seeing the horses, wide open pastures and the mountains in the distance - sure seems like a slice of heaven.
Mother Nature is always in charge 😮
OMG. That was suspenseful😮. I’ve planted snow peas into snow covered ground, so I could feel the intensity of your determination to get it all done. Captivating story telling - ThankYou!
Determination and grit in Spades! Well done you.
…Beautiful photo of the clouds. I am a big rubber chicken if there is thunder and lightning involved. 😆😁🌾 🐴🌷
I can’t believe that you used to seed these pastures by hand!
Makes for string arms!
Congrats on getting the pastures seeded. Even if it was in a snowstorm. It’s a nice feeling to accomplish a task and get it off your to do list. And that was quite a project! 👍❤

I feel ya... its always something. But you did it. Perservance pays off & will in time!

Good morning
Good old-fashioned stick-to-it-iveness! I hate stopping a planned job because of recalcitrant weather! You be careful, cowgirl. We all want you to stay healthy and keep all your fingers. Congratulations on getting all the top seeding done - what a job. That little four wheeler is amazing, as is your Ingenuity. I'll be praying that your weather is gorgeous very soon! 💕🙏💕🐎
I recognize that kind of weather growing up in northern Wisconsin and there’s nothing better than getting in front of a fireplace after a hot bath after a hard days work is something I actually- miss !!!
Thanks for the video and I really appreciate and can relate to your work ethic !! Not to many people have it much anymore!!!!❤️🐴
Thanks for the ride Clever. It was fun...
See ya later .
CC: You are such a ROCKSTAR!!!!! I'm beyond impressed with how hard you work and how you make things work for you. Lucky, lucky horses. I hope your hands didn't hurt too much when they started to thaw out. Thank you for all you share and do :)
I learned a new word this past winter - graupel. It’s what the little balls of snow are called. Awful stuff when combined with wind. Great work getting it done! I look forward to seeing the results.
That was some Challenge.. and Always optimistic... "I figured I would have Just enough time... 😅" Yeah, don't we all. Extra Points for your determination to get this done.. !! 👍
You got it done and that's what counts! Well done !
You do such a nice job with both audio and video. I would guess that you spend hours on each video, editing and narrating. I feel like I'm right there with you. 🎬👏
Tuesday afternoon: we're getting hammered off and on with snow/sleet. Winter has finally arrived here in Wisconsin... Montana is a wonderful state - reconsider - where would you move to? Take your horses along? No state is perfect, weather wise. I'm 81 years old, and your stories are so refreshing - like the good ol' days. Eager to see what your auction purchases this spring yield for you.
Bless your dear ❤
Good old Duct Tape!
All your determination is very inspiring. 💖💕🇨🇦
That hail will confuse the birds no eating your seed. Your hands looked so cold ❄️❤
Here in NJ the temperature has stayed above freezing, almost all winter, but it has been really wet with all the rain we are getting. My 19 yr. old gelding doesn't have sense enough to come out of the rain and was shivering this morning when he came in to eat his breakfast. I let him out between storms and found him standing in the rain again when I got home from shopping. Looks like rain for the next couple of days so he's just going to have to put up with being indoors..Thinking about moving to SC in a yr or 2.
That was quite a storm. I was glad that I got all of the horses fed and the chores done before it started. We did have to go out and blanket a few of them (the older ones) after it started.
Thanks for the video. I can’t wait to see your lush green pastures when all of that seed takes. 🙂👍✨
I am sick and tired of winter also. 🫤
The beauty of this valley somehow makes living through the long winters here worth it. 🏔️
Good morning 👍🏼🇨🇱
Great video, so suspense-packed! 😳 Love the music 😊👍!
You did great out there 🏆🏆🏆!
I was going to comment on the music too, was very suspenseful!
Beautiful to watch the clouds over the big Montana sky! It’s so interesting to learn about seeding the pastures too. C’mon summer! 🌞🌞🌼
Omg CC you are awesome…you gotter done!! 🤠 I’m the same way, push through…it’s very rewarding when said and done.
How thrilling is that, racing the storm. Well done, the conditions were on your side.
Timing is everything. You😢seeds will settle in and the moisture will get it sprouting. Way to go!
I was really with you ,getting the seeding done, such a relief for you. I hope you warmed up ,and had a rest .x❤
Its been beautiful sunshine here... and more snow on the way darlin... end of week has us scheduled for snow for about 4 days. Love your vids. Thanks CC. take care .
edit... I had to go back and rewatch , I had missed too much.... You did so well, I think that was perfect timing... little moisture to get those seeds started .... and hold them down... I was going to mention putting old tires on your harrows.... sometimes helps.... Well done CC.
Another plug for Kentucky Clever! Property is ridiculously cheap here compared to Montana. Seriously cheap. And you could move close to the Appalachians so your hubby could have mountains 😊 We have a ton of horse people in KY and it's beautiful. And no harsh winters, blizzards, or months of snow 😉
One of our stipulations is the proximity to mountain biking (for the husband) makes it a little tricky!
I'm looking at property in Kentucky in May !! I can't wait 😊
@@TheCleverCowgirl Some mountain biking in the Red River Gorge! (KY)
@@TheCleverCowgirl Definitely awesome places in KY with plenty of Mountains and state/national parks with bike/hike/riding trails. I'm in Glasgow which is South Central. Lots of lakes and caves. Hurray!! Got her done!!Seeded all the pasturs! Yes! By summer you will be happy, you were able to seed during the spring!Good job!😀
We are supposed to get snow in 50mph wind gust today could get up to 12" we need the moisture tho we are in Wisconsin! The snow should help the grass seed! The attachment is a great idea! Weather changed pretty quickly for you! Thanks for sharing 😊
A job well done in horrible conditions, you really are a trooper and I bet you will feel so good when you get home and relax with a lovely warm drink by the fire knowing all the hard work was so worth it. You are bringing back a lot of wonderful memories that I have when I was young with my own horses, sad to say those days are gone but you and your horses really lift my spirit and put a smile on my face. Wow! Good job! You did it!
Hi CC! Admiration for your hard work and persistence increases every time a new video is released. White light to Skelly and best regards to you! JV
I thought of Montana because of the harsh conditions as cheaper housing for everything horse. I talked with an old biker today. He said he used to make pant leggings out of old truck tire inner tubes while he rode his Harley in cold weather. He'd tie them to his belt with string. Kept him warm and dry.
I use trigger finger mittens when I clear snow from the driveway. Any gun supply should have those. Uncle Sam owned mine once.
I admire your toughness. Happy Spring...
You deserve a medal.
Can't wait to see the grass . Looks like you done a great job. The weather sure didn't help either . I do know that you are not afraid of work . Really hope it all turns out great . Thanks for the video CC .
I really enjoy watching you do the chores with the mountains in the background. It’s somehow calming.
Remember-all that COLD keeps you from having mold, mildew and such. But one does not need to have only a 3-4 month Summer to avoid mold & mildew.
I live in SE Louisiana (Folsom, Covington, Bogalusa, etc Commonly called The Northshore, since it’s north of Lake Pontchartrain which is north of New Orleans). Land height of NO literally is 3 ft below sea level (levee system) to up to 8 ft above (Metairie ridge area). I’m 50 mi north, on a high point with tiny meandering streams (like a ditch almost ) & I’m at 200 Ft altitude. There are MANY horse ranches here, mostly racing Thoroughbred stables but also quarter horse. Warm weather plant diseases and occasional drought are our bane, but snow is a very rare and transient occurrence-/-maybe every 6-8 years. Mold & mildew are common.
Gosh, how very remarkable you are! So well done! Glad you could get inside & get warmed up! Those hands of yours work hard…& your bod too…you need a rest!
Nice job, CC!
Your music selection is sooooo dramatic!! Good job! 😊
You Rock! I am sure your seed will do just fine!
It will be so worth it once the seed starts sprouting! Your pastures will be green and waiting for the horses to enjoy playing and munching on!
