I think there might be a way to get a _much_ longer overtime, if you want to rack up kills without the deaths: Play Splat Zones, on a map with small Zone(s), like Camp Triggerfish. Make sure team A is one point from victory at the end of the match, and one of the zones is team A's and one is team B's. One player from team A is the one getting kills. Three from team B are the sacrificial lambs. At the end of the match, an Inkbrush (the remaining team B player) paints team A's zone to begin overtime. The remaining three players from team A ink it back after a point has passed. They spend 14 seconds (overtime ends after 15 seconds) giving ink to the Inkbrush, and the Inkbrush charges in time to thow a bomb and Splashdown on the point, resetting the clock. Immediately, the three from team A ink back the Zone, stopping the clock on the next point. Again, 14 seconds of charging special, followed by the Inkbrush painting the zone and team A taking it back. If the timer stops for 14 seconds on every single point, with 1 second to gain a point, this makes overtime last 25 minutes. Added to the actual game's 5 minutes, that's _half an hour_ of total game time. At 3 kills per 6 seconds, that's 900 kills in overtime alone.
Maybe if you blend the strategy you used for 99 specials and the strategy you used here. Feel free to tell me if my idea will not work. Gear perks...
