This guy is forcing company's to put out a better product out. I wish we had a few more 100 of these dudes out kicking ass and calling bullshit.
Totally agree! Feedback loops are critical to producing quality products and services.
i agree
@S Day lol. Seriously though, he seems passionate about what he is doing. Talking about the technical aspect of stuff like this. :-)
He rocks.
S Day he’s just too smart for you to understand
I wish politicians have a least .5% of your honesty. Thank you
We need fewer politicians and more people like Will.
And some brains too
Unfortunately- Politicians give what the people want.
They promise the story people want to hear because most people don't like facts.
Good thing Trump isn't a politician!
Media needs to report facts and not be activist narrative defenders
Will, there are so many UA-cam channels that do "solar and off grid technology" videos. Your knowledge is far superior than ANY of them. It is not just that you know what you are talking about, it is your integrity as a person and your no apologies approach to the subject matter. You call it as you see it. Sponsored or not you are not willing to compromise real world experience or sell out. That says more about you than anything else can. This in turn builds trust for viewers knowing they are getting "honest" information. Other's claim to be unbiased but in reality they have sold out. I commend you for being a good human being. That is SO rare these days. Keep up the excellent work. Your passion is unquestionable. Your integrity is unwavering. I do have one complaint. My wife won't stop telling me how "cute" you are and how nice your eyes are. I can't watch with her. Me, having an ugly mug gets a little butt hurt. LOL. No matter the information you provide is very useful to me so I will always watch your channel. 😂😂😂
Haha thank you 😊 oh wow I'm blushing haha 😅

drphibesrises Hi Will. It's my first time here. Great job, nice work, and I agree with others re thorough review, thoughtful comments, and your integrity. That you are well grounded and have integrity was apparent to me in the first two minutes....and be not embarrassed about your hot looks, gorgeous eyes and intelligence: makes for a great man (or a nice package, if you prefer to state it that way). Best wishes and great (safe) hugs.
Could not have put it better myself.
THIS
I only bought it for emergencies. So I’m charging it, learning about it and I have it on the shelf with all of my other emergency supplies. I think it would do just fine for what I need it for and it’s probably one of the best I’ve seen to fit my needs. I got the solar panel it’s nice that it’s small enough and folds ups so not much space investment. I’m a 70-year-old single woman so I love that it was so user-friendly.
exactly, thats it
Yep, all of our needs are different. We have to go with what works best for us as individuals. Weight, space, price, usage, and simplicity all matter. So I totally understand.
Yup, I had a surprize power outage in winter..Normally I find things to do, but with the short days, and no phone, no cell no wifi, few lights..and during those creature of habit hours...that was it. I decided no more going without.
Emergency yes. Still learning about it. Do hope customer service has improved since this video was made.
Yes, as we get older the weight comes into play. I love the detailed review.
Other tubers didn't give it the critical eye you did Will. Your thoroughness is appreciated.
Hey Will, professional renewable energy technician and teacher here (Europe) .... Really appreciated your video, you answer all the real questions in a useful manner. Probably the best channel I've seen so far. I will recommend the link to my students. Thanks a lot and keep up the great work !
Among the various UA-cam reviewers, you are the most credible. You are fair, honest to the point of being blunt, very well informed, and articulate.
Please re-run the round-trip efficiency.
This is one of the best reviews on this unit! Get a lot of misleading information from Amazon viewers and others. Was really thinking on getting it but not to sure now found it for $999.99 with 110watt solar panel included
im not buying a solar generator till Will builds one for us
Love your insight reviews. Your enthusiasm is really contagious. would be. great to see you create some product of your own.
Agreed. When is the kickstarter campaign?
well, thats basically what the Titan solar generator is :P they basically asked him what to make and they did it
Yea I have no idea why he isnt doing that.
Plus one for this. Easier said than done, but I've seen enough at this point to know I'd trust you and anything you make. Also, if you ever need any assistance please do reach out.
Other UA-camrs might be bigger, but there isn’t one better when it comes to these kind of things. Great no BS review as always.
Guys and Gals understand. They are going too send it to those youtubers that "CAN NOT" do a deep dive review like Will. Will you did not get it first or earlier because they knew you are totally capable of a REAL prof review. Great job.
That's not why but they just under staffed and support isn't that knowledgeable
RIGHT ON!
When I watch Will doing a review I am reminded of the power of loving what one does in life. This is the key to being exceptional at whatever it is you choose to do. Well done sir!

I absolutely love this brilliant young man!!! Been subscribed for years... always knowledgeable, thorough, ethical, and, at the end of the day, takes no prisoners. Have learned so much from you,. Will, thank you!
I have recently dealt with Ecoflow’s Customer Support and I must say I am very impressed with them. I was very critical of them a year ago, but now I think they listened to the criticism and have completely revamped their Customer Support. It is definitely one of the best I have dealt with of any company.
Hey Will, 2 years ago during hurricane Irma I lost power for 6 days. I was totally unprepared and lost all my refrigerated and frozen food and couldn't get a hot meal or drink so I decided to research generators for this upcoming hurricane season. I knew nothing about solar generators or solar power in general until I found your channel . I watched all of your product reviews over and over again and learned so much. Using your reviews I picked the solar generator an panel that was right for my needs, and it will arrive in time for the start of hurricane season. I can't thank you enough for your informative and honest reviews that helped me with what is a major purchase for me. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Which one did you end up picking?
@@DouginHanover I picked the Eco Flow Delta and EF 110w solar panel. If fact I'm so pleased with it I bought another set yesterday on HSN for almost half the price.
IDK Will, for use in a camper van, that is going to have it's own dedicated electrical system, an extra $1000 price tag, for a finicky unit, made by a company with poor customer service seems pretty extreme.
I only ran into your channel 2 days ago, but I've been seriously binge watching your videos. Based on what I've seen so far, I have no doubt you could design and build a better mousetrap than what this unit provides. Even if it wasn't in such a pretty case bin it's R&D configuration. It's really nice seeing a young person these days, with as much intelligence and drive, as you have. Keep up the great work!!
You are the only person I trust for an honest review. Thank you Will!
Thanks for such a thorough and objective review. Your enthusiasm at the beginning when it was charging so fast was infectious. Please keep reviewing these solar generators. We need to buy one this summer and are depending on you.
I bought this and loved it so much I bought another one on the black Friday sale last year. It says in the instructions that if it goes all the way to zero that it will be limited charge until it reaches a certain point. I can't remember what percentage that is. I don't have my instructions in front of me. But I have been using one of these in my cabin as a back up to my all in one unit if I need it. Boy it works great when I need to microwave or run my blow dryer it works great. I use the other one in my camper and it's fantastic. Also just so you know I credit you for giving me the confidence (56 year old single female) to build my all in one solar system at the cabin. My all in one growatt 3000 has been great. Everything worked the first time I turned it on and has worked flawlessly ever since. It's fun to play around with this kind of stuff. Thanks again for all your help you are an excellent teacher.
I own one of these, it does a great job. I agree, part time weekend warrior, or emergencies… excellent choice. Runs my microwave, tv, charges phones, iPads, runs lights, coffee maker, induction cook top.. not all at once of course. I am very happy with it. It has its limitations. Perfect for what I need when I need it. Wouldn’t depend on it every day for sure. Charges slow using cigarette lighter, and 200 watt solar panels. But I like if … just know it’s limitations. Thanks for the review. As always.
Just got one (haven't received it yet) to power a few things in a remote cabin on the weekends in the summer. Everything you (and he) said leads me to believe I shouldn't have any issues. Thanks for your post!
Thanks for the comment! How long does it take to charge on one 200 W panel pls? Ty!
@@uber2tuber Looks like with four 100w panels about 4 hours. This system comes with two 100w panels so figure about 8 hours. AC charging an hour or two and car cigarette lighter with the car running, about 10 hours. Maybe a gas generator for fast charging when there's not a lot of sunny days?
@@gumby3057 Thx so much for the info. Yes, I have a backup Predator 2000. and I think I'm going to put a 415W panel on my fiberglass roof, instead of a 200 as I'd planned. thx again!
You are extremely honest about your reviews....also giving explanation with comparisons to other brand's. Well done.
Dude you have the best solar & battery reviews. Love the technics without BS. Thank you!
Just starting to learn about solar generators. Don't understand a lot of what you describe. But your enthusiasm says it all!!
i just watched your previous video and i would like to say im happy to see you doing well . i been watching your vids since 2016 and they just keep getting better.
This guy is way too smart. I felt like he was talking Chinese half the time because I couldn’t understand half of what he was saying but I trust in his knowledge. Great video!
Will
Hello, I thought your review of this unit was pretty good, however as one of the other guys mentioned, pushing it to it's limits is not necessarily the best place to get it's efficiency rating, I am a retired Electrical and electronics engineer, and I have to tell you that what you have shown in this video is worst case efficiency.
The other thing that I would like to mention is that when it comes to battery chemistry I absolutely agree with you about Lifp04 as being the Superior battery.
1. They have the longest life expectancy in the industry.
2. They have a nominal cell voltage that makes them a good replacement for lead-acid batteries.
3. They are very stable, not a fire hazard from anything other than a short circuit, which would occurr with any battery type of significant amount of energy storage.
4. And one more thing I like about them is there extremely flat discharge rate, which is one of the reasons that I think most of the people building these portable solar generators are not using them, because you can't use a close scale voltage monitor as a state of charge indicator, for an accurate reading, you have to use a meter that measures the current removed or replaced against time and displayed in amp-hours.
The other reason is that the capacity in amp-hours/kilogram is only a little over half that of lithium Cobalt.
And sense they want to make them as small and light as possible, lithium Cobalt remains the battery of choice.
Now as for this unit not being a good choice for daily use, I have to disagree with you there, unless they are fully discharging and recharging it every day, and at or near the maximum rate.
Remember that that rating on those batteries is based on 100% DOD, so in reality I think that what you would find, is that the battery would probably hold up about as well as any of the other unit's out there under normal usage. Now if you were say using it on a construction site every day to run power saws and other various high current devices, and then taking it back to the office or home and plugging it in so it's ready for the next day, yeah that's probably going to take a toll on the battery but if it is used in a camp trailer or RV and connected to solar panels where it's being charged every day to recover from the night and then mostly floating through the day, I think it would most likely fair as well as any of the other units out there, especially when you consider that the big loads will be a microwave, and even if you use it to make a baked potato, you're only looking at 8 minutes most everything else is between 20 seconds and 3 minutes.
The other hi draw items would be a coffee pot, and maybe a toaster, or an electric griddle.
All short term use high demand items which that 1800 watt inverter won't have any trouble with.
But otherwise a great review.
Robert Thomas One of the most difficult things for me to find on the web or UA-cam is a real world ‘what can I do with this’ description to help me visualize how I might use a portable station like this in my tiny 10x16 cabin. Your reply really helped. I cook and heat with propane, so it’s more about all the other things like lights, laptop, iPad, cellphone. Lol, this was never an issue for me until I plugged into a 30a pedestal at a campsite the first time and realized what it was like not to have to make sure I had plenty of batteries and battery packs charged for the items I listed above. Now, I’ve crossed the line and have the Jackery 500, a portable solar panel, two “intended to be fixed” solar panels, inverter generator and a very cool through the wall 30a inlet to a 120v 6 outlet package.
I'm looking for something for my house for emergencies. Fridge, freezer, AC, microwave, heater. I wouldn't expect to run all of these simultaneously or even all day long. I'm sure I could stagger usage. I don't want gasoline, loud, etc. And I would like portable to be able to lend to family members if needed. I'm watching videos on this, Bluetti AC200, Titan, etc. It would be tough to justify the cost of the Titan. Especially since it does not look very movable. I can't find anyone talking about these ready made devices for home emergency power. Is that because none of them are appropriate for that? I welcome anyone's comments/advice.
what you think if i wanted for like the electricity goes out for 3 days and i only use it for a refrigerator but only throughout the night say 7 hours.. cause in the day time i use my generator . for less noise at night i use the inverter?
THANK YOU.
I fully compliment Mr Will Prowse on an exceptional job of evaluating and reviewing products and telling it as it is. I always watch your channel. Keep it up. From Precinct 9, Putrajaya, MALAYSIA.
Hey will, Hope things are good. First, Wanted to say thank you for all you do for us, You don't have to for sure so greatly appreciated. Wanted to mention something I found interesting. I actually purchased one of these Ecoflow deltas. Even with the drawbacks you pointed out I thought for our camping/Survival type use it was one of our better options. One of the biggest complaints and one of my biggest issues was the 800 charges/ 60% capacity issue stated in the book and pointed out by you as well as being terrible. Strange thing, I was registering the product when something caught my eye. On the webpage it claims that after 800 charges you will retain min 80% capacity, Humm, so the book and the webpage are in fact different. I reached out to the company and within about 12 hours I had a response. The email states that in fact the website is correct and they are aware the book is wrong and are getting it corrected? They assured me I will retain the 80%. Makes me kinda wonder however because this review you did is over a year old and your book also stated the same capacity rating. Just something that made me wonder and I wanted to pass it along.
I love this kind of review! So technical yet easy to digest for a guy like me with no robust electrical background.
As I’ve recently retired, I believe this would work perfectly for my needs. Plan is to build a cargo van into a camper to use a couple of weeks a year at the lake, a couple of family camping trips a year and a cross country trek. Should suit me fine! The fast charging time and six outlets is what sold me!
Your honesty is refreshing. We can always trust your reviews. Please never sell out.
Hey Will, excellent, excellent review! Thank you so much.
I would be buying this as an emergency backup power source for my house. Our electricity goes off several times a year with the littlest of storms. I would love to see a test where practical items needed during a situation like that were plugged in at one time. Maybe a couple of lamps and the refrigerator to see how long it would last. I have not been able to find anyone who has pluged multiple items in at tn he same time, and I would rather see that test from you than anyone else on UA-cam!
love your enthusiasm for kicking company to think of a better way of making their product even better.
Your voice is soo soothing to listen.
I was thinking you were about to talk a whole in my head and waste time talking about bs. I was wrong!!! You kick ass with reviews. Honest and straight to the point. I'm voting for you
Thank you for your videos!
I think you are a really honest person.
Thank you !
Will you saved my bacon, here's why, Wife and I are to retire real soon, 6 months from now actually, so we decided we're going to do the van life thing. I am technically minded and had my own handyman company for a while. I will be converting the van myself and have found your videos to be the best out there so far as the electrics go, very helpful and informative. I was looking at the option of getting a power pack to power up the electrical components in the van as apposed to the stand alone option as I wanted the van to be totally self contained so far as power goes.
I was going to purchase a Ecoflow delta pro, but upon seeing your honest and comprehensive review I will be opting for the stand alone option.
Can't thank you enough for the review and saving me the headaches that would have followed.
You are the best! Love that you share your knowledge with the rest of us. Like others, I also appreciate your honesty.
Hello and I purchased an EcoFlow 1300 a month and a half ago. I got it for emergencies because where I live at in NC, we do experience power outages due bad weather or when someone crashes into utility poles. Thank you for your video and for the most part, I understood what you were saying. I am not tech savvy and so I appreciate this video.

20:40 MOST are going to be using this for camping in the SUMMER when it is Warm.
Okay WILL enough with all the mumbo-jumbo stuff it's time to open it!!!
@@f.a.r.o.1954 YES !!!! THE BEST PART of the Will Prowse Videos : " Breaking and Entry " !!
He makes a good point about usage. I bought two of these and so far I love them for what I'm using them for- power for my video cameras, small monitor and WiFi equipment. Charge speed is a huge plus.
Thanks Will for your fantastic honest reviews. Someone needs to hire you to review their products so they can fix issues in their designs before they are manufactured. Keep up the great videos!
Just bought one today. I’ll give you my review as soon as I figure it all out. This is for emergency use or camping so it should do everything we need it to do.
I'm interested , it's exactly what I need for a couple days a week use BUT customer service is a huge concern . You can have the best warranty in the industry but if the company won't stand behind it, it's useless. I will watch for reviews on Amazon for awhile I think and then make the decision.
As always though, great review!
Well???
I just ordered one. I hope I have no problems.
that kind of fast charge is SO USEFUL for using with a genset
That is a great point! That plus what I already said about it being good as a backup to PG&E means that this thing is even better suited to be a backup to PG&E.
Thats what I'm saying!
Thumbs up to Will for giving such an honest and detailed review over the product that has been trending! I bet I wouldn't even know it so well if I have it in my hand! The fast charge was such a market-changing feature, even though it cannot be charged more than once a day. With a capacity like this, I don't think anyone can really achieve a fast charge without solving the rising temperature problem. Smaller capacity versions like Nikota 300Wh and Marbero 88Wh don't concern me as much even though it has a smaller capacity. Tech for bigger capacity is not available until the battery field has a technology revolution or these companies are willing to use water cooling systems. But yea, it would cost more to produce.
I will preorder a battery made by this man!
That has got to be the best review of any product I have ever come across. He answered all my questions.
Wow, what a detailed, technical and unbiased review! Thank you! Looks like they must have listened as the EcoFlor Delta Pro does use lithium iron phosphate batteries, improving their efficiencies as such. Any chance you'll review one of those the same way? Would love to see a back-to-back comparison.
I would pick Will as a reviewer over any other out there. Extremely knowledgeable, to the point (no useless personal info), super well edited.
Great review Will! Also: you're not crazy, my testing also reveals drastic inefficiencies on the AC output. Still, a solid product if (like you said) you are the right type of user. Keep making excellent content!
I could tell within three seconds this was going to be a great video and subscribed!
Great review and very objective and professional as well. I think based on your comprehensive evaluation, that if the components were sold with the ability to place them in more of a larger space (like a kit) that could allow for placing each component where one would like, it would perform much better. Thanks again for such a great eval.
Great review! Unfortunately like many other people, i bought my unit before i watched your video! Now that i am stuck with an overpriced power bank with poor cycle life, we need you to do a video on how to swap out those batteries with better ones! Thank you.
Hey Will- so glad you did this video test of the Ecoflow. Like you were initially, I was pretty excited to see the stats and power capabilities of this unit. The fact that it can power anything you can plug into a wall outlet is a HUGE advantage. However, through your test of the unit, I can see it also has some drawbacks, and probably would not work for our power needs in a remote location. Great job, and glad to have you out there doing the work!
What solar power station will work? Thank you!
Newer videos in 2022 indicate the customer service is good now. Thanks for your in depth review.
Thanks for easy to understand but brutally honest review Will. As we all know customer service is paramount followed by reliability. It can make or break a product
quickly. 🚩 🚩
The “lifetime battery warranty” is only as good as their customer service. 🤔
......OR until they sell out to another company,,,,,,,,,,it happens frequently.
I just love it when you get excited about a product
I love the honesty behind all of your reviews (sponsored or not)
Thanks for your honest review. Appreciate your inclusion and assessment of customer service, or lack of. This is very important to anyone of limited knowledge who might genuinely need some help. It can really impact the user's experience, and sales of the product. I'm still considering getting into one of these things. Really helps to learn from your videos. Thanks for sharing.
A thorough and well-documented review. I appreciate that you noted the UL listing on this unit. (it IS important) I kind of think of you as the UL label for solar stuff.
I will say one thing, I’ve enjoyed watching the videos of yours I’ve seen so far. Those who leave crappy reply’s to you, are those who hate hearing the truth. Some of us appreciate the brutal HONESTY YOU PROVIDE and all the helpful videos you post on here. Keep doing what you’re doing...
Thanks always go out to those who are honest.. Tim
Good review, looks like a solid device. 1C is one hour charge time and is safe for pretty much every cell. Although huge cells might be a different story. In the old days we'd charge our RC car batteries at 5C, if I'm recalling correctly.
Just found this channel. This dude is good. Subbed. This guy is knowledgeable with his shot. Love it.
So excellent for camping / emergency use.
Thank you Will. I'm glad I checked out your review on this first. One of the things you pointed out( & glad you did) that really chaps my hide is lack of customer service. They take your money when you want their product but when you want their customer service, they go ghost on ya. I enjoy your honesty. It's refreshing.
Companies just refuse to understand: CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING!!! I am willing to buy a product that maybe is slightly less quality, or I'm willing to pay more for an item, **provided I get good customer service!**
Customer service -not their product- is the **number one** feature that reflects on a company. It shows how much they care about their customers. Also, if they're not willing to engage, what are they afraid of? Why are they hiding? When a company does not engage promptly and often, it tells me they don't stand behind their product.
Linda Sue I totally agree. Customer service is a big consideration when buying items nowadays
Linda Sue YOU, my dear, are absolutely correct !!! You gotta have something to set you apart from your competitors.
I've tried to reach Ecoflow for 10 days about a product I want to buy. I made comments on a local social media site - their Tech replied, several days, trying to help me reach a rep by phone or email. 10 days - before I got a call from Manila. Now, the equipment I want to buy is not ready for market, maybe by December, they aren't sure of price, dimensions of equipment, extra battery price and I can only get in line, online, for contact sometime in December. But we all know now that it is just a maybe on that!
Yes, customer service problem. If they can't contact you when you want to spend money, what makes you think they will call you once your money is spent and the product fails???
Many companies dislike it when they are "given the business" B4 being given the business.
@ferkemall ... Kinda like the Discount-Tire commercial. Old lady toss tire thru window.
I don't understand everything you talk about but I bought one of these due to your review. I don't plan to use as a stand alone station unless we have a power outage.
I would argue that one of your "con's" is actually a "pro" - thermal battery protection; maybe excessive, but that will translate into many more cycles over the life of the battery. So maybe a con for a testing scenario, but in the real world; a pro. Keep up the great work!
Don't fall for that.
Reassuring to hear you assessment especially the pros. It is very portable 30lb weight, great hand holds which also provide tie down points. Up to 3 units can be pony tailed together. I plan to carry one in the truck cab or keep in shed at home to use as needed and charge with solar panels. The new much larger honking "delta pro" is 3 times larger, 3x the weight, has a 30amp rv plug and a plug to charge it from ecar fill stations, ready-made to evacuate . Enjoy your enthusiasm and I'm learning a bit from your videos, thank you.
Hello Will,
I think it’s fair to say your fans are eager to have you design/build one of these portable power stations to purchase.
I am going to upload my slow by significantly appreciative reaction to the fact that I only understood that my inverter was being bypassed by my solar input because I watched this video. I am testing appliances, a mini refrigerator showed no output when approximately 100 watts of solar was being received. Thank you for great review.
Will, can you start opening up these battery banks, in the reviews? I think its important to know the build quality inside
Started Following when you first started here.... So proud you've come so far.
best youtuber
Very thorough review! I bought this for camping then watched your clip. Thank you for your review. I appreciate it!
Great review, I just bought the Jackery 500 for camping with a small fridge, I was lookng at this one but too much $ for now with the van build. Eventually Battle Born will adorn this abode.I am actually starting to understand what your talking about after 2 years of watching you. Thanks for the education.
I have this eco flow delta got it just for Hurricanes and power outages to run a fan and other small appliances. Works great and is easy to use for me. Have a gas generator for bigger things. Thanks for the review.
They cant handle the truth.... their obviously afraid of you.
*They’re
Honestly hes just speaking gibberish to me tbh
I have watched two of your videos now.. I have learned so much. And I love that even though they are sponsored, you speak the truth!
How about a DIY video to build a portable EcoFlow equivalent to your specs. I know you can build the perfect portable power monster with a long life. What do you think?
I agree👍👍 If you build your own solar generator, Will, I will certainly buy it from you. Have a kick-starter for your generator. I would definitely want to be part of the kick-starter process.👍👍
Thank you for being honest and giving real info, never sell out please!
Fast charging and in/out efficiency are contradictory goals. If you want fast charge times the battery will heat up and this reduces efficiency. If you want high efficiency the charge/discharge times will be slow.
It's a trade of between the two. You are correct when you say it is a good camping battery but less ideal for a daily charge/discharge cycle.
The fast charge is crucial say in rolling blackouts where the utility renergizes the region you are in for a brief period of time while it shuts off others, and then re-deenergizes your region again. Its a strategy utilities may have to resort to to keep the grid energized. Once they lose the grid it can take days to bring it up again, or weeks. Example..powers been off 1-2 days but there is a 1/2hr long re-up . Half is better than nought.
WOW!
So, I am one of those critical shoppers, that mulls over everything that is on offer, in order to find a fault, that would stop me from buying said thing.
Well, I think I have found someone (you Will!!), that is prepared to take things even deeper, than I ever imagined!
Hat down to you young man.
I wish there were a lot more of "YOU" out there, so you could actually show the younger generation of today, that each product has its pros and cons and that careful planning will reward one with the right product for her/his application.
I am sick and tired of many "people of today", who just want a quick answer (to everything!) and haven't got the time, to listen to someone like yourself, who is prepared to make the effort and answer the many questions we all have.
I am researching a Solar system for a van, so it can power a compressor fridge in summertime and in higher ambient temperatures.
You have so far answered many of my concerns!
I truly hope, that you keep educating others about the things you are passionate ..... and for a long time!
Thank you, for taking the time to make/edit this video!
Battery Wars - lol
The competition is heating up and fun to watch.
Hopefully in the near future the prices will drop to the range of lead acid batteries.
Excellent work on the videos on your channel, Will! I am learning so much from you. My students will be studying solar power later, and some of your videos will be perfect for the lesson.
Some reviewers are concerned about the customer support failure of the Ecoflow brand manufacturer. The Ecoflow 1300 is available through Home Depot's website. This is important if you want to streamline the little problem of trying to return a defective unit. You can also buy a three year protection plan from Home Depot with the purchase. (They do have a warning: "We're unable to ship this item to homes and stores in: AK, GU, HI, PR, VI.")
I've never seen you so animated and excited during charging of a battery pack. Great review as usual.
Will's enthusiasm for tech reminds me of Star Trek's "Scotty". You've got to smile even though you may not understand half of what he's talking about.
WILL !! YOU SAID they sent out to bigger UA-camrs ?? I don't know "ANYONE" that does the type of reviews you do !! I would think you're known to the industry as someone to pay attention to and to give some kind of priority to ??!!
194k Subscribers isn’t small!
Exactly! This reflects on their attitude overall! Who cares who is the bigger UA-cam? I'm looking for quality!!
Steve Vandeman Your Ecoflow shill response does not make sense. It appears by your responses that you need to add the disclaimer of a paid endorsement!
Steve Vandeman Very obvious since you have responded to others posts here so many times your shill status is becoming very clear 😉
@@Curb71 .002% of the world population really opens my eyes to how small his channel is.
Great. I just found your channel after I ordered my product! I just hope mine gets here soon and I get good customer service
Thank you. I appreciate your comprehensive review.
I have questions; I read the manual online. As I understand it, there’s something called UPS MODE where when plugged into AC the output power will be a “pass through” with the output power actually coming from that AC outlet, and not from the internal batteries. Is that true?
And when in that UPS MODE should the AC input power be lost, the unit’s internal batteries will automatically kick in. However, does that work in reverse; if the unit is outputting from the internal batteries, and the AC input is introduced, will the output power switch from being provided by the batteries to being provided by the AC input?
Thanks again.
You seem generally enthusiastic and honest with your reviews. Great job.
Only thing missing is I was hoping to hear your recommendation for a daily solar use alternative. Most times it’d be a weekend Warrior thing or backup power at home but I’d like to have the option for SHTF situation for more permanent or semi-permanent mobile solar power situation
Are there any "almost-all-in-one" units which would have everything but the batteries, something that'd support LiFePO4? I guess it would be difficult to sell one that would support anything but batteries of a specific capacity?
No because the size of the components inside will have to be sized according to the loads it will see.
After watching a few of your videos, I can promise I will never buy anything without seeing if you have tested it first lol. Amazing video!
I’m curious if this is the same one available on Amazon right now, it is listed at 800 cycles to 80%
Edit* the website says it is Lithium ion with 18650 cells, maybe it’s a newer model
I just got a Delta on Amazon for $999.00. I also have the Max and two 110 watt and one 160 watt Ecoflow Solar panels and love them.
I am very happy to announce that after over 3 months of intensive contact, PA Attorney General and a private attorney, I finally received my refund for an EcoFlow 1300 that I never took delivery on. Ridiculous. This is what you have to expect if you deal with EcoFlow. I honestly hope that no one has to go through an ordeal like this when dealing with this company.
Saving my money
I bet you paid more money for that attorney bill 🤣

I like your take no prisoners attitude and the straight shouter ability, thx 🇨🇦👍🏻
