I met my, now wife, in 1978. She used to go to 1950's Rock n Roll gigs. I was going to '70's Disco and bored shitless. Boy was I surprised. Loved it and ELO demonstrates this perfectly.

the 80's and 90's had some good music, but it came in dribs and drabs
I think this song would have been a big hit in the 1950s. It has that early rock n' roll vibe.
There’s very few songs that I remember for the right reasons but this one is for my happier youth
