Precision Sangeet Mahotsava 2022: Pt Jayteerth Mevundi ( Vocal )

The Sangeet Mahotsav concluded with a brilliant performance by Pandit Jayteerth Mevundi’s of Raga Megh Malhar and Marathi and Kannada Abhangas. Pandit Jayteerth Mevundi is a renowned Hindusthani Classical Vocalist of Kirana Gharana and specialises in khyal singing and Abhang, Bhajans. He was accompanied by Ravindra Katoti on harmonium and Avinash Patil on Tabla. Manoj Bhandwalkar was on Pakhawaj and Vishwas Kalamkar accompanied on side rhythms.
The Mahotsav received an overwhelming response by Solapur Rasiks, especially because they could enjoy it in the theatre after a gap of 26 months!
