That "special printer" is a Sailor printer. It prints out navigation information fed from the ship's radio communications system
This may be my favorite yacht you have ever visited. Such amazing living space, entertaining areas and amazing head and bedroom appointments.

After "Bering Yachts", "Cantiere delle Marche" is my favourite manufacturer of the sub 60m yachts. I was thinking that it's very rare to see anything on the tank deck. I know in the 60m plus yachts they have refrigeration rooms and and much more as the yacht size increases. I did see one video of a smaller yacht that had a tunnel that went almost the full length, so it was great that Rico gave us a peek into the tank deck. I would love to hear/see more about tank decks. Excellent video as always.
I do believe bearing and CDM pretty much make the same products so it goes down to preference of which yard you would prefer to build your yacht
I used to be all about Nordhavn, but after viewing more Bering and CDM yachts, I completely agree with you..
So nice to see a boat while it's at anchor, gives a completely different feel to it when it's not squeezed in between other boats at a show. So much more light and lovely views.
I really like the layout of this yacht. A nice flow through all the different spaces. The "family room" would definitely be a full office for me. I really did not see much "compromise," meaning it was all thought out before the build. Well done.

No they do not need to have the flap. There are many types.
A scupper is an opening in the side walls of a vessel or an open-air structure, which allows water to drain instead of pooling within the bulwark or gunwales of a vessel, or within the curbing or walls of a building.

When Victoria asked that question, I thought of the expression "scuppers under." Do flaps actually work to keep green water out when the gunwales remain just above the surface? I thought "scappers" was cute. But then, Victoria (or Rico) could steal candy from a toddler and I'd think it was cute.

I need to go and buy a lottery ticket. That is by far and away one of the nicest yachts you have reviewed. A beautiful mix of classic woodwork and free standing furniture. As you said, a genuine, go anywhere home on the seas. Practical and functional and very clever design. Love it.
I absolutely love this explorer, when I win the lotto I would love a vessel like this to live on and avoid the rest of the world . Would be amazing to go up through the northern passage from main and just explore all summer over to and around Alaska. Imaging being able to see so much of the world that so many people never get to see in person

Some things I would do differently from an esthetics point of view but a very nice boat indeed. Bering and CDM are my two favorite explorer boat builders. Thanks for posting the tour video.
Agreed. I think Bering is the apex, but this post greatly expanded my respect for CDM.

That was the best review of a CDM Yacht that I have seen. Well done. Just one thought there seemed to be a lack of freezer and refrigeration space for a yacht with such a long range.

Thanks for another great tour. This boat is like the yacht version of a Foreman's office on a building site. It's like they saw the captain's quarters on an oil tanker and said "this would be perfect for my luxury yacht, but make it less fancy."
It's a miracle it has a hot tub.
Seems like a comfortable enough charter boat, having the usual "barroom" redundancies, but not really intended for super extended stays in this configuration (did we miss more provisions capacity?). I liked the Allseas 92 better as a real liveaboard-wanderer boat with a homelike feel, and I'd love to see what they would do with a longer frame like this.

This is a fantastic tour guys, I really like the touch of doing it at sea away from the dock. I would love to take this boat around the world with a few close friends, it gives me an idea for a reality TV show.
Scuppers have to have the door, otherwise irs a deck drain or fair lead.

For reals, this was my favorite episode to date, Atlas is hands down the most perfect set up for me, I loved every option and the layout was the most logical ever. The use of brass and those flip up storage and pop up tables, the retro feel of the bridge.. Loved it
