Try to be as smooth as possible, learn to not be on the brakes in the corner. Be smooth getting on and off throttle, and use little wheel movement to get the car to do what you want. The more your turn the wheel, the more speed you are scrubbing away
@@rayyoder6545 dang that’s ok, quick question do you need a racing license to drive legends cars, if so how and where can you get them? any information is well appreciated
Incase u didn't find any pricing a new car is close to 20 grand now if not over 20 grand. But it's actually very bug in the US depending on where you live. On the east coast they tend to have more legends than anywhere else on oval. The only thing bad abt these cars is they don't seem to get the respect they should compared to sprint cars or late models.
@@cw5220 Thanks man! Really appreciate it. I love the idea of circuit racing these, but it just doesn't seem to have series in the west that has decent participation.
Like a racecar, sequential gearbox. So conventional clutch is used for starting/stopping, gear changes can be done without clutch, either through a quickshifter/blipper or with skill ;)
@@derjaxxer would it be miserable on a road use car? i have a MG midget roller, and i thought the engine and driveline from a FZ09 would be perfect for it.
Im onto doing it myself, just google and contact teams/organizers. Some people maybe let you testdrive a bit, or buy one and take it to the track. Used ones aren‘t that expensive
That definitely looks fun
Hey, I was wondering if you have any tips for me. I’m 13 and getting into a legend next year. I’m going to be oval racing.

What’s up man. Gonna try and have one of these next year hopefully.
Hell yea! I’m actually about to sell it tho. Going 602 racing I think.
@@rayyoder6545 did you already sell it?
@@NAPA.Cup.Series unfortunately yes 😭

Hey did you do any gearing changes to get it setup for a road course?
Legends cars engines are spec so no transmission changes but rear end changes yes
also suspension
What did you do to be able to drive that track with a noise ordinance? I'm wanting to drive it this year
Just showed up lol. I think inex is making a silencer for the fz09’s
@@rayyoder6545 yea i was talking to someone at AMP and they said only way back is with a quiet car
Do you remember what rear gear you were running?
Nevermind I see it in another comment
Is this a brand new car? Would you mind sharing how much a new one costs? Its so hard to find details online about these cars.
16k brand new. And yup, it’s a new car. Check out the us legends cars website
@@rayyoder6545 Appreciate it!! looks like such a blast, wish the series was bigger in the US!
@@Ghostca it’s huge but really only for circle track. Roadcourse is def getting bigger tho!

What kind of device are you using to get your speed on the video?
GoPro and their editing app most likely.
Gopro 7 and the app for gopro! It’s pretty easy to do.
are you on the inex hoosiers?
Yes
Do these cars have a clutch? If so is it for start/take off only?
i was wondering the same thing
@@NAPA.Cup.Series great minds think alike. Im pretty sure they clutch to start and launch... and then clutch is optional after rolling...

What gear for this track?
This was a 3.42 and worked well
How do I get into legend car racing??

@@derjaxxer Wow! Thanks! I forgot about this comment like almost 2 years ago now.
They're so much fun, I just wish they weren't the ugliest race cars on the planet. Lol
