    That always bugged me how trees in the distance looked weird and plain with no detail. The game looks 10x better now that it's fixed, all thanks to you man!

    Any idea how to minimize the flickering pixelated effect on the bushes and trees? I don't see it in your game. I have heard it has to do with the mipmaps on the transparency layer...whatever that means

    Question, why it's difficult to change the trees? because they are part of the world?
    the code is hidden or it's a mess to separate it as a object?
    or what's generating the conflict about them?
    i made and have alot of variant of those that i would like to test inside anomaly, i'm thinking to start using the xray engine just to change trees, but i would appreciate some knowladge about those.

      Sorry, but I'm not a good source of information about that part of the game, my work at the moment is about the rendering. The only thing I know about the problem is that the map editor is in a very bad shape and some modders are working on it.

    Is it possible to somehow fix sprites instead of vegetation at a distance or increase the distance before replacing the model with a sprite? Because it’s especially noticeable on large monitors, it really spoils the picture

      You can use the console command r__geometry_lod to adjust the billboard distance.

      No, it only require the installation of the Screen Space Shadows module.

    Should this work with "True Stalker" mod, because it's based on Open XRay engine, modified "Call of Pripyat"?

      No, True Stalker doesn't support the new engine modifications from SSS 19. Only the Developers of the mod can update the code.

    Excellent but always worry about FPS hits when shadows are mentioned. Have grass shadows quality at high already 😟
