This prestigious classical music concert was organized by Pt. Surinder Kumar Dutta (disciple of Bharat Ratna Pandit Ravi Shankar Ji) on Oct 3rd, 2021. In loving memory of Bharat Ratna Pandit Ravi Shankar Ji. All program was planned by Sh. Tilak Raj (A.I.R), Jalandhar. This concert was live broadcast on Sarb Akal music society, Calgary online. This concert began with the bhajan sung by Mr. Anmol Bali, This performance was very nice. After this, there was a Taal Kacheri performance by Sh. Jaidev, Sh. Surjeet Singh and Sh. Subhash Kali on tabla. This item was highly appreciated by the audience. Then, there was a sitar recital performed by Sh. Sweekar Katti from Mumbai performed Karnatki Raga Vachaspati and tabla Sangat By Sh. Mayank Bedekar, this item was highly appreciated by the audience. After that, Vocal Recital By Pt. Jayateerath Mevundi Ji, performed Raga Durga followed by Raga Shankara, and lastly, Bhajan Recital by him. Tabla sangat was played by Sh. Jaidev and Harmonium accompanied by Sh. Vinay Mishra. This performance was highly unique and musically effective. And at last, Pt. Pravin Godkhindi performed Raga Jog on flute followed by Pahadi dhun and Sh. Mayank Bedekar accompanied on tabla with him. This performance was up leveled and loved by the audience.
In this concert Dr. Iqbal Singh Ji, Dr. Mrs. Shobha Koser Ji, Dr. Pooja Parasher (Principal, SD College, Jalandhar.) Mrs. Purnima Beri (President, Harivallabh Sangeet Sabha), Sh. Deepak Bali ji (Gen. Secy. Baba Harivallabh Sangeet Mahasabha), Sh. S S Ajimal, Sh. Nitin Kapoor, Pt. Kale Ram Ji, Pt. Rama Kant Ji and Sh. Raj Kumar Sachdeva Ji. The stage was conducted by Prof. Lokesh Sharma along with Prof. Anu Malhotra.
