While I like TechAltar and he makes some really good points. I'd have to disagree on this. Yes the cameras on OP phones haven't been award achieving ones, the phones were rather good for the price. Right now I'm using the OP 8T and I just am more satisfied by it in the 4 months I've had it than I've ever been in the past 6 years using Samsung Devices.
@@aaront.9710 the camera on my Samsung galaxy S4 doesn't look that bad. I was scrolling in my Google drive and found pics from my old Samsung. I could still zoom in really far and make out people in the background. Wasn't much detail but I could tell there was some old people and stuff in the park.

They can shove all the fancy hardware they want into it but with how good Samsung, Apple and Googles software is, they cannot compete. Paper specs aren’t everything.
Thanks for sharing all the photo and video samples that many other reviewers leave out. That camera system is pretty disappointing admist all that hype. For that crazy price tag, they need include a rock from the moon 🌗

among the dozens of reviews that suddenly appeared on youtube this one is by far the greatest, you literally went to the moon and back to review the camera's haha
You know, I like MKBHD and Mrwhosetheboss. I haven't seen their videos yet, and I know I'll enjoy them. But I also know that, for the most part, they'll stay in their room talking to the camera and that's pretty much it. Michael's videos have so much more work, and so much more love put into them. Each video tells a story, with him traveling here and there and bringing some nice video footage to look at. The editing is very smooth, too. The narrating is on point. I like other reviewers, but Michael is the only one I love.
I took a “bathroom break” at work to watch this video in a stall. It was definitely worth it. I should get back to work before my boss wonders what happened to me.

I have been using oneplus ever since 3t and now using 7t. Paying 200 dollars plus to hasalblad is just waste of money. I don't know why oneplus doesn't understand. Google pixel made wonderful camera even before several years with just single lens. If oneplus wants better camera they better hire people from Google camera devision and then raise the price. As of now if I will have to buy a flagship phone I would switch back to Samsung.
One of the most honest reviews, with both positives and negatives, like it should be. After watching MKBHD and this one, the MKBHD feels "too shy" of pointing out the negatives. And not to forget the elephant in the room, the Price....

I was pretty hyped about the hassleblad partnership. But I admit, I fell for the marketing. I figured if anyone is going to disturb the space, its OnePlus. But alas, After seeing REAL sample shots from reviews, I might as well keep my Pixel 4 and wait for the Pixel 6. OnePlus as usual is giving you 90% of "flaghship" camera. (Although I admit the ultrawide probably wont get matched by apple or google till the next next generation). As per usual OnePlus, Specs above actual results. Sell the phone on marketing and fan base first, Design second, and Results always speak for themselves which is: dont get caught up in the oneplus hype. There is hype around oneplus ever single year, and every single time I watch the reviews I am left sort of meh, like, its competitive, but I might as well wait for Apple/Google to step up their camera game.
@Tong Zou Zeiss have only done well with Nokia and Sony because both Nokia (had) and Sony (have) fantastic camera teams. Zeiss also probably being the only one out of Leica and Hasselblad who are really still at the forefront of their fields helped too; the other two have been riding at lot on their reputation for years now.
Hassleblads contribution is mainly towards the lens and not the software. To take advantage of the lens you have to shoot in manual mode or pro mode OnePlus 9 pro is not for everyone.
Honestly Agree. I bought a OnePlus 7 Pro last year on sale and I bought it mainly because it was the last flagship OnePlus I could buy without going broke. I still like the company but they're getting too mainstream and not taking enough risks for new innovation. This is a bit disappointing but I can't blame OnePlus for wanting to more attract everyday buyers, it's just sad to see the fun features going away

oh lordy phones have come a long way... I'm still rocking the oneplus 5T...... the 9pro seems like a great option right now.... after I side load viper4android and sony's music player app... The editing in quality in your videos are also phenomenal
I am disappointed in OnePlus... They don't seem to care about longevity (Hardware) and value for money any more like they did in the old days. Almost everything got worse with every new product: - No removable battery anymore - No expandable storage anymore - Notches and Punch holes - Curved Screens - Ever larger and more expensive devices - No Headphone jack anymore Every point I mentioned is valid and will be mistaken for old or unnecessary. I guess they finally settled...
I love your videos. Have been watching your work since Pocket Now. If I can provide some constructive criticism it would be cool when testing the camera features that involves people or groups of people to try to have some folks with darker skin complexions. As a darker person how the camera depicts us does vary. This is an issue that a lot of tech reviewers have so please dont think I’m picking on you. You just happen to be one of my favorites who I watch all of your content. After watching your views I do make sure to check out Marquess, YourAverageConsumer, BoredatWork (just to name a few) to see how the camera would look capturing images of people like me. I would actually offer the same advice to them as well since I take pictures of diverse people and would like to know how the lighter complexions turn out also. Just my thought. Keep of the great work!
Great review Mr! I'm currently still on my huawei P30 pro, and really can't find any reason to switch to a newer phone! These days all manufacturers try to lure you to the "pro" model and really make the "normal/affordable" version really lacking behind in features.
I don't know how else to say it but, this is both a review and an adventure just seeing the actual context of the drive; to review a phone & part of it's feature's origin-if you will. The commitment *and* quality is insane, bar none! Keep it going man! :)
I'm curious - did you try the "Hasselblad Pro Mode" that they mentioned in the launch event? I haven't seen any of the reviewers so far use it. I think all the samples that OnePlus have shown were taken using it.

I love your videos. Have been watching your work since Pocket Now. If I can provide some constructive criticism it would be cool when testing the camera features that involves people or groups of people to try to have some folks with darker skin complexions. As a darker person how the camera depicts us does vary. This is an issue that a lot of tech reviewers have so please dont think I’m picking on you. You just happen to be one of my favorites who I watch all of your content. After watching your views I do make sure to check out Marquess, YourAverageConsumer, BoredatWork (just to name a few) to see how the camera would look capturing images of people like me. I would actually offer the same advice to them as well since I take pictures of diverse people and would like to know how the lighter complexions turn out also. Just my thought. Keep of the great work!

Great review Mr! I'm currently still on my huawei P30 pro, and really can't find any reason to switch to a newer phone! These days all manufacturers try to lure you to the "pro" model and really make the "normal/affordable" version really lacking behind in features.
I don't know how else to say it but, this is both a review and an adventure just seeing the actual context of the drive; to review a phone & part of it's feature's origin-if you will. The commitment *and* quality is insane, bar none! Keep it going man! :)

I'm curious - did you try the "Hasselblad Pro Mode" that they mentioned in the launch event? I haven't seen any of the reviewers so far use it. I think all the samples that OnePlus have shown were taken using it.
