One thing I can say about our crew is we may not all be in videos together every week, month or even year however we all talk every week. Every one of our personalities are completely different and we range in age from 24 to 75! History brings us together and we wouldn’t have it any other way! I see way to much drama in this hobby with people getting mad at digging partners or out and out jealousy. I’m so glad that we are not one of the drama filled groups haha!
Digging up old Bottles - digging Up History and a nice working Silver Whistle as well - great Find ! Great Video and many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
Wow guys, glad you enjoyed the dig! What a awesome whistle inside that beer bottle! Thanks Brandon, I really needed a inspirational video to make the weekend more promising and helpful! Have a great day my friend!!!

I enjoyed your video thank you for sharing you had some really nice finds keep up the good work and keep on digging wishing for cooler weather soon 👍👍👍👍🌞🗝️
So great seeing and hearing all the excitement from everyone, all at once, with no edits. That's what it's all about, I believe. Being in the moment. Good that you took creek breaks too cool off, and cut things short to stave off heatstroke! I'm sure y'alls will be back!
Awesome digmen, the heat is on, we have cooler temperatures today and after watching this, I’m going for a little treasure hunting adventure today too, but mine is hunting Indian artifacts, great video!
I really enjoy your videos. I used to love to dig relics. I’m now a paraplegic and can no longer get down to be able to dig. I wish you would put the camera on a tripod and let us just watch you’ll toil away and find the bottles and other items. It’s great to see the wonderful bottles and items you find but I personally want to be in the digging process. Put us right down in the hole so we can watch. Stay safe and God Bless
Tammy, thank you for sharing that. I always wonder about whether or not it's worthwhile to livestream my digs, and this is exactly why I should do more of that rather than just summarize what I found. Take care, Ro
crazy that whistle was in a bottle! You never know in dumps. Accidentally popped out sterling silver pocket knife scales in a farm dump. You really never know
The Lewis Bear Drug Company Pensacola, FL (1876-1900s-ish) In 1876 - the same year that Budweiser was introduced - a Bavarian immigrant named Lewis Bear established a grocery and chandlery (candle-making) shop in Pensacola, Florida. Business family of the Lewis Bear grocery store, candle-making store, wholesaler, franchise drug company, and Lewis Bear Brewing Company.
Hi Brandon, this is not a case of diggin up but I pulled down an old barn and in the rubble there was a smooth sided heart shaped small glass flask. When the barn went down a nail went through the middle without shattering it. I had it on a shelf and an old Marine buddy of mine picked it up and it went to pieces. Just thought I'd share that. Keep up the good work.
Southern Sewer Pipe Works, North Birmingham, ALA ... said 1880s (-1950s) plant production of vitrified salt glazed sewer pipes and hollow bricks and roofing tiles. Earliest historical documents are from 1901 and 1903.
You guys are tougher than me, spending as long as you did it in the high humid and heat 🥵. I'm glad that you were each able to pull out some cool looking old bottles. That whistle was an excellent find, especially since it was found to be inside of the bottle!!! I'm excited for your next videos showing complete unscathed straight side Coke bottles popping out of there 🍀🤞😃
Yes, that was awesome finding the bottle with a whistle in it n the whistle works. It did look like silver or some type of metal. I would think even it being in the bottle it would of rusted or corroded. You did find some cool bottles. I always like the little bottles. I feel ya about the heat. Living in Florida it’s hot n the humidity sucks. ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍
Awesome whistle. My best find in a bottle was a mustard jar. Inside the jar was a perfectly intact Listerine sample size with its label in mint condition. The cap hadn’t rusted off they jar yet and the Listerine had been stuffed inside
Omg what great finds, love that large medicine bottle with the kidney on it, I could feel the History/ Story on it...As always fabulous video..Great job Brandon and friends 😀👍😀
It’s awesome watching videos of you guys hoping to come do some metal detecting with Heath Jones from history seekers maybe we will get to meet up when we come down from north Alabama
Hi Brandon When I used to work with glass we had a glue we called mirror button glue made for reattaching rearview mirrors that stuff would stick that bottle back together.
if you find doll stuff you could always send it to kit and caboodle crafter they are building a doll house of the 30 s with old stuff they find at dump and the beach you should go see there chanel the miniature world of kit and caboodle.yoy guy are very interesting what you find.
The story on the whistle, in the early 1900's women would wear one around their neck. This whistle is one of those, known for the rape whistle. Many were silver! Nice finds guy's, God Bless you all, watch this heat! (Glen). WV.

The small bottle at the end of the video, with the shield and cross on it, looked like a Holy Water bottle. Great video!

That kid is probably breaking the bottles with his shovel. Shouldn't you go a little easy when banging the shovel in the hillside? Awesome whistle.
👍👍⛏⛏
👍🍻
Wow digging again
Clayton is keeping his fine figure!
Very interesting!!!! Must research a HUTCHINSON bottle & do some research on my family’s genealogy 🤣
How would I go about finding an old dump site in my area?
Which are the best books for identifying bottles and their makers?
Apparently I'm not going to get an answer.
Hi Brandon When I used to work with glass we had a glue we called mirror button glue made for reattaching rearview mirrors that stuff would stick that bottle back together.

Looked up the whistle and it’s the real deal!
Keep an eye out for old makeup and perfume bottles!!!❤
Well that "wet Tristin's whistle"!
With a mustache that fine you need some 80's aviator shades
I've dug two 3 in1 oil sample bottles with a label inside the bottle over here in England, i think they came that way.
the normans were from georgia they had train tracks all across Georgia and alabama. there is a small town ing Ga called norman park
How do you find out where the old dumps are?
if you find doll stuff you could always send it to kit and caboodle crafter they are building a doll house of the 30 s with old stuff they find at dump and the beach you should go see there chanel the miniature world of kit and caboodle.yoy guy are very interesting what you find.
I had a wooden whistle but it wouldn whistle. Then I got a Tin whistle. Now, I tin whistle.
Was the whistle bottle a slick? I would keep both.
It was….
I would have great set of glasses
