Talk about extreme - this is a seriously wild race. Do you think events like the Dakar Rally should be banned because of the high death toll, or is the risk part of what makes legends?
Are we going to ban anything dangerous? Rock climbing? Sky diving? Motorcycle riding? Anyone signing up for Dakar knows the risk. It's about challenging yourself, and they are willing for the risk.
My opinion # whilst it's up there with danger I think the isle of man is more dangerous, i lost a freind there, should they be banned , I don't think so we all know wat we sign up for . Whether it's stepping into my truck at the start of each week , jumping on 1 of my bikes or being pushed onto the track in my twin engined dirt kart , the end results are potentially the same . Should we wrap up in cotton wool waiting for heart failure , stroke , cancer or otherwise, fuck that I was put on this earth for a good time not a long time. So wat happens next will be my destiny.
Great video ... the grotesque clickbait thumbnail you chose is ridiculous and IMHO disrespectful to those you are claiming to promote/support .... FYI I only checked it out as I love endurance rallying ...
Yep. Dakar has averaged 2 deaths per year. It must be stopped! 40,000+ people dying each year on roads in just the US? Cost of doing business! 46,000+ people dying from gunshot wounds in the US each year? Cost of Freedom! Now, what's that word again? Perspective.
I imagine being perfect in all ways at all times is nothing for someone of your caliber. Thank God for you because who'd have ever known what he meant if you didn't point it out. Thanks you so much. You're a true intellectual
And if someone has to try to explain it, you literally never will. It's about pushing yourself to your limits in an event that most people can't finish. Isle of Mann, Baja 1000, ect. Plenty of these events. The fact that there is danger is literally part of the appeal of these events. I know I could never do Dakar, or have the funds, but Baja 1000 is on my bucket list on a bike.

Oh, new upload for a New Year!🎊
Personally, I think if it were banned, dare devils would still race.
Happy new year 😊
no ban , btw i would argue that Isle of Man TT is more dangerous

Isle of Man TT …..hold my beer
Another goofy uploader clipping together more stock video than actual footage supporting the story. So cringe.
