Currently, I'm writing my master's thesis but when I'm finally finished, I'll reward myself by learning how to embroider and then I'll do that on our clothes too! 😊 P.S.: I'm from Germany and I originally wanted to go see Joe Hisaishi's concert in London September '22. But due to Covid it got canceled and postponed a year later. Then in 2023, I couldn't attend because I was pregnant and on October 3rd our son was born 😅 I'm still hoping to get to see Mr. Hisaishi one day.... ♡

No bake mango cheesecake 1 cup pecan 1 cup walnut 1 cup desiccated coconut 1 cup pitted dates Pinch of salt Blend mixture until fine Pour into baking pan and firm to make base crust Soak 3 gelatin leaves in water for 10min 300g mango 200g cream cheese or coconut yogurt 150g whipping cream or coconut milk Blend until smooth Melt gelatine in microwave for 30sec until dissolved Add it to mango mixture Pour onto crust add any leftover mango into the layers Place in fridge for 3 hours to firm up

I loved my little flat country and found a lot of charm in the rural areas and some exiting entertainment in Amsterdam . I loved going on vacation in the warmer countries in the south of EUROPE. every country has its own character, and culture. That made our vacations so attractive. The food was different everywhere. That was in my time I was born in 35. I left in 74. I am sure there have been many changes . Of course I went back often to visit family. But usually didn’t travel outside of that. If I could chose now I would choose to live in France. I relate to the culture and the rural part of the country. At my age, with mobility issues I am staying in California. I came here because my Canadian husband lived here. He has been gone long time but my kids are here so I stayed. I was always home sick for Holland and for some parts of Europe. Excuse me for being so longwinded. All you had to do was ask ! I adore your serene peaceful videos your beautiful little girl and your tasteful home. You are a lovely family. My favorite channel. That is the most beautiful sewing box! The embroidered clothes turned out so sweet. I make a similar desert when the blackberries are ripe. The same sort of crust is pressed into shallow bowls. Then mashed mango layer, and finally blackberries mashed as center, and looks like a flower. It is very good with pecans as the nut. It is a favorite desert for my husband and son.

Unfortunately, however, I am completely in denial...What excites me about May? The idea of being able to experience a bit of spring which here in Italy is still slow in showing itself, but generally it excites me to hear the chirping of the birds, to be able to walk among the nature and enjoy some sun. Später, wenn ich Kleider oder Faschingskostüme für meine Kinder genäht habe, war sie immer anwesend, obwohl sie schon längst nicht mehr bei uns war. ❤ Das Konzert wird auch mein Sohn besuchen, er wird im Mai 19. I had no idea that water-soluble embroidery transfer paper existed! I haven't embroidered for years, since my eyesight started to fail, but I remember learning as a little girl from my grandma. She would draw a simple pattern for me on plain paper and tack it to the cloth with a few stitches. I would embroider over it, and when I was finished, she helped me pull the paper out from under my work. It was painstaking for her, as she had arthritis in her hands. Such warm memories. Thank you for bringing them back to me!
Excited about blackberry picking at a local farm! :) You have also inspired me to start an embroidery project (pillowcases) I've been putting off. I've never embroidered and need to learn some stitches via UA-cam. Lovely video!

Wow, you're so talented, you're very creative, congratulations! It reminded me of my mother who sewed beautiful garments by hand or by knitting for my sister and me when we were little. Unfortunately, however, I am completely in denial...What excites me about May? The idea of being able to experience a bit of spring which here in Italy is still slow in showing itself, but generally it excites me to hear the chirping of the birds, to be able to walk among the nature and enjoy some sun. Thank you for your videos always full of so much beauty, the good kind that is good for the heart.

Sticken und nähen, das sind wirklich entspannnende Tätigkeiten. Die ersten Stiche lehrte mich meine Oma. Der Klang ihrer Nähmaschine war in meiner Kindheit das Geräusch, zu dem ich eingeschlafen bin, wenn ich zu Besuch bei ihr war. Später, wenn ich Kleider oder Faschingskostüme für meine Kinder genäht habe, war sie immer anwesend, obwohl sie schon längst nicht mehr bei uns war. ❤
Das Konzert wird auch mein Sohn besuchen, er wird im Mai 19. Das wird unser Höhepunkt in diesem Monat. Vielleicht sitzt ihr nebeneinander 😊.

I had no idea that water-soluble embroidery transfer paper existed! I haven't embroidered for years, since my eyesight started to fail, but I remember learning as a little girl from my grandma. She would draw a simple pattern for me on plain paper and tack it to the cloth with a few stitches. I would embroider over it, and when I was finished, she helped me pull the paper out from under my work. It was painstaking for her, as she had arthritis in her hands. Such warm memories. Thank you for bringing them back to me!
Excited about blackberry picking at a local farm! :) You have also inspired me to start an embroidery project (pillowcases) I've been putting off. I've never embroidered and need to learn some stitches via UA-cam. Lovely video!
