The biggest scenario or dream run for government PR would be launching VB Sleeper and running it on new Pamban bridge from Rameswaram to Srinagar. Which is again not possible as I do not expect USBRL to open in early 2024. But even if the VB Sleeper runs from Katra to Rameswaram via this new bridge, it will be the best thing to see for the nation.

Thanks for exclusive visit to Mandapam and Pamban for covering new bridge status. thanks again for hard work. Yes VB will be introduced alongwith this Bridge inauguration . However old Boatmail or Sethu or AYC RMM or BBS RMM may or will also get the credit of first run. As per the wishes of Rameshwar and Kashivishwanath or Ayodhya Ram 😮💙🙏🙏🙏However all except Sethu exp is passing train on my home town Kumbakonam .thanks
Incidentally Shashank Kashyap and MK Railyatri was the last RF to have covered the travel and last train passed with passenger was also RMM KCG weekly exp. in old bridge. This old bridge was a momento of loads of memories for real IR lovers for ever thanks again

How will the electric poles be used..when the bridge lifts
When the bridge is lifted the electric poles placed on the bridge will also be lifted and when the bridge is put down the poles too come back to its normal position . There is a method for the circulation of power supply on these type of bridges. If u ask me the name of the method, to be Frank, I don't know
I learnt that there will be no electrical overhead turnout in the vertical lift portion and the train will slowly cross this section by the momentum it has..the power supply would resume after the vertical lift portion
Will get to know once the bridge is ready. neutral section is highly possible
No OHE posts will be there inthe vertical lift section . Neutral will be cut off and Pantagraph will be slightly lowered in this portion. After crossing this portion by the loco Pantagraph will be lifted to touch the overhead wire. This is being followed in nagpur diamond crossing.
@@update4322..so in the vertical lift portion, the train will move by inertia..that is the momentum of the train will push it across the vertical lift portion

Great coverage with details. But there is a catch on electrification. There is IAF facilityat Uchipuli, before madapam and the line runs abutting the fence. , the BG current alignment is not conducive for electrification due fighter plane activity and the electrification did not happen in that stretch .(Like in Arakkonam IAF case, where the alignment was changed later).This was the case untill the existing pamban bridge got closed. Now I don't know as trains are stopped at Ramanathapuram itself..
