Just spent some time watching this series of videos. I am building the same model but 9 stalls, this has given me some great ideas for my model. Really enjoyed this series cheers.
Are you going to add Walthers Advanced Control Module 933-2321, watch and installed 130’ turntable, wouldn’t have completed without your videos, thank you. Yes I’ve hit the button some years ago on your Christmas channel
That's a newer controller unit than mine and the HEAD and TAIL mode is much easier to figure out than seperate track numbers for each end. I wonder if I can upgrade....
Very Nice Robert. I am not even close to programming my turntable but this should help. My Panel is all grey and Not blue, Maybe an older version? Andy M
Hey Robert! Lots of precision modeling required for this project. Nice work as always! Love the control box as well. Thanks also for the detailed explanation of how the turn table is programmed and operates. - Brian
Robert, I am looking into installing the 90 ft version, do I need the other control circuit board to operate, I am using DCC but only want use the same controller panel that you installed
Question; When you run the loco on to the turntable it is facing away from the head. Then you put it in the roundhouse. Then bring it right back out and turn the loco so it will reenter the same track in the opposite direction. I would assume that you are now going to short out as the polarity is reversed entering the main track. ??? How does the locomotive avoid shorting out?
The Turntable changes the Polarity as it turns around, so it doesn't matter which way the engine is facing, or which track you use. If you have more than one track exiting the Turntable as long as you have the same colour coded feeder wiring, also there is a dead track in the turntable as it turns a full circle, this is when your power will shutdown and re- start, hope this helps cheers Robert

Hello Robert 4 yrs has passed, new layout, 110 ft turntable installed now I need to program , watch your video again
