  • This is episode 2 of the build of the 3-stall modern roundhouse (H0) from Walthers (kit 933-2900) and the 130’ turntable, also from Walthers. This is a massive build with 33 stalls making it 330 degrees. This takes a lot of extra planning as you will see but it will be worth it.
In this episode I prepare the tracks before they are painted and put in. I will show you a way of doing it so you do not have to raise the turntable pit for a smooth transfer between the bridge and the roundhouse tracks.

So, what happened? You had a really good tutorial going and it was very helpful and then nothing for over a year. Do you plan to continue the series?

Approximately how wide is your table? Trying to get a good idea for the size of this roundhouse and determine if I can do something similar in the space I have!

The table is 170 cm wide. That leaves a bit of room on both sides. On one of the sides I have enough for two tracks. As you can see the longer stalls are placed to make width as small as possible.
