Hello, this is a basic lesson on how to play Rise Of Nations for your first time.
I did not go into much detail, it would take much longer than a 23 min video to do that. - Ігри
pro tip from someone who started in october 2022: for your first time, be an african country, whatever you do, don't pick an european country, trust me. i reccomend nigeria or south africa, they are really good.
When I first tried I didn't know how to play but it looked very cool.

I wish this tutorial was uploaded earlier, I first started playing in 2019 so I had to learn on my own. But the game was easier in 2019, no modifiers, no policies, no factions, it was pretty simple.
It was, it has changed much now.
I wish I watched this earlier,I always played as Germany because I live there and people were attacking me all the time!

A tip if you are playing in an Apple keyboard for 14:40
I had this issue where alt doesn’t work on the keyboard and instead I had to use left option or left command

But this was useful it's probably because of my smol brain can't handle the game , I feel like I literally need a full day training on how to properly play this since even if I tried I feel like I need someone who is really experienced on the game to literally teach me for a day
Well, you should probably just keep trying. It gets much easier later.
navy tips:
Frigates are cheaper but weaker destroyers
Destroyers counter submarines
Battleships counter every naval unit except submarines
Submarines can take out battleships and aircraft carriers but are mainly used to quickly and silently take out units on transport ships
Battleships and carriers are the best units for ground bombardment
Submarines can take out strong naval units and cut off transport ships
Destroyers & frigates are the building blocks of your navy
Get technology, generals, and training to increase the chance of your navy being successful in battle

edit: now I have 5 mil xp, have a RON youtube channel and have fought the best RON player in a 1v1. I also did basically all formables now
Most videos don’t really tell you what exactly you need to do and how to play,it’s a good start to get a grasp but the best way to get good is experience trial and error,don’t pick a country in Europe unless you know what your doing you get invaded really fast like speed run fast,learned the hard way.Tanks and planes are good but having a lot of infantry with the right tech and maybe a few artillery in the mix will work as well if not better,(and cheaper with no need for oil)

0:44 the thing is about playing Russia, no one wants to mess with you cuz they know they will most likely loose ( in early game ) but late game it’s probably not a good idea unless you’ve expanded a lot

I’ve been playing Ron for a while now, basically 1 of like 4 games I play on Roblox. I find the only reason I have ever subjugated a country was if it was like a small island or somewhere too far away to actually defend mid game.
I started playing todays ago and all I really need to figure out is how to keep my cities supplied cuz even if i do trade and build they still say undersupplied, so I cant even build tanks unless I’m russia (russia already has everything naturally)

In the actual game tutorial when it gets to the unrest part i have no idea what to do because it doesnt say i captured any cities when it says to tap on the conquered city

Once, my troops were stuck into an enemy tank and I couldn’t even select them! So how to fix that? Oh, and another: is the attack instant like do I have to plum move my troops near the enemy or do I have to move them and press something? Also, great video, more helpful that the help tab!
1 just highlight them all then press troops only. 2 if your talking about auto attack just press it and they will attack automatically.

When I started I went for Russia, and did pretty well until Kazakhstan where I stalled and ended up in debts, deficit, oil deficit and lost a lot after lol

whenever i go to war it says to do it more closer to my cities even though im super close to my cities
You said something about how arid biome is bad in summer. Does that change depending on whether you are in the Northern or Southern Hemispheres? In Southern summer is in December January February, and in Northern it’s in June July August.
I think a hot biome in the summer is bad overall. And cold biomes are bad in winter. I dont think the dev is that much into detail.
