Woah! Chop Region by Time Division would have made my short-lived UA-cam "career" so much easier! I used to have another program repeatedly press `>` then `Ctrl+T` over and over to chop by divisions.
I don't know if you take requests, but would love to see a breakdown of the new track "Another Life" by Naomi Sharon. Mostly around the Vocal Production than the actual beat tbh. There is something intoxicating about the sonics of the vocals in how the reverb was applied that I can't quite put my hands on. Seeing that she was signed to OVO, I'm sure this was probably an OVO40 production.
@@drvoodoo3073 I don't like it for 2 reasons 1. I do not like how there are 3 tools instead of two 2. I don't like the third tool cause when I hit command it only shows the third tool and not the second one Now i know something is wrong with my shortcuts but making music should not just be efficient but it should be easy to use.
@@prodbysimbapounce If you want 2 tools instead you can configure that within Preferences. Also you can freely assign the 2/3 tools to whatever you want.
in midi editor: edit - delete midi events - duplicates or just option + D not that it helps you with viewing those but definitely helps with deleting them
Hello! On my Imac, When I copy and paste a region, there is a example of where it will be located, but on my my macbook when I copy and paste, there is nothing shown so it is hard. DO YOU KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS? When I say copy and paste, it means copying a region by mouse. ETC Copy first hook region with option key + mouse pressing and locating on the Second hook part
Thanks for all the tips and hacks you've given us over the years been watching since 2017 ‼
Soooo thankful for this video, so many great shortcuts and all explained so simply. Thank you so much!!!

This is the content I’ve been waiting for! The only shortcut I don’t like is the 3 tool shortcut but other than that I’m using all the other shortcuts
Why don’t you like the 3 tool shortcut?

Anyway to see “ghost notes” like FL Studio? That’ll help make melodies so much easier.
At the moment not. There are workarounds but nothing as streamlined as FLs

You can select multiple tracks to see all selected midi in one piano roll. Easy way to line midi up with kicks and 808’s

When I click M it silences the whole track, not just the region?
Once my right click goes away how do i create midi and/or pattern regions on a track then?
Control click and that same window will pop up
