Hiking the Hottest Trail to a SECRET Beach Near Hua Hin Thailand

  • Skull Mountain (Khao Kalok) makes an easy day trip from nearby Hua Hin and Pranburi Thailand. A 20 minute hike takes you up to a viewpoint with great views of the beautiful beach below. If you want to you can hike over an adjoining hill to the secluded Secret Beach (Also known as Sandy Beach).
A great place to stay nearby is the up and coming Dolphin Bay which is right next to the stunning Sam Roi Yot National Park. I put the drone up as sunset approached to get some great footage that shows the natural beauty of this area.

I've done that walk a few times but that was hands down the hottest yet Karl!! The only thing to watch for is the tide; if it's right in, then there is hardly any beach at all. Fantastic to see the drone footage - it gave me a totally different angle to what I usually see...

It was intensely hot that day (and precarious in places of course). As for the drone footage, I’d almost forgot about it, I went to clear some space on an SD card and thought what’s this? Glad I checked first before I deleted it.

Thanks Tom, yes that hike wasn’t really planned. Originally we were just going to hike up to the viewpoint but we kept extending it. Only downside was that we didn’t have much water and it was intensely hot. Beautiful hike though
