The dance coach recalls trying to get Abby Lee Miller involved in the reboot and opens up about bringing her own approach to the new series. Plus, Glo shares which of her dancers she believes are stars in the making, and teases major mama drama for the new show.

@@KingLauradinentertainment2009 I know right first it was Disney with the remaking the old Disney movie and despicable Me 4 and kung fu panda 4 and now a New dance moms is coming I love Hollywood but we really don’t need a new dance moms show the old one was good in my opinion
I'm actually happy for the new group of dance moms an dancers. I can't wait to see Glo’s impact on the show.

The show is awful compared to the original, even season 8. She’s almost as bad as Abby. Her daughter is the best part of the show!!! She’s grown into a great person!!! The moms are jealous and hateful. The children bully and envy each other. I would never allow my kid to behave like that. It’s hard to watch at some points because you know it’s messing up the children. It’s as if the producers don’t realize why we liked Dance Moms in the first place. We don’t need all the unnecessary drama and disrespect. That’s not why OG fans liked it in the first place. We gave it such great ratings back in the day because we loved the girls! They were so sweet and great dancers! We loved the dancing and the friendship! We liked seeing them having fun! The same with the moms!!! Most of us didn’t support the drama Abby, producers, and Melissa made. (Yes, Melissa was causing drama before the show… that’s one reason they were all hired. Some also, especially Abby, owe Christi a thank you for starting it, and filming auditions.)
We liked seeing the preparation, and what it was like at competition and recitals. We didn’t want to see Abby and Gia disrespect the children. We didn’t like that new people came in demanding/getting the spotlight, and/or having their parents be hateful and mean. Speaking of, poor Shelly and Ally… Gloria was so awful to them for no reason. I wish they would just let kids be kids! Let them dance! Teach them! Respect them! It’s not that hard!

Sorry but Glo lives in the basement of one of her students. The whole dynamic is really weird and makes me feel uncomfortable haha. You think Abby favored Maddie, wait till you see what happens when this woman is thrown on the street for not letting the kid she lives with dance godforrbid.
I’m surprised they rebooted this show. After the OG girls opened up about how awful the show was on their mental health, you’d think people would take a step back. They’re creating a space for it to happen all over again to a new generation. People will sacrifice anything for fame, even their children’s mental health. I really hope the show does better for these girls than it did for the OGs
Yeah, I am very worried. This lady says that she has old dancers who still reach out to her years later, but Abby said the same thing when she first started. In fact, a lot of her former dancers who were working professionally defended her at first (I saw the interviews). Oh! Even the former moms like Kelly said in their lawsuit that Abby was much different before the show.
Abby allowed the show to corrupt her. My biggest fear is that this Glo person will do the same.

glo is a good teacher. she’s not mean but she gives constructive criticism and she’s hard on the girls which makes her a really great teacher.
@@c.h.a.n.n.e.r no one said she wasn’t a good teacher. The concern is about the impact Dance moms has on children’s development. Creating a space with high stress and potential trauma is irresponsible on the producers and stakeholders of the show. The teacher can be the best in the world, doesn’t mean the kids aren’t being negatively impacted by other factors that come with being on a high stress tv show.
Just finish watching the show and it is intense such good dancer and lots of mama drama and worse part of the show is that it ended

i think it’s a bad idea to reboot the show - one: the poor kids and two: it won’t have what the old one did with the og moms.

honestly I have a bad feeling with this woman, I feel they realized they simply couldn't do anything with Abby but the format, despite the OGs sharing their experiences, still works, even for the fact that everyone will compare it to the previous dance moms. They gave Abby new shows but Abby simply doesn't work anymore, all the attempts to make her come back and being likable to the audience failed miserably, that's why they tried again the format with new people and a new teacher. I am not sure if I will watch it or not, she gives me the same vibes as Abby, but with her is like she is waiting to show her true self... idk, I feel we saw a mask of her.

I don’t think that Abby has anything against glow. I just think her and those producers genuinely don’t get along.
This show is just like the old show the producers and moms putting an extreme amount of pressure on the kids. And how do you respect aby when you make a dig at her and say “my kids will still love me in teen years.” Studio blue been dying to make their studio like aby’s Lee studio since the old dance moms. And Glo doesn’t even own this studio. Like I’m not feelin glo, just another clout chaser.
The season was actually quite good even though there was a fair few unlikeable moms and children, I do like Glo she has a lot of depth and a wholesomeness to her. The drama was quite interesting, the dances were good and it was very consistent.
I hate this reboot. All the crying and whining is insufferable and all i kept thinking was, Abby would Never allow this. Every episode the girls were sobbing for no reason.

Abby is evil and is living her karma out bc she was so nasty and disgusting to those children, especially the ones she did not like. She would have the judges change their scores if she didn’t like you. She constantly body shamed those kids, for example, their weight, ears, medical conditions and last but not least, their race. Just a nasty woman. I’m glad this show is different.

This show is full of fake fights/arguments, and horrible acting. This is just a bad remake. Really you had to do the same thing with the pyramid? You couldn’t come up with your own ranking? The dancers are stuck up and annoying already. I don’t know what’s worse the dancers or the parents. This won’t go more than 1 season.

Abby declined Dance Moms, and y’all are applauding her for it. The girls from season 1-7 declined Dance Moms, y’all demolish tf out of them. Make it make sense! Dance Moms made Abby the same way it made those girls.
Has this woman ever danced in her life!! How can u teach something you’ve never done? Anyone can yell and motivate young girls and push them but as for technique what are her credentials? Same for Abby. I never understood that. And yes i recognize she made stars. But I have trouble with this indefinitely. But she deserves the credit for making girls famous none the less.
A good teacher does not have to be a good performer, I know this in the theatre world many of my coaches love to direct and help others become actors but they themselves aren’t
