I wish I knew places to look here in the Dallas area. We have a creek running through the back of our land in Palmer and I’m going to start looking through there as it floods quite a bit and for the most part it’s clean but I’ve found some older bottles there. It’s about 12’ deep in places maybe more. We live in an older area south of Dallas.

I've recently stumbled upon your channel and I love your videos and information you provide! I have recently gotten into collecting old bottles (among other things) but I'd like to find my own and not just purchase. Finding means much more than buying to me at this point! I live over here in Georgia and it's a bit rural and a bit suburb. We have creeks around my area that get a lot of flooding. What do you look for in a site that may yield possible bottle findings?

Just FYI, that Waterbury Battery Oil is from Waterbury, Connecticut, not County! The city was a major industrial hub up until after the 1940s and is still known as the Brass City due to being the "brass capitol of the world" from the early 1800s and peaking during WW2. I'm local and thought you might like to know some history 😊

Sun's Out/Guns out, brosef! 💪 I've never been disappointed by any waterway running adjacent to RR tracks. Landfill material was used to build up the beds so the railway or spur would rest above the 100 year flood level. That same type of material was used to backfill heavy erosion areas along the right-of-way, which may explain the +/- 30 yr age discrepancies in glass within what appears to be the same stratigraphical layer above the limestone. My apologies for "nerding out". Love the videos Brandon! Please keep them coming!
