Vandoorne deserves so much more, but he just doesn't have the money... And even without that he still managed to make it his job, because he's just so fast. First time I saw him was is 2013 formula Renault 3.5 in Spa, he was just the best. It's just sad that money still gets chosen over talent.
Such a sad story. Zak Brown put a knife in his back. Stoffel should be in F1. He easily has the talent. But Mclaren let him down. He could certainly be in the group of drivers that could have become champion. I will never forgive Mclaren for what they did to him. Although they gave him a chance before with Ron Dennis, Zak Brown wanted him gone. I hope he can become FE champion and get a chance then in F1. But looking at the way the F1 operates it seems like he never can proof that he is the real deal. Sad
It's a terrific shame that such a talented and gutsy driver never got the opportunity he needed to perform... McLaren just gave him terrible cars and expected him to beat a two time world champion who'd been in the team for three years. Hopefully he can return but as you say it's not likely.
In all honesty Zak Brown will be out soon. And true McLaren stabs everyone so Danny boy keep your eyes peeled. Lando don’t let Zak take you down with him.
@@JebMotorsport Not to mention he held a gap against PRIME Alonso similar to that of Raikkonen and Massa, in what quickly became one of the worst cars on the grid McLaren’s downfall in 2018 is insane, Alonso made Q3 just twice all year
Thing is, even after hamilton, vettel and raikkonen retire, he might still have trouble finding a good seat, unless williams have a good car and want him after george leaves for mercedes
Definitely a missed opportunity driver similar to Wehlein and many many others that were just in the wrong place at the wrong time sadly. We can only imagine the multitude if what if scenarios
It's gutting - similar to Magnussen, Wehrlein, oh so many stories from that era where a driver has a stunning junior career and never quite gets a fair chance at F1. Hope you liked the video Alex!

We know we'll have a very good driver in our car." Wolff hails the team spirit and loyalty of Stoffel Vandoorne, but that apparently is only single sided. In my book I'd call Wolff (and by extent Mercedes) not a team player, not loyal and just a blatant liar.

Absolutely agree, Stoffel should’ve taken Hamilton’s seat... anyway...
I hope stoffel finds a seat in the f1! But its gonna be difficult... let’s start With the FE championship!!
Yep I think he will win
I am from Belgium and was so sad that the only Belgium of the grid was fired by f1

But none of them had such an impressive build up to the F1 as Stoffel had.
Love the channel, amazing content, keep it up!
Thanks very much!
Another great analysis, nice one Jeb!
Definitely got the short end of the stick. Deserved better. Could do worse than a works deal with Merc in a race winning FE seat.

Love this video and love this channel. Just subbed, would be nice to do a collaboration one day ;)
Thanks very much! We will see about the collab 😉
Stoffel deserved better yeah, it was just bad timing at McLaren.........
Formula E is gonna take off. He shouldn’t leave. Motors are only gonna get faster.
Hi
It's a massive shame he didn't get the chance once he was dropped, he's a great driver and it just shows how F1 is that he can't get a seat
Money and reputation talks, and in this case it was shouting over the top of everyone else...
0 dislikes???
Money money money, its not funny in ab f1 world
